Your not wrong but investing large amount of money into their parks may have sounded good for the guest experience but it was bad on the other side for six flags this led to financial problems debt of course and Kingda Ka was the final nail in the coffin and they wrapped the parks in ads just to make more money and reduce park spending to generate more revenue however I’m gonna be honest these additions during the bankruptcy were really good but the clock is ticking as these rides that were added from the early 2000s are starting to get old and six flags needs replacements and with six flags new management and new management to come you probably won’t see large coasters like nitro or king da ka because of their size and I can say the same for cedar fair dragster may be getting a rework but this probably only extends its years by 10 at most but as much as we love big giant coasters they aren’t financially ethical

TTD cost 33 million when adjusting 2003 dollars to 2017 dollars. Somehow I don't feel like six flags would want to do anything else to jack up the price, so they went with this. I've ridden both, only reason why TTD is "better" is because of the restraints. I don't get all the hate Great Adventure gets for this ride - the launch isn't rough and it's a great supporting coaster for El toro and Nitro. Same goes for TTD. It wraps up the top three with Millie and Maverick very nicely.

New jersey has a law that all roller coasters above 200+ ft. are required to have Over-the-shoulder-restraints. Originally, the ride was going to use lap bars. Kind of a shame

I rode in the teal train but it always had some problems i dont think the dual loading station is being used for reasons but ive been on the left side once i think it was just walking under the launch track was like nothing anyone can beat the noise and just wacthing trains zip over you wow but sucks they stopped this
