Oh Lordy, just love your vlogs. You’re a couple of stars, thank you so much for all the effort you put into your vlogs. So looking forward to seeing what you are up to next. Take care lovely folks xx
Being in Aus, there is no way I could ever do this, I truly would love to take my wife to visit such a beautiful part of the world. But getting too old to do this now. Thank you so much for this and all the stories and such. You are beautiful people and I have loved watching this series. From build to trip. I have been with baited breath every week for the next episode.
Outstanding content guys. Top notch in every way. You put commercial TV travel shows to shame. Hang in there John! However, I think you might protest a tad too much. Really, you're loving it.
As a Finn, I find these tips amusing, for us this winter, snow, ice and cold is completely everyday. It's great that you had a good time and welcome back in the summer!
Fantastic rundown of your amazing bucket list trip to the Arctic. thanks for sharing. looking forward to your next adventure. Jon not right about the toilet roll 😂😂😂😂
First, I started watching at your current van build an I just loved the arctic series with it. Your banter is just a delight to watch and seeing the lovely places you visit is loads of fun. Now, I have a question for your working on RUclips video. I have always wanted to know, if you can tell us, what does one advertisement earn you? Not, how much you made from advertising over the year or month, but what did company X pay you for that ONE RUclips video? My next question would be, do you talk to other RUclipsrs about what they make from advertisers? Are you even allowed to talk about this or is it in the contract that you cannot disclose the revenue? Thank you for the fun video watches and keep them coming!
We found your channel today, and what a breath of fresh air. How good is Jon at DIY and what a sense of humour! Ruined our Saturday we’ve binge watched you!
So glad that RUclips suggested your channel, I’ve binged the Sainsbury’s van and Nordic trip, absolutely love the content and your relationship with each other is brilliant- although I’m definitely Team Jess, she must have the patience of a saint!😂 Keep the good stuff coming and love to you both x
Having found your channel and binged I will now be at a loss, however I can now get on with my project in the garage and try to forget about workshop envy! Great to see the bloopers, although it shattered my illusion of your perfection😂
Fantastic part of the world and been there many times with work. Many of the towns you mentioned such as Saariselkä, ivalo, Rovaniemi, Lulea, Arjeplog + others, are used by the motor industry this time of the year for cold climate testing. We also hire a lake away from eyes and cameras, for early sensitive prototype vehicles. You may of seen some test cars which are camouflaged and normally in a convoy with support vehicles close by. As well as motor companies testing there are many of the tyre companies out there testing..... FYI, although at hand, we always uses winter tyres and not studded!! sorry adds to your arguments. Looking forward to the next trip!! keep up the great work. FYI and diesel you brought back either in the tank, or in jerry cans its worth using it rather than holding onto it there are so many additives in it because of the cold and doesn't keep!
Thanks ever so much for all the info, fascinating about the testing and good to know about the diesel as I do have the Jerry can to use, thanks mate 👍👍👍
Thanks you two for giving us an insight into your fantastic journey. There is an old saying known as the 7 P’s and clearly it worked for you. “Prior Preparation and Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance” - clear to see you followed the 7 P’s. Looking forward now to the next journey. Take care and enjoy the home time. 🫖
Very useful information. As someone experienced with using winter tyres, the one piece of advice that I will give is to never buy second hand winter tyres that are over 3 years old. Winter tyres, especially those designed for both snow and ice, are softer than normal tyres and as we all know, rubber hardens over time. Winter tyres will harden sufficiently within 3 years that they greatly lose their effectiveness. Regardless of the amount of tread on the tyres, I always change after 3 years. It is similar in a way to the common sense 'rule' of changing caravan and trailer tyres at around the 7 year mark, regardless of the amount of tread. Different circumstances, but it is the 'nature of the beast' part that is the point.
Hello travellers! Nice content from your "artic" odyssey. I have some tips regarding tyres. It's not so straightforward actually. In Norway and in parts of Sweden there are area's where a studded tyer is the best and safest option. Especially if you are not used to winter roads. But you are actually not allowed to use them everywhere in some cities in Sweden. When you travel in the northern part of Norway, Sweden and Finland and in the inner parts of Sweden and Finland you actually can do with a regular tyre as long as the temperature stays below -9 celcius. Your choice of the all terain tyer is basically useless other than when you drive in snowy untouched roads if the temperature goes above -5 celcius. The best choice is a friction compound tyre. It will work even on ice. Almost as good as a studded tyre. and it is not prohibited anywhere.
