Shawn , I just grabbed one from the $5.00 bin at my LCS . I thought it odd to see a 64 Set . I got the Americana Series and the Dime has a nice tone in Roosevelt's hair , Mine is by the American Historic Society . AHS incased in 1998 , nothing special coins accept the Half , Quarter and Dime are silver and are silver , AHS put a # on the case too. I just over spent a 100k in the last 5 years so I hope I got the one worth the 100k
This is The Presidents collection - It looks like mine is only worth $30.00 . That's better than the $5.00 I Paid ,

I still don’t see how a novice collector can submit a coin for grading With Needing to Indicate A Grade for the coin. We’re told we don’t have the knowledge to put a probable grade on an EBay sales yet They Seem to Believe We Have That Ability.. If submitted at a low grade, Will they Give the Correct Higher Grade and Slab it? And, will they bill you for having to grade a coin that is higher than stated? Will they grade an SMS coin as an SMS when not having indicated it?
Just wonder when we start to collect all current denominations by die variety, along with varieties of all dies? When I started collecting Large cents in 1956 there were just under 300 dies usef to produce all the dates from 1793 until 1857....There are a few more now but can you imagine collecting every die state of each Lincoln cent and giving them a RARIETY VALUE....Well it could be fun!!!

I have a 64 P set in the Cello and in a 64 Mint package. All 5 coins. I haven't done a deep dive look at the set ...yet. Hate to pay but as you said ...no way to really know if not Graded.

I posted some photos of a few of my coins on my channel. The ones that I think could be sms like the three that have identical polishing behing 96 in 1964. I can't afford the grading process.
My sets r still in the sullafane package the mint button in them.
I would love to know how these sets were packaged. My '64 set is sealed in hard plastic with no identifying marks on it.

Ser I have 1 1964 half dollar
I may possibly have the1964 SMS Kennedy Half Dollar in a set of 4. It may possibly be the Accented Hair. The serif on the I is not all there and the hair looks different then others. I have a 1964,1967,1976 and 2000 uncirculated in a set purchased from a coin dealer in 2011. Their from the United States Commemorative Gallery evidently the year 2000. Because 2000 P is in their uncirculated.
They look like brand newly minted.
You really have to see this. The other side has a 1909S VDB a 1943 P steel cent. A 1958 P uncirculated wheat cent and a 2000 P Lincoln Cent.
Did the kenedy 1964 d come in a little square black/plastic on front.protective case?

There's a very simple flow chart to determine if you have a 64 SMS:
-Can you trace it back to Eva Adam's estate?:
>Yes: Congrats! You *MIGHT* have a 64 SMS coin.
>No: Sorry. Better luck next time.
So basically if your a nobody your parents didn’t hand one down nor do you have one from the pawnshop

Over 10,000 wheat pennies, over 50,000 Lincolns, few thousand nickels as well as dimes and quarters. Almost 3500 state quarters and national park quarters, brand new uncirculated as well as a ton of silver dollars and silver half dollars. With my schedule and my sports cards i dont have time to do coins but i keep buying peoples coin collections
