There's a bit more leniency for a non-NHRA sanctioned event especially an import one like this where there's basically no car counts. We've been attending this track for over 20 years, the staff knows we're not bringing unsafe cars. That being said, it is racing, anything can happen, and it could happen fast. We go to the track with the knowledge and understanding that we're responsible for anything that happens. I would never ever advocate someone take a car to a track without safety. That being said 150+ on our track without a chute isn't particularly dangerous. The cage is far more important.
Ken's car had the same set of axles on t he car for 5 years. Pat has used the same axles across multiple chassis. Which axle would you invest in for under $1000 for a car that goes to 2-4 small events a year?
