Thank you so very much for your excellent 2 videos concerning amscope. You really saved me a lot of time and frustration in choosing the proper setup and microscope for my watchmaking hobby! Nobody else mentions the simul-focal option and it is so very important! I will chose a similar one to your setup except, for my type of work, I will chose one with the dual sliding arms, but everything else the same.
I hope you continue to enjoy your new and better setup. I can’t thank you enough for your videos, which prevented me from buying a scope with the same problems you initially had. It says something also that Amscope stepped up and made it right for you; excellent idea to call them directly.
Your family seems nice and yes, your children should do some RUclips videos for their friends!
Last thing, and please take this as constructive criticism, you should say “Tightening” down a screw or bolt, not tying it down.
Thank you again so much for all the great information before my purchase!
The new work table/desk set up is awesome, much better, and free too!
    Cheers!

Hi, thank you for posting these videos, I have purchased the same setup and had a similar issue with the microscope head not being level, what I have just realised is that there is a screw that you can open up to help the head be level, 2:44 to the left of your finger.

Thanks man, you pretty much covered all the problem issues that ive had, eg dual vision, trinocular, reverse picture, eye pieces magnification and all the different mounting choices for the arm/camera(i will mount mine on the wall)which will reduce picture shake. You covered a lot that some others didnt eg work distance and magnification. Your work needs simiar work distance to watchmaking.
    Very much appreciated.
    Mike.🎉👍🏿👍🏼🙏

Hello, I have a question for you, do you know the model of the head they sent to you, in the Amscope page I only see one simul microscope head. Great video thank you a lot for giving us a real peek on that subject.

I’m guessing the slight difference is the amount of picture being shown is that the eyepieces are 10x and camera is going through the .35x camera adapter?

Any way you can include links or part numbers to what worked for you in the end (in regards to the microscope)?

I had to contact amscope themselves and explain what happen. They understood and allowed me to replace just tge head. The original one that I wasn't satisfied with I purchased from amazon, which I don't recommend.

I have a Amscope trinocular, and a camera. I'm looking for a little monitor for it. Maybe around a 15" or so. I dont have or use a computer, or lap top. Im just using Trinocular, camera, and a monitor. What do you recommend? Most everything out there is 21" or bigger it seems

    • @DallasAutoDiag

anything with a hdmi input. Im sure you can find many options out there. why does it have to be 15?

@DallasAutoDiag just using the monitor for close up pictures. Don't need a big screen to take up space. I do watch restoration. Take pictures to resemble the parts. Thanks for your videos helping us with your experience

I do regret my purchase of my Amscope. I didn't realize there was a different with the Simul-Focal. I didn't know there was one. I just have the trinocular with the rod to pull in, and out. I just bought it a week ago. I sure would like to have the Simul- Focal 😔

hi, can i check, for the LED ring, is it USB powered? or it has a US (2 flat leg) power plug? i'm from Singapore and i am planning to get one AMscope in the near future and our power sockets here aren't the same as US's.
