Love your program , the first time I been to Portugal was 2019, fall in love magically ! During the Pandemic year, I could not travel , now I m counting the time to go back . Thank you for your program.
I agree, being just 3 to 5 days is not enough. I once went to Hawaii for 5 days and I didn't feel like I connected fully!! Once again you're proving to be a great natural storyteller. Great job. Keep it up! What a video!!
Oh good, Hawaii for 5 days! I'd go there for a month! 😁 Thank you so much for the wonderful words. So happy to hear you enjoyed this Algarve episode! There's more. 😊🙌
Thank you! And so glad to hear that -- you should definitely visit Portugal. It's so underrated, and there's so many diverse regions around despite the size of this country. 😊
Ah, makes me want to travel to Algarve ASAP! The house & the beaches looks so dreamy.. I am totally up for slow travel 😍 Thank you for inspiring Janz!!
More slow travel, please! And I can't wait to go back to Algarve again. I mean, it's not that far from Lisbon haha. Hope we can go for an adventure trip someday! Or I'll come and visit you in Scandinavia! Sending you the biggest hugs! 💛
I always try my best to make an entertaining and yet soulful video. I'm glad you enjoyed this adventure episode! Love slow travel, and that's a good principle to have. 💛
Janz Anton-Iago - I think I learned that from my parents! We did a lot of road-trips to destinations... I’d rather drive, than fly (although I did work in the airline industry a few careers ago, and I do love flying), but when you drive you can stop at any time to experience life ‘in the moment’. Is the journey the destination? Is the destination the journey? Either way, works. I cannot imagine spending 7 days on a bus, seeing 10 counties and 15 cities. Not the life for me. I always want to live like a local and experience the real culture, the real history and the real people... in their time and on their terms!
@@JenShea This is the pure experience of travelling. To be able to have the control to stop, look, feel, breathe and live the environment. I'm completely with you on this. It's also very sustainable to travel this way!
So beautiful! Can you link where you stayed? Those white houses remind me of Santorini. We'll be in Portugal in January and now you have me rethinking our itinerary since slow travel sounds amazing. So far we have, landing in Lisbon and then driving to Algarve and staying for 5 days. Then driving back up to Lisbon and staying for the next 5 days. We'll visit Cascais and Sintra. Silver Coast, Coimba and Porto were a maybe but will have to wait until the next trip since slow travel is the goal. Any advice? Should we save The Algarve for next visit and just stay up north?
Slow travel is the only way to go from my perspective. I have never understood why anyone would want to do those "10 countries in 15 days" kind of tours, or how that was even relaxing. I've always tried to find a base that I travel out from. My goal was to experience the life, not just look at it in passing.
Ahhhh what about a video 'In the mood for Coimbra?!' 😉 or any other small town in Central Portugal, really!! I've made an introduction video about Coimbra a couple of weeks ago, but I must confess a drone would help my videos improve so much. Next purchase for sure. Great one about Algarve 👌loved it!
Thank you , Vikas! Appreciate that! Regarding subtitles, you should be able to turn on RUclips captions on the lower-right side in the button functions!
I beg you … could you kindly post more about your Tesla experience in Portugal ? I’m about to buy a model Y from Lisbon, but it’s hard to find Tesla owners here to discuss the practicalities.
Hello, LOVE your videos, very well done, I am a new subscriber to your channel and would LOVE to see a video on " Madeira Portugal " Also a series on the best cities to retire to in Portugal for expats.
I'm glad to be able to inspire! My decision to move here was made out of a life-changing circumstance, and I'm glad it happened. I suppose establishing an online business is a good start. The beginning of your own freedom. 🙂
I have a Philippino wife from Talikud Island we are retiring to our beach front property on Samal Island. We went on holiday in Portugal last Christmas to escape the cold and dark British winter. I was with one of my daughter's, Crysantha, at the shrine at Fatima and it just dawned on me I felt at home and safe just like I feel in the Philippines. It's a Christian thing cultures the embrace Jesus, flower, Portugal is exquisite. I am a follower of the channel Nomad Capitalist and I have come to the conclusion that I can live in multiple countries so it's going to be Portugal and the Philippines for me, pero pinaka maganda ang mga babae sa Philippinas, palagi. Mahirap ang mga videos ko Kay ang mga videos mo.
