Nobody's perfect and the fact that you're using your platform to be raw and real with people, not many influencers do that❤ im thankful for you and your videos
Honestly……. Honestly. You cheating, helps me be motivated not to cheat. I don’t want to gain anything from your “failures” lol but I am. I’m sorry 😫😫😫 thank you for all of this tho. It helps more than you know!!!
When you break a diet, never get in that mindset of “now I have to start over.” Think about it like this- when you go on a road trip and you miss a turn, do you drive allll the way back home and start over? No! You keep going because it’s a JOURNEY. You’ve got this, we all know you do.
I used to ALWAYS say I'm starting over too, and my friend would say "when you get a flat tire, do you go and flatten the other 3? No, you fix the flat one and keep going". Your analogy reminded me of his. Very good advice!!
Just remember when you restrict you will binge later. You don’t need to restrict completely your fave foods. Rice, beans, salsa all are healthy options, even a sandwich and bread is okay to have you just try to make better choices and also see how you feel when your eating certain things. If your happy eating pasta and feel good then girl eat the pasta lol dress it up and find healthy ways to eat your faves :) God bless girl!! Remember your doing this not to lose weight but to feel better so focus on that!
YES THIS THANK YOU!!! Restricting only makes you binge and feel extreme guilt. Just eat what you want in smaller portions while still making effort to make healthy decisions as well and you will have great success!
yessss!!!! Colleen Christensen is my favorite for promoting intuitive eating!! hands down the only way in my opinion to have a healthy relationship with food and our bodies 😌
I love that you have a partner that genuinely loves and respects you. He supports you so much and I love the dynamic y’all have. I’m so happy for you Jaclyn.
I say this out of nothing by kindness and respect, but I sincerely think you need to speak to a dietician or nutritionist. When you've had an unhealthy relationship with food for so long it is extremely difficult to break patterns and habits on your own without the help of professionals. You have the means and resources to hire someone who can help you make better food and lifestyle choices that I really think would benefit you and anyone watching who struggles similarly to you. Its a shame to watch someone struggle needlessly when help is available. I wish you nothing but the best on your health journey!
I agree!!! It’s like seeing a therapist for mental struggles. A nutritionist is like a therapist for food! If you have the means take advantage! 🙏🏻 Wish you nothing but the best of success on your journey Jaclyn! You got this gurl! 💪🏻
I agree. I can barely watch the videos because I don’t think what she is doing is best for her. Restriction leads to binging. Everything in moderation is okay
I think if you stopped thinking of the “cheating” mindset it may help you. Like no food is morally bad. Don’t punish yourself for eating anything. If you want this to be long term, you can’t completely restrict yourself. When you eat something that doesn’t have nutritional value tell yourself “I’m eating this for my soul. I will enjoy it thoroughly. After this I’m going to nourish my body”
What are you talking about- of COURSE there are foods that are morally bad. They're just not "morally bad" in the sense that you're talking about, i.e unhealthy. Destroying the planet to indulge in your meat-eating habit is MOST DEFINITELY morally wrong.
@@purplespaceship2417 Well, at least you understood what I meant. I meant stop food guilt. Heal your relationship with food. Don’t punish yourself for eating something. Was not remotely referring to whether the food you choose is ethical or environmentally friendly.
This new direction on your channel has me feeling so motivated, and also proud of you for holding yourself accountable in front of millions of people! I know it can't be easy, but you're doing amazing jac
Not a professional but I feel like labeling food “bad” and “good” and using terms like “cheat day” is counterproductive. I feel like working with a dietician would be really beneficial. The more people restrict, the more they will binge. Eat a normal, healthy, sustainable meal that you love and you won’t have the incessant need to have “cheat days”. This is not to drag on Jaclyn at all, I wish her all the best in her journey, but she still seems to be really struggling with the best way to do this and I would hate for her to develop more bad habits out of a bad “diet.” The more you obsess about your cheat day, the more you’re saying that the daily food you eat isn’t happy or enjoyable. Eating healthy shouldn’t be depressing, it should be sustainable. It includes having treats when you feel like it, but in moderation. And that’s the main thing I saw here, absolutely no moderation. Moderation in everything, seriously.
