Hey, dude! I was in the race with you. It was my first race so I was really curious about how it would play out. Came in at 4th in Cat D. Was really impressed by your performance!
Thanks man! 😎 Congrats on your first race!! 4th is awsome! The thing is, its really hard to race in the races where all categories start at the same time. Then we can jump on the faster train and hold on for dear life 🤣 You did amazing for racing your first ever race dude!!!
@@guyhunter4181 I am slowly getting there myself. But intervals and zone 2 i think is the way. Endurance makes everything hurt less and makes us more efficient!
Great ride to come in second. Always tricky in a mass cat start as people sneak off in the draft of the higher cats. The trick for me is not to burn too many matches trying to keep up so I can still race to the end and have some fun. Sometimes tou can latch onto a B cat coming through and catchmup again. Love it. 🤩
Heheh yeah! Its fun but its so caotic! And difficult to tell who is in your race category.. so i usually burn way to much following some cat D riders too long lol🤣🥵
@Norwegianwatts Oh man I totally feel ya! I've did many lonely trip during my weight loss journey, you can do it! 120lb's down and now almost an A level racer!
@@user-ti9zc1xv2b that sounds like a reasonable amount! I am going to race a couple of races per week from the new year. But more important i will do 300km per week. To build endurance to the summer time. Cant wait!
Great effort. It's not easy to stay away when you're alone like that.
Thanks! no.. that was a session and a half!😰

Great effort, especially with a lot of time solo, way to keep working and congratulations on the podium.
Thanks man! The podium caught me by surprise lol🤣 that was a great xmas bonus
I am trying so hard to get those and keep those power numbers like you do. Great effort
Thanks man! Are you thinking about the short bursts i have or the avg watt?
The average watts. Can't seem to get over that 2.1 watts per.

My god!! Thats my plan too🔥😍 how much do you train now then?
@Norwegianwatts About 4-8 hours of structured training a week man, 80% zone 2 and the rest VO2 max!