Thanks for the info mate, we never noticed the signs until we got to Helsinki where we saw no studded tyre signs, we didn’t realise so many other places didn’t allow them 👍
Came across your channel at the beginning of the van build. I have been hooked ever since. Thank you for taking us all on your trip. From the beautiful scenery, the fantastic activities you undertook, your personal interactions and best of all John Boys nudity in the snow. The mullet reminds me of the old monks hair cuts . Well done Jess in your barbers efforts on a moving head, it is not easy. Looking forward to the future episodes. From Tasmania with love.
Started watching when you guys started the Sainsbury’s van conversation, it’s about time I caught up from the start………. Wish me luck, hopefully the banter is on a par with the last few months.
I have seen all the content on the net ( well, almost :-) ), but you are absolutely the kings. On top, I have a few tools myself ( an euphemism, of course ) only four welding machines, for instance,( but in the process of acquiring at least two more this autumn, a good MIG and, for sure, a very good TIG. My wife knows nothing). I counted my spanner sets, Jon wins, I only have eight, or so. 🙂 And I can go on like this for hours, but I will spare you.. Your videos are very useful even to people ho have some previous DIY experience. Thank you! P.S. I am converting two trucks (you heard well, two): a street panel van Iveco 5.4 t and an ex Danish army MAN 8.136 4x4. (I simply do not intend to match muscles with Jess 🙂..)
That’s such a generous compliment thank you 💙 sounds like you and Jon would get on like a house on fire 😂😂 your vehicles sounds like beasts!! Very nice 👌😂😂 they are very intimidating 💪😂
I would like to say to you both , I’ve absolutely loved watching every week with the latest escapades! As someone that unfortunately suffers with mental illness, which restricts me on a daily basis just going outside my front door, and also feeling pretty miserable about life in general! you both with that wonderful attitude & the trip have given me nothing but positivity, in which has made me genuinely feel like I’m sure all viewers, that you took us along for the ride! You guys really are a Tonic which for many is something we really appreciate! I will continue to watch & look forward to the next Adventure to Africa in the Landy! Although I’ve definitely got a soft spot for the “Ole Girl” .. I mean the “Sainsbuggs Van” Jon 😂 ! Jess is wonderful too !!! Also I look forward to more “Tool Time” as well Jon ! Take care both 😊
That’s such an incredibly lovely thing to say thank you 💙 so glad that you came with us and will be coming to Morocco too . We love the ole girl too which is why she’s sticking round for a bit longer 😂💙
Wonderful arctic vlogs, I’ve really enjoyed the series. You guys, Alex and a few others have inspired me to winterise my van (underway) for a photography trip starting feb 1st 25 up through Norway. Your collective experiences, information, tips and tricks have made the planning much more straightforward than I initially thought. Thank you so much :)
Your channel is better than the travel shows on mainstream TV, I'm amazed you've not got ten times the subscribers you currently have. Binge worthy viewing faw sure!
Thank you / Diolch yn fawr, both. It's been great coming along for the ride. Already looking forward to N Africa and in one of the greatest vehicles to be born 👍🏼
You two are a hoot! Suggestion: (not that you asked) Flip your blinds to where the black out one comes from the bottom instead of the top. By doing this, you (Jess) can have some privacy but still let light in.
Thanks for taking us along with you on this trip, what fantastic memories you have made and shared....so glad to hear you're keeping the van, shes done you proud 😊❤
Thank you ever so much..I'm looking forward to that now..I suppose like everyone else I'm curious to find out what you are doing with the Sainsbury van...David..
