In recent interviews he seems to have more youthful energy, he looks good, healthy, etc. In some of these interviews from the early 2010s, he looks, speaks, acts like he's 85 years old LOL.

I've noticed the same. Clearly the show was taxing on him. He looks leaner, more energetic and younger now and that's even with the beard ;)
