For me, the "worst" part of the season was the Shang Charged Special glitch where the sound was bugged to be super loud and persist long after the special ended. Seriously, it basically made him unusable for the entire season.

I think for people that love Frozen, they might rate the season a little higher since it was so easy to work up the Frozen collection, but even as someone who loves Elsa and Frozen, the changes from week 5 and onward made this the worst season for the majority of the player base, especially for F2P.
Disney Speedstorm was basically just slamming all of its players, both new and OG, against the wall with a bunch of the horrible moves they've set for us. The Oswald Restricted races were completely unfair and uncalled for. Got players angry, especially for the new ones. I think this Season could and should have been better for everyone, but it was just a disappointing season. I just sure hope that Season 6 will be better for all players where it can actually be fair instead of the "Pay To Win" mindset that Speedstorm normally has.
The Frozen rewards were great! Most of mine are 5 stars. Season Tour was terrible. High requirements for terrible rewards. Daily & Weekly challenges were a hit and miss. I love the game but I wish that bumping was not a thing - it makes online racing terribly frustrating!
I joined the game at the start of this season so some of the races in the season towards the end i could not compete in because i dont have some characters starred up high enough and ive spent money to get shards but still cant get enough to win
Crazy thing is: i didn't care for this Season at all but manage to get to Tier 35. The highest ive ever gotten since the game began, and managed to get all the crew members for Frozen, (another first) but just couldn't get Elsa at all! But i will definitely grind for Season 6.
I hope they go back to how it was during season 2 cause I hardly opened up the game more than 20 times during this whole season...
On this season, i was able to unlock around 10 characters, and I hope season 6 will be the same.
The best thing for the Frozen season was how many bonus season boxes I got over Level 50 compared to any other season. But not worth it with how they screwed over the season tour so badly.
Honestly for as good as the season started it is amazing how poorly it went downhill. Hell I still wasn't able to complete the two chapters because they stopped giving out the level 30 upgrade parts for frozen racers.
Let's not forget chapter 10 requiring level 40 racers, which players who started at season 4 or only play casually, or don't pay would find it extremely difficult if not impossible to get. And anyone who just started this season surely didn't make it and might be discouraged from continuing.
Hopefully the devs will at least listen to whales since you're their bread and butter, but there's a chance since content creators will Pay regardless for the sake of your content, it might not matter.
I rather liked the season, the negative point that I have is the disappearance of the weekly events for the collections we gained more improvement objects, and the name bug correction. Like the color problem of wall-e's car, the problem of the plates of the frozen and oswald collections, the shang sound bug (one of my favorite drivers I played less because the bug was unbearable). And one that I have pointed out since season 3 is the non-translation of Pudge's name into French which is Doudou
I played more actively this season compared to last (began with F2P).
I jumped into ranked MP because of the increased rewards. I ground out the tokens needed for golden pass (and got to... tier 66 iirc so far). The racer boost events was quite nice.
But overall it didn't feel that different to last season where I didn't play as much nor had golden pass.
The increased recommended level for racers throughout the season tour kinda canceled out the increased rewards.
Having to get top 5% to unlock the new bonus racers kinda sucked, but I managed to get them all. Only managed to get 263/333 medals for the tour as well due to racer requirements.
The in-game shop is still overpriced imo, you don't really get a lot for your money and as such I don't really feel like supporting them either.
I don't have that high hopes for future seasons really. Would have loved to see a zootopia season tho :p

It started off incredibly well. Giving tons of shards for several characters earlier in the tour, enough to get most of them to that 3 star mark if you combine it with the other handouts like MPR 16 ranked grind and the star chaser events
Where it fell apart, was the final sections of it taking a nosedive in terms of restrictions, cutting rewards, and overall screwing with those who didn't spend money
I hope they took the feedback that was EVERYWHERE on the discord server and reddit, showing how displeased everyone was by the end, and make actual improvements for next one. Since for alot of people, if they continue down this route. Season 6 will be the final one they even give a fair shot before just abandoning the game
there was an event with the Mickey racers in S5? I saw the christmas (&new years eve) racing suits for them but i can't recall anything for the classic mouse racers 😮. Maybe i got it wrong
There are some positive obv, they give more shard, more rank reward, higher rate in seasonal box but the season tour and Wall-E/Ortensia shenanigan is huge black mark for this season.
Same with the Wall-E Event. I had about 3,500 tokens, I had to buy Wall-E’s unlock pack just so I could have him. So now, I’ve been grinding in Ranked Multiplayer just to stack up on some currency token’s hopefully before season six starts. I’m a dedicated player of this game, played since it was on Early Access. I wonder what GameLoft is going to do for this game’s first anniversary. What I think GameLoft should do is that they should give us 100 tokens for every character instead of just 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, and then 80.
I personally think I kinda like it because it was the session that introduced me to disney speedstorm so for that I can't say that I hate it nor love it
I was checking on Reddit for more leaks, and I found a complete collection of crewmembers and some shards pack for season six! can you do a video for it before the launch?
The season was great. I have most of the characters at 3-4 stars from this season, which was not the case for Aladdin, for example. Yes it was a bit greedy in the season tour towards the end, but it's definitely ok. We do hope season 6 will be better, but we'll see. If they continue to bring new characters and also have those character events often, I am more than fine with it.
Can we even say more that 300 medals are cool to have it during the season