Hi 😊 I live in the north of Scotland & have travelled many times to Europe in my van to have fun in the snow with my siberian huskies. Doing what you do looks great fun, but also a lot of hard work. I wish you well on your future adventures! I started following you when I seen the sainsbury van conversion. Really enjoyed watching what you did with it. Never realised you had a defender conversion, I'm now off to check that out. Really enjoying my Saturday morning watching your you tube videos, & especially the added on mistakes at the end was fun to see 😁 All the best Mike
Most excellent! And top tips. And well done for showing what us chaps have to suffer in order to guarantee pancakes for breakfast outside of the religious festival. 😷 Warts and all tv. The thing with haircuts is that if you wait long enough, it will come into fashion.. so all is not lost.. Superb, Team Blue. Happy travels 👍
Brilliant vid guys....brilliant trip, brilliant van build. John, just blink three times if you need help mate....we can see that Jess would clearly swear at you 😂😂
say it again Jess LOL Tyre roof rack with the studs on ready for the switch??? LOL general Jess thanks for allowing us to follow along on your beautiful adventure, looking forward to the announcement
@@truebluetravellers it'll mean extra weight and using more fuel but would mean you're ready for anything the arctic circle or other similar tundra can throw at you on your next adventure
Hi guys, Im Matti from tunturiflow! Keep up with a good vids! About the tires, studded tires are only option in north.,all terrain ones does not work. As they teach us in driving school: A cat can climb a tree without claws, but a cat that keeps its claws in a tree does not fall down! ;)
Another superb vlog and a great way to recap the details of your trip. Thanks again for sharing and bring on your next adventure. The Landy to North Africa sounds awesome.
as always, Awesome Awesome Awesome but can i say i have enjoyed the whole series thoroughly For the past 3 months watching all the build/upgrade of the Sainsbury van. I have Really enjoyed the whole series, so entertaining and you both make me laugh so much that my wife and the dog thinks im bonker's laughing at the screen every saturday night. so keep up the Awesome work so so looking forward to the next series. also glad you both tick one more thing of your bucket list, fantastic work! cant wait till you next ADVENTURE !!!!!! ??????
I stumbled on your first Sainsbury’s build video by accident and loved it. I thought I’d stop watching though once you started your trip as that’s not really what I enjoy watching but nope, was glued to every episode and been going through the Aussie trip, Defender build (loved that) and now on the Euro trip. I come to find that me and my partner just love watching you guys, & your chemistry together is brilliant. My 12 year old son loves watching your vids with us too. Really happy you’re both back safely and cannot wait to see the Africa trip. Oh and I’m getting a diesel heater fitted in my van next month, did you say in a previous video that you always use Lavaner ones? The snood you mentioned, seeing your bikes in your garage, I’m surprised you not used them when riding in the cold. I use thin ones on cloudy/cool days, & thicker ones on really cold rides, I can’t be without them now. And lastly, Jon, WTF is going on with the hair? It’s a bit (lot) crap 😂😂😂 Take care, Joe & Kelly.
😂😂😂😂 thanks guys that’s lovely of you to say, yep we used the lavener pro on the Sainsbury’s build and love it, also the afterburner controller works with the lavaner pros too which is another bonus, Yeah he doesn’t wear a snood on the bike because he doesn’t go out on the bike in the cold 😂 he’s a fair weather rider, although I’m the same, 😂😂😂 I know I’ve told him about the hair 😂🤦♀️ but he doesn’t listen 🤷♀️
Thanks for the reply about the heater, I will go with that then, if it’s good enough for you both then it’s good enough for me 😁 and that’s funny ref the hair lol.
Honestly, I think you both are the most genuine people on You tube at the moment!! ♥♥♥ all your vlogs! You must bring your Sainsbury van to Canada!! Any season... we can show you all kind of wildlife, gutters and wonderful food!! Can't wait for next Saturday's vid!!
anothe reason why its important to wear the correct goggles it to prevent your eyes getting damaged by the UV light.Even though the light intensity may seem ok the uv rays are also reflected from the snowy surroundings. In servere cases the eyes may start to feel gritty and has the potental to damage the cornea. In the same way as welders wear dark glasses not only to shield their eyes from the bright light . That is why welders can get ARC eyes which is also caused by UV rays. Thanks for a brilliant series and as a side the correct way to put the toilet roll onto the holder Cheers for now and look forward to the next video
Gonna say! You can't sell the van! It's an absolute beauty, you've both done such an awesome job on it. I loved the build and the adventures. Said it before and I'll say it again - sprinter 4x4 running gear - come on Jon, think of the tools!
Glad to hear you're safely back, studded tyres are in my opinion the best, by Nokia or another reputable make. We have two sets of rims, one for summer and one for winter, and then you just swap them over.
