My harmonica holder has a special kazoo clip on the side so I can play both . Can’t find another these days
Look, I am no expert, but I think this guy deserves a lot of credit for his rhythm guitar playing. It is an underated skill and he does throw in a lot of little variations to keep it interesting.

Saw these two in Skipton today (10th Dec 2017)... gosh they are awesome live. The snow was falling and the crowds weren't paying any attention... they didn't even get a round of applause... and yet it was probably the best live music I've heard in ages.... I would've clapped but one hand was full of mulled wine... and the sound of one hand clapping?... well, you know. Awesome though. Will hunt them down to watch them play again :)

Hi there, no it's just a pretty cheap woodblock I got in ebay as it's got a couple of screws through the back of it to attach it to the board so I didn't want to use a nice old one! Sounds pretty good though!

How does the washboard player keep his thimbles secure on the tips of his fingers. I have to duck tape mine on and they fit well, but if I didnt tape'em the rigorous activity would send them flying.

Phree Speech They’re very thin metal. Just squeeze them until they fit without hurting. Some people stitch guitar fingerpicks to gloves as another way. 🎯

The whistle thingy is a Kazoo its not a whistle. You hum into it, not blow.
NADAVER 👌🏻👌🏻 the guitar is a 'National'. Dobro is another brand that grew out of National in the 1930s after some brothers fell out over business.

What Microphone are you using: I see you are at Tenby this year.
Chris Corr Tenby should be fun. Malcolm runs a good festival! We recorded this with a Golden Age Project R1 Ribbon Microphone. Nice kit but needs a decent preamp with +70DB of gain. We have a pair of R3's now which work of phantom power. Bit cleaner sounding but still definitely have the vintage ribbon sound.

Is the washboard a toy?
Nope. An old kitchen implement that became popular in the Hokum movement of the 1920s and Skiffle of the 1950s.
