    Thanks a lot for that video. My LC2 pack used the 2nd buckle. Showed me that I had mine wrong. BTW, having that strap a little looser than tight, allows the pack to sit a little lower on my back, which when only 5' 6" can be useful. A real nice pack, fits well and is comfortable.

    Wow.
    I bought an original frame in great condition with the improved LC2 straps (woodland) and the first version of this kidney pad strap on there für my third Alice pack (yes, video of them all for you, soon :P).
    After searching the web for a while I thought it was a "broken / badly repaired" ALICE system cargo strap.
    Go figure it's a genuine belt strap after all and working as intended.
    Thanks a great bunch, I wouldn't have figured how to correctly set it up without browsing through your videos!

      Glad it helped! I simply learned from other youtube vids that i linked in the description, but from time to time i need to rewatch them or i end up forgetting how to set it up 😅 Keen to see the video(s) bro!

    hardest part of the assembly by far, main reason i switched to a molle 2 kidney pad