Yeah a few people have said that too, I think if you live there this is a brilliant way to do it, problem for people coming over like us is it’s say £1000 for maybe a couple of weeks travel to not be able to use the tyres anywhere else, would be good to see how much rental would be 😁👍
Before you do whatever is next for the Sprinter a short week or two in Ireland, similar to the Scotland trip, would be a nice idea. Wonderful country and people.
Re the loo roll saga - I'm halfway through the Aussie series (and am loving it), but I did happen to notice that Jess sticks her kitchen roll up the right way 😎😎
what a great video with so much information about costs etc. Really interesting, thanks for collecting all that data, much more hard work than you would think
Good to see your back in Good Ol Norfolk. A very enjoyable adventure for us on the other side of the screen. When you look at other holiday experiences that last only a couple of weeks. Your overall costs don’t look too bad when you take into account the time you spent away. Good to hear that you’re keep the old girl for future Epic Adventures.
That’s what we think mate, you could spend that on a 2 week all inclusive so was happy with the costs really especially as the Nordics are quite expensive 👍
Great trip. You probably know it, but if you've never watched C90 adventures and their Canada coast to coast in the winter it's well worth a watch. Take care out there.
Great video guys and Jess we forgive you over the bog roll wars lol me and the wife have so enjoyed your last 8 weeks antics it gave us something to look forward too and shall be on your next trip kepp up doing what you do and as always stay safe
Absolutely brilliant both of are such lovely funny kind caring people, I have really enjoyed watching from start to finish with your adventures to the Artic in your Great Sainsbury’s conveyed mobile home, all the money you have spent was well worth it, you are one of the best RUclips has to offer as it is the sense of humour you both bring to all of your lovely content, all the effort you done in providing us all with such great iconic breathtaking scenery of all the lovely cold countries from Norway, Sweden, Finland etc is just awesome! I look forward to seeing what you have planned next! 😊
Love the openness about everything, very useful for people who actaully plan to travel! Jon I'm surprised that you haven't really worn a snood before being into bikes! I wear one most of the year but I do ride all year all weather. After all the standard safety gubbins it's probably my top rated bit of riding kit. I even wear a thin one in the summer if it's not too hot to stop my neck getting burnt (gingers and the sun have a troubled relationship 😂)
So pleased you mentioned the hair I don’t think I broke eye contact with it the whole time 😂 Absolutely love watching you guys, so done to earth and funny
Thanks so much for taking the time to break your trip down! Really nice to see the reflection on highs and lows! Also! Great to see John embracing the mullet! although after all the palarva with the TP, you would think he'd be growing a beard 🤣 He's got it all backwards 😉
When are y’all headed to the ole US of A? Be sure to visit the southeast, enjoy the southern hospitality. Love to see your reaction to our little country. Y’all hilarious . And I’m with Jess, who gives a tickers fern which way the tp rolls off, as long as there isn’t a dry cob when you look over.
Travelling in Norway takes a long time in Summer too - well worth it though, I think the scenery is even more stunning in Summer. We found fuel and food very expensive in Norway, but the ferries very reasonable.
Awesome trip guys loved watching your antic which was funny. Poor Jon clearly he is a beaten man 100 % on his side with the bog roll offence 😂😂😂 looking forward to the next adventure ❤❤
I''ve never used them but you can get all terrain tires that are stud capable. you buy the studs separately and would install them or uninstall them as needed. the General Grabber ATX tires come to mind. would probably take couple hours though to install them.
