I used to play a lot of table soccer and loved making quick movements in front of the goal with the forward line and then casually and slowly kicking the ball into the goal. Most of the opponents then frantically pulled their goalibar back and forth, but mostly managed to get past the slowly rolling ball. Of all my trickshots, this was my favorite, as long as you didn't do it too often with the same opponents! - greetings to Kucharov! :)

One thing I love about this video is how at some points, one clip shows a team being scored on and the next is that team scoring the goal. If that was intentional, I love that style of editing. Great video as always my friend
If you do another edition of this, you should include the goal by Buffalo's Tage Thompson against Chicago on March 28, 2022, when he broke his stick on a shot on goal and the puck hit the backboard, came back out to hit the goalie and go in for the winner with just seconds to go in the game!
Gotta say slow shots absolutely suck, especially when you play with faster shooters. Went from playing for a varsity team and playing for Junior B at the same time. It conditioned me to struggle with the slower shooters, even though Varsity is much worse.
These hurt so much to watch lol. This is my fear in every game, that I'm gonna let in a stupid slow one lol Some of these you can't blame the goalie tho. Bouncing pucks absolutely suck, and you can't read a shot that wasn't even supposed to happen.
You missed the 75 ft lob on Mike Smith, in the 2nd round of the 2022 playoffs against Calgary...as an EDM fan, that one was hard to watch even when it happened...LOL.
Forgot if this was Oilers game, but there was one where a player took a shot from the point, but god a bad stick on it, and it just slowly roles past all the players and past the goalie, curious if anyone has a link to that one.
@@DeltaHighlightsbeen really good recently! Getting a new kitten Sunday :D great to be back, and I’m excited for the upcoming season too! Great to hear from you ^^
As a goalie I can say that we absolutely hate facing odd pucks. We’ll face 3-4 of these a night normally, and if the puck has ~1% chance of going in, you can do the math that every 25-35 games one will find it’s way in and there’s very little you can do about it. The fact that it’s not impossible combined with it’s unfortunate frequency in most games means we can’t exactly avoid these mishaps. Nobody cares when you save 99 of them, they only care when you don’t save 1.
@ghost-whitesand9447 the other part of goaltending is a beautiful contrast from being a player in terms of your team. When it’s an important game, or important moments happen, you’re the furthest person on the ice for your teams victories and the closest person to the failures. The overtime loss? You’re the final person the other team beat before it’s over. Your team wins? They all congratulate the game winner at the other end of the ice. They’ll never have your back on a bad goal but they’ll only “WHOOAAA” for a second when you make a great save. Toughest position in all of sports.
@@Mordecai478Maliks goal was basic af. He shot the puck with his stick between his legs. Big whoop, every NHLer could do that. What Datsyuk did is next level.
@tino6176 As a Leafs fan, this will be the one thing fellow Leafs fans will remember most. Like you said, it's happened to so many others, but a lot of those guys had many more positives with their respective teams than Toskala did.
As a goaltender, there is absolutely nothing worse than a flipping bouncing puck. They can change direction so incredibly unpredictably and sometimes you just cannot change the momentum of your predicted movement to react in time. It’s awful. Whole reason they call these goals a bad/lucky bounce.
Goalies are like the T-Rex from Jurassic Park: Their vision is based on movement

Waited the whole vid for "OH ITS A GOAL it bounces right by Toskala!"
As a beer league goalie it makes me feel good seeing multiple hall of fame level goalies let in soft ones every now and then.
Compiling/Editing these videos must be hard work. Even coming up with new ideas is difficult. Thank you!
Thank you a lot, it’s lots of fun but also a bit of a grind!

