I've been looking for official Rane Seventy content for months while waiting on my mixer to ship. This video doesn't show in the basic search. The search algorithms on this topic must be way off. This video should have 50k views. Also, this video and the Serato sponsored video are the best tutorial videos to watch. The others are basically Namm gear spotlight vids.
Unboxed mine on Saturday. This thing is flawless and built like a TANK. Now I just wish I had not already purchased serato pro and DVS prior to purchase!
I'm really wanting a 3 channel mixer, so I can do accapellas and to have the ability to have 3 tables going. Can I use a CDJ connected usb to the laptop, then the rca's out to the Seventy Session, then use the Session knob as a fader? Also how would I use decks 1 & 2 on the Seventy and the CDJ as deck 3 in Serato?
#1) excellent class on all features of the Rane 70, this is literally the only video i've found so far on youtube that thoroughly covers every separate feature that is available in the Mixer. you went a lil bit too fast but thats cool, I rewinded certain parts over and over again to make sure I understood what u were trying to convey. meantime I just bought one of these Battle Mixers for 1bout 1,499$ + tax i'm waiting for it to be shipped as we speak. I use the Rane 12 MKII platters and I have some good quality E.V speakers etc. but I needed a dedicated battle style mixer that was reliable.. powerful feature Rich, and classy looking and also DURABLE for gigging work.. transport in and out of the van and lots of use at parties/ weddings/ gig's event's. etc.. i've heard 90% good things about the Rane 70 so that's good because Rumors spread quickly in the D.J. community about a product that isn't what it claims it is. so i'm hoping this Rane 70 is what I have heard it is. a good quality mixer that can tolerate gig work on a semi/ pro level.. 1,499$ is a good amount of money to spend on gear/ hardware so any D.J. is gonna want to get his or her moneys worth for that kind of expense.
The only part I don't understand is the bit at 14.12 where you mention the deck swap switch on the front panel, I can't see where that is. Great overview though, thanks.
SCRATCH BANK IS HERE for the SEVENTY!! Check out ruclips.net/video/XVKt_Ut_dvQ/видео.html

This is the video I needed. Can't believe I was unable to find it through search. But had to get it as a suggested video 9 months later.
Is the session out the same as the rca master output on other mixers?

Please add slicer to replace one of the user mode performance pads on the future firmware update... missed that feature!!
Does anyone know how you can assign a button on the Rane 70 to switch between Absolute & Relative mode? Thank you in advance for any help
14:10 I don't see a deck swap switch on my Rane 70. Do one of the controls on the front panel double as a deck swap switch perhaps?
The Deck Swap feature/switch is only available on the SEVENTY-TWO and SEVENTY-TWO MKII, not on the SEVENTY.
I need rane twelve where I can get it and cost it's me baraka Wilson from Nairobi Kenya