Brilliant video as always!! Love the camaraderie and comedy between you two. Looking forward to seeing the next video and your exciting news!! You must have read my mind as thinking of doing RUclips as possibly having to give up my current job due to sight loss. Hope all is well and have a great weekend, take care
@@truebluetravellers unfortunately it is ab ongoing battle. Lost my central vision in my right eye 4 tears ago and then a week ago, on the left eye I nearly lost all of my sight. Due to a problem with the retina caused by a gene disorder. Have got some sight back but still a worry and an on a lot of medication at the no. Due back at moorfields eye hospital Monday week for another injection. Into the eye. Yes the videos are cheering me up but, trying to remain as positive as can be. Hope all is well on your end and I hope you both have a great weekend too. Don't let the general tell you that you can't buy any more tools John
And there's me keeping a lookout for your van here in Stockholm...and now you're back home! Had a wonderful time following your exploits around Scandinavia and look forward to seeing what you get up to in North Africa. (I spent almost 2 years in Libya) Morocco might be a good start, but can get chilly up in the Atlas mountains! Did i hear correctly that John was born in Celle? I was born in Hannover but lived 8 years in Celle...loved it! Relax now, but only for a few weeks😅
I wish born in rinteln but lived in celle for a few years, absolutely loved it, my dad was in the army, we stopped off on the way though on our adventures to see the old barracks etc, was crazy 😁👍
That was a great holiday I had with you guys , enjoyed every moment , the scenery was unreal , you guys are so lucky to be so close to so many countries that you can drive to. Look forward to Africa in the Landy . Aus
Brilliant start to the vlog 😂 I hope Jon realises thats like a jackpot lottery win, getting the better half to admit they were wrong ( something Ive yet to achieve in 38 years of marriage). I see Jess made herself feel better straight after by giving Jon that Frankie Howard haircut, thats savage! 😂😂😂 Thankyou both for the stunning ❄️Arctic circle ❄️series, your best yet 👏🏻👍🏻
love watching your videos and my Husband was born in reintln too but moved as a baby so doesnt remember it, His Dad was stationed there with the army. I would love to build my own camper and travel round Germany one day.
Yeah it’s a brilliant place for campers in Germany they are very accommodating for them, since going to rinteln I’ve learnt that quite a few people were born there, before this I’d never met anyone who even knew where the place was 😂
I love you two! I am just so glad I subscribed when i did! I have 16 of your earlier videos to watch. I loved watching when you built your defender camper! i love it! But I am still with jess about the toilet rolls though lol And Jon, I love your new hair cut! See you both next Saturday xx
Glad you're both back, safe and well. I worked out your MPG's with your total miles with the costs and it works out 23 MPG's. That's going off the average cost of a litre of diesel being, £1.50.
Yeah we were going to try and work out the mpg but with the diesel heater and the pre heater also running off the main tank, so yeah probably 23-25 maybe 👍👍
Perhaps if you hadn't used the heater, not that you couldn't, 😀 in different circumstances maybe 27-28 mpg's. It's still good at 23, fully laden too, don't forget! Box on wheels isn't the most aerodynamic, 😀. I'd call it a win!@@truebluetravellers
Hi Jess and Jon. Glad u got home safely. We're still working on our sainsbury conversion. How many miles has yours done now. Can't wait to hear what plans u have with it. What do u think it's worth and where would u market it too. Just thinking about ours in future. Looking forward to seeing your next video. Take care both. Best wishes David and Beverley Norfolk
Hi guys, hope it’s coming on well, the mileage is now just over 100k I think, we were going to list it for £35k and think we probably would of got that for it considering what’s selling at the minute and what we sold out last 2 sprinters for 👍
HI. Thanks for the information. 35k sounds a huge amount, not saying your van isn't nice because it is fantastic. Who would you market it to. Be interested to know. Maybe I'll go into the van conversion business. Have u sold your white lwb sprinter. Enjoy Africa. Best wishes David and Beverley. Watch out for things that hiss in the night, and I don't mean Jon
@@davesdaze 😂😂😂, I would list on eBay and Facebook market place, we had 2 previous mwb sprinters which we sold for £37k and £34k, the £37k one only had 40k miles tho and a/c, It might not sell for £35k but I’m pretty confident it would as if you priced up getting this build done with all the fabrication work too like paint, crawl through, roof rack, Jerry can holders etc etc it would soon be well over £35k 😁👍
Another entertaining vid, thanks Jess & Jon! And it's great to see you back safely, enjoying life's little luxuries. Not a cheap trip, but certainly not as expensive as using regular transport and accommodation. Plus, you had the freedom and flexibility to determine exactly where you went and for how long. And what an adventure! Looking forward to next week's installment, hoping to see more lunacy, and a proper TTT segment! ❤
Thanks guys, yeah that’s what we think, if we priced up hotels etc it would be a lot more expensive, he’s already been going on about his triple t 🤦♀️😂😂 💙
It was a great pleasure to follow the both of you on this trip. Amazing footage, fun and... very informative. From the building of the Van up till the wrap-up. Thank you so much to share this with us. Hope your next challenge will follow soon.. 😀. Now very curious what the next plan is with the Sainsbury Van!