@UCYKk0D0Df2c0Y-pNNC_LfAg the comment isnt saying she should be perfect and sustainable right away (its actually the opposite), so this has nothing to do with her “just starting.” This is a perfect method for people starting out. Its not good to go from eating whatever you want to having no carbs for a week and thats why shes struggling so much. If she allows herself a few comfort foods, but less than she used to have, this is still progress and she wont go insane. The last week’s video shows how much happier she was allowing herself to eat an ezekiel english muffin with an egg, sausage and cheese. It made her mood go up for the rest of the day and she even said it made her wanna eat “bad food” less. That one “not super healthy” meal set her up to eat better and overall her day is healthier than when she used to eat quesadillas for lunch and pasta/mac n cheese for dinner. Its all about progress rather than perfection and it would be a lot easier on her mental health
This series is making me feel like my health struggles and weight loss struggles are normal and this makes me feel great. I can’t wait for the next episode!!!
Someone once said this to me and it really stuck so I’m going to share it with you. You have to choose your “hard”. It’s ALL hard. Eating healthy is hard. Working out is hard. But you know what? Feeling like shit is hard too. Not fitting into your clothes is hard. Choose YOUR hard. You’ve got this and I love you!
it's just important to know that: 1) "healthy" food can still taste good/be flavorful, 2) once you start eating more healthy you can actually eat a ton more (volume & frequency), 3) talking to a professional can give you amazing guidance/simplify your goals
Diets never work. Willpower always runs out. It has to be a lifestyle change that is both enjoyable while honoring and respecting yourself and your body. Take that transformative leap into self-love and you will succeed!
Intuitive eating saved my relationship with food and healed my "restrict & binge" cycle I was on for YEARS! I'd encourage anyone to look it up and see the steps to healing your relationship with food. It's wayyy more in depth than just "eating whatever you want" and I'm truly grateful I went on the journey. Big love to anyone trying to heal themselves from chronic illnesses, feel more vibrant, healthy, and alive.
as someone with a chronic illness & is recovering from an eating disorder, intuitive eating all the way!! it’s completely transformed my relationship with food but slowly and over time so that the changes are sustainable 🙏🏼
I’m not gonna lie this is the kind of content Jacklyn is made for. Like I feel like I’m actually getting to know her so much better, and I fucking love it.
Jordan is doing an amazing job. It's really difficult to support someone + help keep them on track without hurting their feelings! You've got a great one Jac :)
This Dietitian APPLAUDS YOU👏👏👏 You are being REAL, it's about being able to sustain this and I'm glad you went on vaca and enjoyed yourself. The journey is not about being "perfect" it's finding your own balance as you mentioned. Loving this series!!!!!
That's what my dietitian told me! Just keep walking into the wind, it doesn't matter if you take 7 steps back for every 8 steps you move forwards, the net result still means you are further along. A lot of people seem to get demotivated by 'I could have been so much further if I hadn't taken all those steps back.' But it's about consistent progress, there's no time limit to a diet after all. Another one she told me was 'run in place for a minute, then realize you could do that 60x in an hour, that ordeal would then fit 24x in a day, and all that fits into a month 30x, which you also get 12x of a year. This demonstrates just how much time there is in a year. So even if you make small progress every day, it adds up.'
Your a dietitian and you have a dietitian, are you both from the US? Cause I’m from the UK and I’ve not heard of people having dietitian’s, I should look into it cause I’m really really struggling with losing weight, there must be dietitian’s in the UK right? I hope I find one ☺️ love both your comments btw 🥰
I disagree 100%. Make a commitment and stick to it. I haven't eaten wheat, gluten, dairy, soy, MSG, oats, alcohol, caffeine, added sugar, artificial sweetener, casein, red meat, seafood, or starchy carbs in over 10 years. I don't struggle with cravings. I don't struggle with my weight, or fatigue, or GI issues. I don't understand the "cheat" mindset. It's a lifestyle.
The vulnerability of this journey you’re sharing is incredible. Changing your eating habits is hard and being candid about the struggles and wins is encouraging. Jordan is an amazing human and I’m so glad you have him in your corner and your family and friends. You got this jaclyn!💜 progress not perfection.
I definitely feel like Jordan has his best interest at heart for you and he has some good ideas. Stop with the excuses! And push through, nothing worth having is easy!
Mindset is everything & I would not refer to meals as “cheats”, but just meals w no restrictions. That is a healthier mindset to have overall bc you won’t feel like you failed when u have one of those meals. Calling it a cheat can make it more desirable bc you’re doing something you’ve deemed as “bad”. I did lose 70 lbs w this mindset so it did work for me!
THIS. This is how the process goes and I think it’s so important to show just how hard it is. It’s HARD for me but this makes me feel motivated to do better to treat myself better too!
me too. it’s been so easy for me to try and do this journey knowing people are going through and feeling the same thing as myself i’m so happy she’s doing this
honestly this is so refreshing. usually we just see the “good parts” of a transformation or the before and after. you have no idea how good it feels to know i’m not the only one struggling in the same way you are. i’ve been trying to lose weight most of my life and seeing someone struggle the same way i do makes me feel better about my struggles. thank you for showing me not everyone’s journey is as easy and perfect as it seems
Food is not “good” or “bad” having a healthy/good relationship with food and learning that everything is okay in moderation I think would really help. It’s not helpful to have this bad relationship with food.
