You're not building a home in Sweden, you're building equity and leverage, you will most likely set up a corp or LLC and rent the house to yourself, and most likely others (Airbnb) write off all the building costs and interior decoration to the corp and use the equity in the homes to either invest or build more equity somewhere else. AND the icing on the cake is that because you are "filming" your RUclips videos there you can write off the travel as personal expenses against your RUclips income. Easy as pie - welcome to the wealthy club and understanding how it all works.

Selling will be more tricky.

This is the Stockholm archipellago so they have access to like 30.000 islands around them too, of which probably hundreds close by for day trips... Dream, yes!
I think you should sell a tiny bit of it to Jens and Michaela so that they can build there too and keep the family together. They can watch your house when you're not there.

They are 13km (8 mi) from Stockholm city center. I think people live in the capital city all year round. As oceanfront property goes, it is about as protected as it can be. Warm or cold? Depends on what you compare to. Last winter Texas was probably colder than Stockholm, in the summer it may be warmer than the Mediterranean. Tomorrow's forecast says a max of 33C (91F).
Storms ? No 😅 and there is not always snow in vinter times in Sweden everywhere. Of course you can live in your summer house the year round. Great location going to be a great summer house when it’s finished . But it’s take time to build..
