Basically the only reason you'd buy Char's Gelgoog is if you absolutely love Char Aznable. Like me. I already own the Cannon and I still really want Char's. Dat red tho. Great review man!
It's only like 20 bucks off amazon for.one probably cheaper or the same on ebay or gundam planet. If.youre a gundam fan period no reason to get one unless you get paid 1 dollar an hour job.
@@HamanKarn567 I get 50 cents an hour, how many hours do I have to work to get this kit? I am so poor that I can't even read or count. I don't even know how I know what you just wrote, I am just that messed up. Lol. I had to work a week to eat a meal.
This thing articulates much better than I would've thought. In the absence of a revive, scavenging a double joint elbow from something else is enough to make it competitive with modern high grades
So, if you want to stabilize the beam rifle a little more, you can actually hook the bottom of the stock into the top of the forearm armor, just under the elbow joint. Also gives the appearance of bracing the gun properly! Great review, as always!
this is like a case of the casval rx 78. the price nowadays is extremely expensive but there's the option of buying a rg rx-78 and painting it to casval's colors. same with the gelgoog, get the black gelgoog and paint it with char's colors.
You could probably just glue or plastic cement the beam rifle in to the dedicated trigger finger hand. You could just pop it off when it's not in use, if you want to use the naginata.
Hello, Kakarot! I'm aware that this is quite an old video now, but I am really curious about something. At 7:08, roughly when you brought out the Gelgoog Cannon, I see it has a Beam Sniper Rifle. Does that come from some kind of old weapons pack? I'd love to get one for a Gelgoog.
My introduction to Gundam was Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2 on Xbox 360, and I remember that I decided to play as Char through my first playthrough of Official Mode just because Char stood out to compared to the other characters. 😂 So I remember completing the first mission being introduced to the Zaku 2 Char variant and it was a really intimidating mobile suit to me so when I started the next mission in what looked like the Zaku 2 on steroids I was very surprised and the Gelgoog stood out to me very much with its double edged sword, giant shield, and weird sniper beam rifle
New kits are the wrong color but these older kits have the Anime red for the body and the redish salmon pink. I don't get why the newer kits keep going with the wrong colors. I also know that colors changed in the original Anime and the dimensions of the body changed from frame to frame but I never seen those newer color's on any of Char's suits.
that kit is nice and I like the beam naginata so I might buy it yet I like the sculpting and the design of the gelgoog jaeger better exept for the feet and shins wish bandai can incorporate both of those things together
A personal problem with a lot of mobile suits. I like the boxiness, it's nice. BUT considering this series is militaristic it is actually unsensible and also architectually questionable to have so many flat surfaces for AP ammo
That's a problem with tanks....incidentally, one that is easily solved. With the Tiger tank, which had an almost 90 degree slope on its front glacis, it was found that it could be easily penetrated by frontal hits from 1944 onward. Solution, they angled the tank 1 o clock or 11 o clock, and most shots easily deflected, even against the thinner side armor. These are mobile suits, you would rarely be getting straight-on 90 degree shots. The bigger problem is with the limbs. Tank armor thickness is based on expected engagement, which is why the frontal armor is thicker than the side armor, and the side armor is thicker than the top armor. Hence why they are so vulnerable to strafing aircraft and anti-tank mines. Compromises have to be made between protection and mobility, which would be exacerbated to an extreme degree by having such a heavy mobile suit with so much surface area. The armor would have to be extremely thin to nonexistent across most surfaces.
Wanna get this just because you're a Char fan? Go. Wanna get a Gelgoog? Buy the regular variant. Wanna cannibalize the Beam Naginata for the Pale Rider [VG]? I guess.
AxeCrazyAutobot yes I know. I adore hguc and hgac. built 50 or so of them. However, after building some RGs, that's all I am looking for in quality now

There can never be enough Char's suits. After all he The Man of UC.

Do you want to buy this? NO. Video looks like end, but it continues. Bambozleed again, fair move mr kakarroto
Now you just need to do the plain Gelgoog Marine and you'll pretty much have covered them all. Or have you? Swear I've seen a review of it somewhere.
We need more gelgoog models
The curse of the great gelgoog/gelgoog cannon strike again
this makes me want a modern Regelgu
I tend to hook the rifle's stock into the elbow hinge.
Just bought another one of these today. Lol.
I just really love Gelgoogs and need more for custom ideas.
This was unexpected.
But very much welcome. :)
oh hey i know you from twitter
wait, it has been, how many years without any new Gelgoog HG???

Gotta love the classics.
Gelgoog's shield really reminds me of Proto Man's Shield, and vice Versa

I would definitely buy it because I love Gelgoogs. I just got a Gelgoog Jaeger. :D

Man, due to my limited space I want to get one of each mobile suit model type possible but I don't know which Char mobile suit should I get.

Char's usual colors being a shade of red and a darker shade of red, always placed in the areas but always different.
chars MS (or any char colored ms always turn out too dark in vids.
I got this just because it’s the only gelgoog at the hobby shop I go to and I’m painting it
I really like char due to his red colour and where did you get that?!
The naginata is very loose. How do you thicken it?

If we were operating on ww2 logic, sure that would make sense, but no. That logic does not transfer to gundam considering beam weapons exist.
@@char1137
Why not?
@@TheKing-qz9wd slope armor isnt even a factor in modern warfare, much less warfare in gundam.
I might just wait for the RG version :)
@Kakarot197, where you got the beam weapon for Gelgoog Canon. Please share link, thanks!
LATE reply, but you can make that Prototype Beam Rifle from the System Weapon 002 set.
When are you going to to a review on a zuda model kit
Do more HGUC kits!
I would buy the hell out of a revive gelgoog
if you buy two of them you could have two eye balls which is pretty nice.
what's the ed chiptune?
I almost broke the part where the legs connect.
You forgot to say the Gelgoog Cannon comes with enough parts to make the normal Gelgoog
Gelgoog is a cooler zaku
Just built my own last night. The naginata so loose in both closed fists
Did you coat it?
I think this is the first no I ever hear you say lol!
The only problem i have with this kit is because THE NAGITA KEEPS SLIPPING OFF
char best boy
I might get the gelgoog jager
Don't
@@gunsandgamingus ok how about the zgok E
Zeon suits have funny names.

That's classic UC for you.:p

ZombryaTheDark RGs tend to have a lot more problems than HGs although
Jetfire48 yes sir. Like they are more fragile and gimmicky and more stress causing
ZombryaTheDark have you gotten HGUC Byarlant Custom?