Yes I agree! I have such a bad relationship with food for many reasons but this mentality definitely adds to it and it’s really hard to rewire your brain
@@StoriesForSlumberASMR it is, if you eat too much of it. It’s okay to have processed foods in MODERATION. Moderation is the key to a healthy relationship with food and seeing food, as just food and not as “good” or “bad”.
yeah i really think she wouldnt struggle so much if she realized you can literally eat whatever you want as long as its under your calorie goal. this journey shes on is not sustainable at all
@@StoriesForSlumberASMR I totally agree. This all food is good nonsense is what caused me to have high cholesterol and pre diabetes in my 20s. Nothing wrong with a treat but we have to be honest with ourselves. Some foods are good and nutrient dense and others are garbage, though delicious 😋
This really shows the addictive nature of overeating. I could see Jaclyn getting a high when the food is being laid out. And it’s more difficult when you’re travelling away from home and/or socialising.
I’m concerned with the relationship you’re developing with food. I highly recommend reaching out to a professional dietitian to help create a plan for you that leaves space for the foods you enjoy! Enjoying food isn’t a punishment.
Thank you for commenting this! I agree that a dietitian would be a very healthy route because your relationship with food and eating can’t be based on “cheat” meals and restrictions 👏🏻
Actually she mentioned several times previously that is she seeing a therapist and a Dr regarding her dietary needs due to inflammation she has in her body and her relationship with food.
Don´t mean to be rude, but why don´t you hire a dietitian and a personal trainer that can actually be guiding you through the process?? I feel like having someone actually supervising you and giving you actual goals to achive might help you to teach yourself how to really have a healthy lifestyle. Learning from professionals is the best way to do things but I can also understand everyone has their own path and ways of doing things, but you should consider it, doing such big changes in your life by your own its extremely challenging! wishing you the best during your journey xx
Unless she hired them to live in with her I don’t think that they would make too much of a difference seeing as though the issue is her giving into temptation in her free time.
Yea 100% agreed. I would for sure have a trainer if i could afford it. But i can’t so I did a ton of research for myself that led me to a healthy lifestyle that eats nutritious food with treats in moderation that fuels my body to kill my workouts. She needs to find a way to a healthy lifestyle that’s not constantly binging and dieting repeatedly.
I totally agree. The right dietician and trainer will actually educate enough so she wont need to rely on it for life. But if I had that type of money, I would be paying for a ton of support at first
I feel like this video pretty much sums up what we all go through! It’s so real and you’re talking about real problems that are relatable. I’ve always struggled with my food intake and restricting myself, recovering from an ED and this video sums up my day to day life. It’s so motivating! You got this Jaclyn!!!
Jaclyn!!! I’m going through this journey with you so I really appreciate you being vulnerable enough to document this! I’ve been watching you since your best of 2013 video and I’ve loved watching you grow over the years!!! ❤️

I’m actually sobbing. I love how raw and honest you are being with this because I feel like I’m in such a similar situation. I always make excuses for myself. This is really motivating me to start my journey again too. Thank you girl and I’m proud of you.
What about hiring a personal chef? They could see what you love and plan the healthy version for you. They could give you (and us) tips on how to switch up same tastes with healthier choices.
This is such a real part of the journey to a healthier lifestyle! I went “off the rails” a few times before finding a consistent routine that was manageable for me!

This is the most relatable video ever, I feel like I do the same exact thing, eat, restrict, feel bad, eat more, and so on so forth. Thank you for keeping it real, I hope you reach your goals! I am doing it with ya babe!! xoxo
It’s so hard when you label stuff as “good” and “bad” cutting out food groups like carbs intermittently. You don’t have to cut out all these foods you label as bad. I feel like it would be much more sustainable if you just did a small calorie deficit (no more than 500 cals. So if your TDEE is 2500 you would eat 2000 calories) a calorie deficit is how we lose weight wether it’s tracked, wether you’re aware you’re doing it or not. That way you can still have foods that you are labelling as “bad” but in moderation within your calories. I lost over 100lbs doing this and now I maintain it. It’s totally possible and much easier you don’t get those massive cravings or need “cheat” all the time. You can prioritise healthy choices and whole foods but still have the stuff you love . It doesn’t have to feel that hard. I do love that you’re being real about all of it and how difficult it has been for you 🙌🏻
I love how real this is! Most people when dieting don’t show the real raw emotions, & reality of it! So thank you! Love watching your journey, and how much I can relate! You got this Jaclyn ❤️
It must be so hard to deal with cravings when everyone around you is eating the things you don't want to eat anymore. I sure as hell couldn't do it. I really really see a lot of myself in you. I'm super dependent on food and a good meal can legitimately make my entire day. NO EXCUSES JACLYN, YOU GOT THIS. We're all on this journey with you!
