This concert with the title "Love in Venice" took place in Maastricht/Netherlands (André Rieu's home town) in July 2014 when Amira was 10 years old (André made her a bit younger. ;-)). And André Rieu didn't speak German but the Dutch dialect that is spoken in his home province of Limburg. Thank you for reacting to my favorite singer! Greetings from Germany, Sabine

Great reaction! This performance has already been analyzed using pitch monitoring software, which graphically shows the notes hit and draws the vibratos. The analysis shows that no autotune was used, but that Amira's level of precision and vocal stability is absurd.

Andre made a mistake with her age. She was only 9 when she took part in, and won, Holland's got talent. That is where Andre first encountered Amira. Six months later, at this show, she'd had another birthday.
She is a superb singer though. Now she is an adult, jaws no longer hit the floor, but she still sings supremely well.