Hi Guys, realy sad to see that the Adventure is over. I´ve got a feeling what your surprise is about the Sainsbury Van. But whats the next Project? Keep them coming though, Saturday mornings with J+J has become like a Ritual....... Thanks for inviting us though on this epic Trip. ♥
Thanks Mike, we are looking for the next project as we speak but struggling to find something that we want, got plenty of ideas but not much for sale at the minute it seems
Well done on a fantastic trip! Likewise so regret not making it all the way to Nordcap, ( got as far as Narvik),a couple of hundred k's short! It was spring 1985' in vw camper van , oh the memories. A highlight for us was Svartisan glacier!
Love hearing stories like this, I was born in december 1985 so just crazy to think you were doing this before I was born, I’d love to time travel back to these times, but take all the luxuries of the camper with me tho 😂👍
Fab video. Another top tip. Hubby said take a short 4 outlet extension then u only need one travel adapter but can charge or use 4 outlets. But not 4 hairdryers 😂😂 Sorry John, not liking the hair, but then I'm not a mullet fan! 😂 Look forward to next week ❤❤
So pleased you are keeping the Sainsbury van :) Such a real joy to travel with you x
Thanks for coming with us 😁😁😁

😂😂😂 thanks very much, i said he looks a bit like a monk too 😂😂 a naked monk doing a snow angel, now there’s a thought
Started watching when you guys started the Sainsbury’s van conversation, it’s about time I caught up from the start………. Wish me luck, hopefully the banter is on a par with the last few months.
😂😂😂😂 thanks for watching, you will feel a bit warmer watching our past adventures 😁👍
Another cracking Saturday video from the two J’s.
Thanks very much 😁😁😁😁💙
What a cracking way to start the weekend. Thank you for the entertainment. ❤🎉
Thanks for all the support as usual 😊💙
I have seen all the content on the net ( well, almost :-) ), but you are absolutely the kings.
On top, I have a few tools myself ( an euphemism, of course ) only four welding machines, for instance,( but in the process of acquiring at least two more this autumn, a good MIG and, for sure, a very good TIG. My wife knows nothing).
I counted my spanner sets, Jon wins, I only have eight, or so. 🙂
And I can go on like this for hours, but I will spare you..
@@truebluetravellers thank you so much! 😊
That’s brilliant, firstly that these are of some help to you and also that your off on the adventure, it’s going to be incredible 😁👍
Your channel is better than the travel shows on mainstream TV, I'm amazed you've not got ten times the subscribers you currently have. Binge worthy viewing faw sure!
Thanks Ben 👍👍
Thank you / Diolch yn fawr, both. It's been great coming along for the ride.
Already looking forward to N Africa and in one of the greatest vehicles to be born 👍🏼
Thanks mate, yep we can’t wait to get going 😁👍
You two are a hoot! Suggestion: (not that you asked) Flip your blinds to where the black out one comes from the bottom instead of the top. By doing this, you (Jess) can have some privacy but still let light in.
Love that idea 👌 thanks for the tip
Thanks!
This is so very generous of you. Thank you so much, we really appreciate it 💙
So glad you had an amazing time. Love you both as a couple, how a real relationship should be. Ups, downs and lots of banter 😅
Thanks mate 😁👍
Thanks for taking us along with you on this trip, what fantastic memories you have made and shared....so glad to hear you're keeping the van, shes done you proud 😊❤

Great trip guys loved watching the van development then your trip. Drone & camera views was amazing quality, thank you.
Thanks very much mate 👍👍
Hi 😊 I live in the north of Scotland & have travelled many times to Europe in my van to have fun in the snow with my siberian huskies.
Doing what you do looks great fun, but also a lot of hard work. I wish you well on your future adventures!
I started following you when I seen the sainsbury van conversion. Really enjoyed watching what you did with it.
Never realised you had a defender conversion, I'm now off to check that out.
Really enjoying my Saturday morning watching your you tube videos, & especially the added on mistakes at the end was fun to see 😁
All the best Mike
Thanks very much Mike that’s much appreciated ☺️💙
Such a fun adventure, thanks for the complete transparency in costs and thoughts - can't wait for what is next
Thanks 😁😁👍
Absolutely love you too you’re my favourite RUclipsrs of all time what a fantastic series I can’t wait for more❤
Thanks very much 😁😁👍
Most excellent! And top tips.