1:15 Scott Darling’s time with Carolina in a nutshell.
Who knew Quick would be in here so much XD
As a goalie I make that mistake a lot. Sometimes the puck is too strong for our stick so I just butterfly on slow shots now

As Steve Dangle says, "if you're a goaltender, TEND THE GOAL!"
Steve Dangle is a loser.
So funny how even at the highest level, anybody can mess up on simple plays
Buddy knows the muffin man
Jonathan Quick had his share of bad puck management out of his net! xD
Seems he wasn't. "Quick." Enough. hahaha ha a I'll see my self out.
this is the greatest video of all time

They backkkkk🔥🔥🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️
Hehe, watching this makes me remember when getting tired of playing the NHL games and adjusting the bounciness of the puck to silly fun levels, hah.
how have I not seen all these! incredible stuff
Thank you! I try my best to do research on my videos.
the kind of video I watch to feel better after I let a bad goal or have a bad game 😅
Must be gutting to be a goalie and this happen. Awesome vid!
Good to see Quick can only save pucks that are moving quick
Gotta say slow shots absolutely suck, especially when you play with faster shooters. Went from playing for a varsity team and playing for Junior B at the same time. It conditioned me to struggle with the slower shooters, even though Varsity is much worse.
That third clip was the most Tristan Jari thing that I've ever seen Tristan Jari do.
Poor Quick... how many of these has he had?... i counted at least 4 i think in this video...
New title for the video: "Jonathan Quick and a couple other guys let in some softies"
Camburger Ward had a couple in here as well
As someone who followed the Kings during the 2010s, Quick had something like this happen every 3-4 games it seems.
6:05 it looks like the stick blade just whacks the goalie in the face that's golden, good shit
Rebound off the boards went in 😂
This is what nightmares are made of.
Crazy how many of these happened in the playoffs
Nice work on the edits. Keeping the previous clip audio running while starting the next to catch the comments from the booth. Well done!
The chip was actually amazing
Best part of the whole video is the Staples ad on the boards behind Quick for the McDonagh goal. "That was easy"
Kevin Bieksa's series winning goal that brought the Nucks to the 2011 Finals was slow enough.
Why is Jonathan Quick in so many of these clips 🤣
Also, Kucherov's fake at 5:55 has the best call I've ever heard in a Lightning game
As a beer league goalie, this is nightmare fuel.
Can we also call this the “softee” compilation?
So... johnny quick is the most shown goalie letting these shot in.. interesting
Delta back with a banger video
Can you make one of these with the worst "If you're a goaltender, tend the goal" errors?
That's Steve Dangles bit from sdpn
7:02 I remember that deflect goal and it was quite funny.
That’s a Dang it
I believe you forgot about all the slojo goals by Ryan Johansen with the predators in the shootouts lol
That’s another type of slow goals I should do haha
you should do wrap around goals, Michigan's, or iconic breakaway moves (jyes, ik youve already done something like it).
I hope all those goalies watch this video. It goes to show it can and does happen to everyone.
Next video idea: Broken stick goals

Some of these you can't blame the goalie tho. Bouncing pucks absolutely suck, and you can't read a shot that wasn't even supposed to happen.
Quick loves to give up bad goals lol
If you didn't know anything about hockey you would think Quick was the worst goalie in history after watching this.

The puck movement wasn’t slow enough
0:42 happened to me in my last game😅
There is a good number of these goalies that have their name on Lord Stanley's Cup.

I really thought Claude Giroux's goal from last year against Vegas would be on here, but a great compilation nonetheless

2:55 is definitely the most unfair
the funniest part is - tho NHL standard slow , these shots are still pretty fast for the average person lmao
I'm sad that you left out Old Man Mike Smith's 135 footer from the last BoA.
1st clip too funny
Clicked this for Toskala. Didn't dissapoint.
The last one inspired by Tree
So glad to not see my beloved blue jackets in this one lol

Only Chris Krieder would celebrate after scoring a goal like that
Id be celebrating too if i shot that. He knew it wouldnt make it in but it did so obv thats gonna make you hype
Pff, Datsyk did the Omark :)
So funny that a guy literally named "Quick" let so many slow ones through.
It's happened 3 times to Quick in this video
I have a video idea: "Where's the puck? ... SCORE!!"
(e.g. Kevin Bieksa's series winner against San Jose in the West Final of the 2011 Playoffs)
2010 cup winner, too.
aka: the most anti-climactic cup-winning goal in NHL history.

its like a batter striking out on a 70mph off speed. when u get so used to a certain speed, you trip out a little bit by these weird ones