If the little mermaid sesons box changes and gets bad everyone will get mad they better keep the style like how the frozen seasons box was
I personally think the season 5 is so not Good when it comes to changes but hopefully in season 6 it's not bad for the new bigger, and better changes
I hope they at least change the later nodes or the time attack events at least. I doubt they do both but it of course would be sweet
That season actually helped a lot, I'm close to getting everyone in the roster and the best part is that i haven't used any MTX.
This season for me was tight but enjoyable because I'm a free to play player I did manage to get enough medals to get all the rewards from the last chapter I think what Gameloft needs to do is find a balance between FTP and the early access racers hopefully in the next season but overall I would give this season a 7 out of 10
Before I watch, I’m going to say not really. The season tour was definitely a pretty big disaster, but the season boxes were way more free-to-play friendly. I was able to get all of my frozen racers to 4-star, and I obtained some fairly strong top speed crew. We did get a fair amount of racer shards at the very beginning as well. Everything just started going down hill when it not only required racers most people didn’t own, but also required them to be at a pretty high level. I was not a fan of that, especially since they required a mid-season racer (Oswald) to get the job done as well, and at level 30+. It was pretty rough. The exp progression felt smooth as well, which allowed us to get more season box credits. Overall, the season wasn’t that bad, but please, please, don’t make the requirements too absurd next time.
Edit: Requiring woody to get woody shards was a pretty big troll.
I still haven't uninstalled because i really like the gameplay, but i stopped playing in part 4 of the season tour, couldn't handle anymore bullsh*t. They completely trashed the season tour and character events because of their greed, if next season things don't change there's going to be a lot more uninstall's than just mine.

Not this season, I’ll have an updated one a few weeks into season 6 though
For a competitive game this game has more bugs than a crackheads mattress,
and the only thing we saw more predatory than the in game cash shop was jimmy saville himself.
Ima still play it tho.
Gonna have to be a “glass is half empty” guy and say that I don’t see improvements coming going forward. I think they’re going to stick with their guns because it makes them money. I haven’t played in weeks and never really looked back. Game stopped being fun for me when it became more and more like a p2w grind. But I do really hope that game loft will realize they made bad decisions and that it really does improve. Regardless though, I’m done with the game, but I’m rooting for positive changes at the same time.

I would say its definitely a mixed feeling of this season since yeah for veterans it be way too easy now but for the player base that joined from f2p season 4 and brand new players is definitely a turn off.
Yeah I get it, asked for too much is what I can say that they made that decision since we kinda felt a bit guilty for asking for so much that it made them this move to show we cannot be selfish.
Still for those I feel sorry they can't get everything as even me I never got to fully finish last season tour due to not having Mickey and Donald lvl 35 as restricted. While I only have lvl 25 stitch and Minnie due cause they were too hard. Luckily got all the rewards from getting podium finish at least and we will see.
I think season 6 will have to balance out more like decrease rewards slightly while not going so far on the limited events on rewards. Balance is key as I can get hated for this comment.

I’m gonna say this what I didn’t like about season five was the gas racers not the racers themselves know I like them they were fine but the way how you get them was was annoying I didn’t get any of the racers because they always pick tracks that it’s hard to even get to The top right it’s a time trial right for Wally they pick the worst track for a time trial I’m sorry the jungle book track is a good map it’s just for a time trial there’s a lot of twists and turns and stuff and I did use the real path the whole time and I still cannot make it under one minute and somethings seconds same thing for Oswalt I was always off by by five seconds I got five shards for Oswalt and I got three shards for Wally and three for other one OK season four I wasn’t a big fan of Gaston and Hades Hades to me is what is the least offensive compared to gas song because I just thought he was like really slow and stuff that’s it I gave the Aladdin season a 7.5 yes I give a six it’s not a bad season it’s just those little grapes I had with the game I ended up taking breaks in between I did unlock Sully though so I’m happy i’m excited for the new season
Easily the worst. Too many game breaking changes that cut down on player rewards. Next season needs to be drastically better.
Be a wise man, don't play any events in a many harder season tour, ortensia pack, and so on, i think season 5 was not very bad after all, because lot some decent issues like very harder special events, season tour, tons of lot crew members, etc, my opinion i will not buy a bonus pack for racers or even season tour chapter for improvements of racers, so a i will try bonus event in season 5 but is even very harder i will try it
As a whole no to me the worst season was 4 because i was only able to get 1 season character to 3☆ level 30 all others were 2☆ and below level 25 meanwhile every other season i got all characters to a minimum of 4☆ level 30+ season 4 was EXTREMELY STINGY and terrible experience for me 5 improved greatly from that although its not perfect because events were very stingy in season 5 not giving enough shards to unlock for everyone

Personally my Hans is 4 stars, but I got a better deal cause like you I have a 5 star Kristoff, but unlike you I also have a 5 star Anna who is also not only my favorite from the Franchise, but also now my main trickster.
She's getting nerfed in 2days btw 20boost reduction on her ulta

Yes cuz frozen only appeals to a very certain demographic and same with little mermaid. Doing these two season back to back was a horrible idea .
I don’t think the season’s themes are a problem, personally. Frozen and The Little Mermaid are classic Disney movies and about as popular as they get

They're not really appealing to male players with the new racers.
There hasn't been an awful lot to hold interest in the last week to be honest and I'm hoping a lot of the racing bugs are being worked out.
Dont really get why its the worst season yet. This has been the best season for f2p players yet. ive enjoyed it almost as much as season 1. altho i agree the events are getting worse for new players since im a season 1 player i unlock all the characters anyways. but i see thats a problem for new players but besides that its been an awsome season IMO

I want changes in season 6 by new bigger massive change for season tour star chaser events time trials event get more easy ways for more shards and shop boxes needs change the price down and season coins and tokens are turning down🙏🤞🤞
they overpowed anna she just needs her invunerable taken away and act like s normal sheild with boost so can easily knock it off her.
I watched my little brother get grand champ with anna, I love her. She cancels the heavy stun meta. So I hope they don't nerf her.
Their is no heavy stun Meta invulnerability is the metta thats why Ana, elizibith, Hun are the easiest to rank up with.@@Gr0ggers