And well done for showing what us chaps have to suffer in order to guarantee pancakes for breakfast outside of the religious festival. 😷
Warts and all tv.
The thing with haircuts is that if you wait long enough, it will come into fashion.. so all is not lost..
Superb, Team Blue.
Happy travels 👍

Yeah that’s one way for sure, that’s what our friends did 👍 thanks mate 😁👍👍
@@truebluetravellers it'll mean extra weight and using more fuel but would mean you're ready for anything the arctic circle or other similar tundra can throw at you on your next adventure
Hi guys, Im Matti from tunturiflow! Keep up with a good vids! About the tires, studded tires are only option in north.,all terrain ones does not work.
As they teach us in driving school: A cat can climb a tree without claws, but a cat that keeps its claws in a tree does not fall down! ;)
Hi mate good to hear from you and thanks for watching 👍👍, love that little saying about the cat 👌👍
Another superb vlog and a great way to recap the details of your trip. Thanks again for sharing and bring on your next adventure. The Landy to North Africa sounds awesome.
Thanks very much mate, can’t wait to get going 😁👍
as always, Awesome Awesome Awesome but can i say i have enjoyed the whole series thoroughly For the past 3 months watching all the build/upgrade of the Sainsbury van.

@@truebluetravellers as I said keep at the good work looking forward into your next adventure and build good luck to you both
I stumbled on your first Sainsbury’s build video by accident and loved it.
It’s a bit (lot) crap 😂😂😂
Take care, Joe & Kelly.
😂😂😂😂 thanks guys that’s lovely of you to say,
yep we used the lavener pro on the Sainsbury’s build and love it, also the afterburner controller works with the lavaner pros too which is another bonus,
Yeah he doesn’t wear a snood on the bike because he doesn’t go out on the bike in the cold 😂 he’s a fair weather rider, although I’m the same,
😂😂😂 I know I’ve told him about the hair 😂🤦♀️ but he doesn’t listen 🤷♀️
Thanks for the reply about the heater, I will go with that then, if it’s good enough for you both then it’s good enough for me 😁 and that’s funny ref the hair lol.
Glad to see you guys are home safe can’t wait for the next adventure brilliant vlog as always enjoy your time at home ❤
Thanks very much mate 😁💙
Welcome back. What am I going to do on a Saturday morning. A rerun of the trip,. Great videos & commentary. Excellent.

Another great vlog, glad the Beards not Mullets coment went down well, i'll look forward to the next adventure. Paul
😂😂😂 yep love it, thanks mate 👍👍
The best shows always have some great bloopers. Great deal of info in this, I have really enjoyed your Nordic travels series, well done.
Thanks mate 😁👍
Honestly, I think you both are the most genuine people on You tube at the moment!! ♥♥♥ all your vlogs! You must bring your Sainsbury van to Canada!! Any season... we can show you all kind of wildlife, gutters and wonderful food!! Can't wait for next Saturday's vid!!
Thanks very much Angelina that’s so kind of you to say 🥰💙 Canada would be an amazing trip to do for sure 😁
anothe reason why its important to wear the correct goggles it to prevent your eyes getting damaged by the UV light.Even though the light intensity may seem ok the uv rays are also reflected from the snowy surroundings.
Thanks very much mate 💙Very good point, we took Sunnies too because we’ve heard of people going snow blind.
Gonna say! You can't sell the van! It's an absolute beauty, you've both done such an awesome job on it. I loved the build and the adventures. Said it before and I'll say it again - sprinter 4x4 running gear - come on Jon, think of the tools!
😂😂😂😂 there’s a whole kit on eBay 🤔🤔😂👍
@@truebluetravellers you know it makes sense!! build vids, tool reviews..... it's almost and investment.. 🤔🤣

Thanks very much 😁
Well another great vlog some great info great series can’t wait for the next journey thanks guys
Thanks mate 😁👍
Definitely got to get to Ireland at some point, Jon want to go for the nw200 too
Fabulous trip. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching 😁👍
Re the loo roll saga - I'm halfway through the Aussie series (and am loving it), but I did happen to notice that Jess sticks her kitchen roll up the right way 😎😎
😂😂😂 it’s a lottery with her which way she puts it on, sometimes right sometimes wrong, one word… savage
You two make me laugh so much. Thank you. Your honesty is so refreshing compared to some YT channels. Now, bring on the Defender 😂
Thanks very much 😁😁💪
what a great video with so much information about costs etc. Really interesting, thanks for collecting all that data, much more hard work than you would think
Thanks very much 😁👍
Good to see your back in Good Ol Norfolk.
