I recently acquired a Numark Scratch mixer which comes with an innofader, the responsiveness and smoothness of the cross fader persuaded me to upgrade the cross fader on both my Pioneer SX2 and Numark NS7II to innofaders mini and pro 2 respectively. This small upgrade has significantly improved the quality of my scratches across all devices compared to stock faders, my gear feels fresh and relevant...a worth while investment suited to my needs. I just got a Numark Scratch mixer and realize my old CP Pro crossfader on my Numark DXM09 mixer was better. Should I just get the PNP2 (for scratching)?
The 70 and the Elite look dope, but I have a hard time justifying that much money for a mixer. Especially when there's production gear I have my eyes on too
I've installed inofaders on almost everything I've owned except for my Rane 57mk2, 72mk2, & S9.... I just installed one in my Traktor S4mk3 last night & mannnnnn it's a huge difference. A lot more usable now
As smooth as it goes. I’ve installed the PNP 3 and only play house stuff. The cut in and curve are effective to the absolute nano fraction. A&H Xone 43 set to flattest curve and those big new pot dials set to a tee. It’s a fiddly job and looking after your mixer is the #1
I’ve had in innofader on my old school Vestax PmC 07 for many years ... still buttery smoothe as ever .. Think it’s time I replace Rane fader on my 62 with innofader !
I use the same innofader pro 2 in one of my z2's. My other z2 has an innofader mini plus. I also fitted an innofader mini plus in my Numark scratch. Previously used innofader in my old ns7iii and Roland 808 controllers. They are truly great faders, but I all honesty, if I owned a rane seventy, I would definitely just use the stock fader. I have a ttm57 which has the stock rane fader which is older than 10 years and it still cuts beautifully....I can only imagine the rane seventy is even better.
Once I used and got used to an Innofader, it was hard to switch back to an OEM option.. I recently purchased a used Rane TTM 57 mixer to rid myself of the SL1 box that I was using with my Dj tech mixer, which came with the mini Innofader crossfader stock. I personally prefer the Innofader over the TTM 57 crossfader.
Stock fader on most of my mixers because with any innofader model pro 2 pnp 2 ect it pops/jitters right before the sound comes in it happens on both on the left and right side of the fader
Cleveland man after much consideration I FINALLY pulled the trigger on the Rane 70. I appreciate all your in depth reviews when you confirmed phase works with the 70s USB hub that sold it for me. I cancelled my Rane One preorder because at the root i love 2 turntables and s mixer. Literally because of you I made the purchase I hope these companies show u some kind financial compensation as an influencer. For me it came down to the quality of Rane, Cleveland reviews, and AGIPRODJ.com 15% off!

Hey Cleveland....I just coped the Rane 70 and I find that the Mag fader doesn't give you the crisper cut for the crab scratch that I'm looking for.....I thought it was just me but the innofader is the best... So I will be purchasing one
The Rane 70/72 Innofader works in the Rane One with modification. Innofader has a direct link on their website to purchase it from from audioinnovate. I have the rane 70 Atrak, I love the mixer but the mag 4s just feel too light and cheap IMO, I ended up installing an innofader pro 2 in my ecler mixer and loved the feel of it so i thought i need to get one of these in my 70, just ordered the pnp 3 rane 70 specific fader, i know it will make the mixer perfect now
Best thing i did to my rane 72 the mag 3 feels chalky and dry unlike the silky smooth innofader. Shame as the last rane i owned was a ttm57 the faders were a class unrivaled back in the day.
yes still on stock fader here for the 72, had to reteach myself how to scratch as it just felt soooo different, innofader crossfader has been on the shopping list for some time!
I would love to know if we can also change the faders in the Rane One. No only the cross fader which is also a Mag Four but also the upfaders because they are definitely not smooth enough.
I tried the mag 4 the other day and HATED it. The cut in wasn't as sharp, everything felt kinda sloppy.. The feel sucks (to me). I have the PNP2 in my Mixars Duo, and it's legit the best fader I've ever touched since the innofader 1. Welcome to the Innofader family! Innofader for life.
Has anyone installed an innofader on the line channel on the Rane 72 and does it require the special brackets as needed for the xfader? I know the bracket and stem is for the board that is in the way but is the same configuration required for the lines as well?
Man your scratches hella advance from the first scratch video you posted i seen a few months ago. And yes i love the innofader also, i have the pro2 on my z2 i cut back in fourth with the s11 and z2 and 57, but the innofader just feels good.
I realize this is all subjective and to each their own opinion. I owned the s11 for a year and sold it not too long ago. It had Great effects of course but it felt way too cheap and plastic for my liking and I wasn’t crazy about the fader. I wanted to try the Rane 70 and absolutely love this mixer and everything about it, but again that’s just my opinion.
those glowtronic slip mats are dope, love mine. I gotta get the inno in my 70, the mag 4 is junk in my opinion, the cut in just isn't as sharp and it's clunky af!

when you install the innofader, do you still keep the possibilty of adjusting the tension with the external knob? Or do you loose that?

Got Inno to replace the Mag3 on my 72Mk1 and there's absolutely no comparison, no-brainer upgrade.
Is it really a "no-brainer" when Innofaders are notorious for bleeding and my 10+ year old Rane has never had a second of audio bleed?

The Mini Innofader in the Numark Scratch has not the sharpest Curve. You can put also a Mini Innofader Pro in it.