I've enjoyed my trip with you 2 comedian's 😂 😂and looking forward to the next journey 👍🫶
😂😂 thanks mate 😁👍
Great trip. You probably know it, but if you've never watched C90 adventures and their Canada coast to coast in the winter it's well worth a watch.
Take care out there.
I’ve not heard of that to be honest so I’ll check it out, thanks for the recommendation 👍
Fantastic series, guys. Thanks so much for all the entertainment over the past two months, and of course, the amazing pictures. 👏 👍

Thanks very much mate we really appreciate your lovely message 🥰💙
Love the openness about everything, very useful for people who actaully plan to travel! Jon I'm surprised that you haven't really worn a snood before being into bikes! I wear one most of the year but I do ride all year all weather. After all the standard safety gubbins it's probably my top rated bit of riding kit. I even wear a thin one in the summer if it's not too hot to stop my neck getting burnt (gingers and the sun have a troubled relationship 😂)
😂😂😂😂👍, yeah I’m a fair weather rider so normally don’t need one on the bike but i right give I a go actually even when warm 👍
Really looking forward to the Defender getting a run.
Thanks us too 😁

Thanks so much for taking the time to break your trip down! Really nice to see the reflection on highs and lows! Also! Great to see John embracing the mullet! although after all the palarva with the TP, you would think he'd be growing a beard 🤣 He's got it all backwards 😉
😂😂😂😂 he was threatening to grow both 🤦♀️
Top travel tip be as organized as you two 😀
😂💙 thanks mate, doesn’t always feel as organised as I’d like but thank you 😀
When are y’all headed to the ole US of A? Be sure to visit the southeast, enjoy the southern hospitality. Love to see your reaction to our little country. Y’all hilarious . And I’m with Jess, who gives a tickers fern which way the tp rolls off, as long as there isn’t a dry cob when you look over.
😂😂😂😂 would love to get to the states one day, and the south is definitely te place I’d love to go most 😁👍
Travelling in Norway takes a long time in Summer too - well worth it though, I think the scenery is even more stunning in Summer. We found fuel and food very expensive in Norway, but the ferries very reasonable.
Yep we definitely would love to go back in the summer and see it all 😊
Awesome trip guys loved watching your antic which was funny. Poor Jon clearly he is a beaten man 100 % on his side with the bog roll offence 😂😂😂 looking forward to the next adventure ❤❤
😂😂😂 I’m glad it can be seen that I’m the poor soul in the relationship 😂😂😂
I''ve never used them but you can get all terrain tires that are stud capable. you buy the studs separately and would install them or uninstall them as needed. the General Grabber ATX tires come to mind. would probably take couple hours though to install them.
Yeah I’ve seen a few people do this recently so it’s definitely something I’m going to look into 👍👍
Brilliant video as always!! Love the camaraderie and comedy between you two. Looking forward to seeing the next video and your exciting news!! You must have read my mind as thinking of doing RUclips as possibly having to give up my current job due to sight loss.
Hope all is well and have a great weekend, take care
Thanks Peter, sounds like your in the wars mate, hope your all better from last week mate, hopefully the video is of some help to you 😁👍

Yeah it’s a brilliant place for campers in Germany they are very accommodating for them,
since going to rinteln I’ve learnt that quite a few people were born there, before this I’d never met anyone who even knew where the place was 😂

Thanks Tracey, we are the right ones for sure 💪😁😊💙
@dave6445 yep have to agree with you there mate 👍
@@davesdaze 😂😂😂, I would list on eBay and Facebook market place, we had 2 previous mwb sprinters which we sold for £37k and £34k, the £37k one only had 40k miles tho and a/c,
It might not sell for £35k but I’m pretty confident it would as if you priced up getting this build done with all the fabrication work too like paint, crawl through, roof rack, Jerry can holders etc etc it would soon be well over £35k 😁👍