It’s not hard bc you can’t focus on what others are doing and just worry about yourself. At the end of the day it’s her actions and her thoughts to just simply stop the “it’s the weekend” “im outta town.” Bs and she’ll she a lot of results.
It gets easier with time! Just remember that those first times are always the hardest but it will not stay that way forever!! Trust😇 if I can do it for sure ANYONE else can
@@cali9463 Absolutely. It's also difficult to completely change your mindset! She looks like she's getting control of it in the preview so let's hope she stays consistent!
I'm always that one friend that eats the "healthy food" while everyone else eats junk. It makes me feel proud that im taking care of my body and i never think of it as im stopping myself from eating the food i want. With time you start to know what kinds of healthy foods you enjoy and healthy doesnt mean it tastes bad.
This series you’re doing is life changing. It’s real- it’s bold- it’s amazing. I am literally on the same journey as you doing the same thing!! I started about a month ago & it’s hard. I used to be so fit, got into a relationship & gained 40lbs the past two years. I want to feel good again & be fit again & feel more confident in my clothes. Thank you for doing this! You’re beautiful & amazing!
Jordan is a dream man! Congratulations jaclyn on your relationship with Jordan and your new relationship with yourself! You deserve happiness! Jordan literally made me cry lol
I just adore how supportive Jordan is of you. He’s so understanding and loving! He’s the perfect man for you! I think you’re doing a great job and I’m so happy you’re changing for YOURSELF! You got this girl!
I love this life style content. Also, I’ve never seen a more honest example of what it’s actually like to change your lifestyle. I had major bowel surgery 8 years ago, and had to completely change my diet. It’s hard. It sucks. Thank you for being so open and honest ❤️
I’ve never related with Jaclyn more. This series is really help motivating me for my own health and well-being because I feel the EXACT same way about food that Jaclyn does and I do struggle with it. You’re going to do great! 💗
Unfortunately this obsession is in a lot of people. I'm the opposite. I gotta make a deal with myself just to even eat my favorite foods. I hate the act of eating and I usually forget to eat. Both sides of this struggle are awful
I really appreciate how real she is keeping it. I am the same way. I ALWAYS give into my cravings and reaaaallly struggle to tell myself no. It’s just the reality. Loving these videos will continue watching her journey!
absolutely loving this series. I feel like I have been in your boat SO many times and as much as it sucks to go through that, it is helpful to see you go through this knowing I am not alone! I am inspired by you can can't wait to watch the rest and I am ready to get back on my healthy track!
THIS THIS THIS!!! There are no bad foods. There are more optimally nutritious foods and less optimally nutritious foods. I hate the words “bad food,” “junk food,” “cheat food/day,” etc. I like to call them “indulgent day” or like you, “TREAT meal” 😊
Cheat meals are one thing. What she just did in this video was disgusting. The fact that she tried to say she hadn’t even eaten that much after she bunged at in and out and then the sushi 🤢
It’s all about portions. Like if I’m going to have cake, I’m gonna enjoy it lol but do portions. It’s hard! Especially when the food is your weakness. Mine is cake 😩
I don’t think you should label foods as “good” and “bad”. You can still enjoy the foods you love in moderation. For example, you could still have a sandwich for lunch, you could still have a small chocolate at the end of the day for dessert etc.
I drank 2 gallons of Gatorade a day at work, alone, and ate 9000 calories just to maintain 225-245 With liquids I was eating over 40 pounds per day and I ate 4-5 donuts if I could before lunch, and ate all sorts of delicious crap: candy bars, subs, pizzas, fried chicken and fried clams, stew, BBQ I walked 13-14 miles/day at work. 36" waist at 245
I’m so proud of you, woman. This is encouraging me to stay on track and remember I mentally feel better when I’m taking care of MYSELF. I’ve slacked soooo damn much and made excuses like, I’m sad, hurricane, I’m tired, etc. NO EXCUSES TEAM UNITE!!!
I love that you're on your way to healthier options. The thing that sticks out the most for me is the portion sizes and the constant snacking. It's not only about what you eat but also how much you eat. You can still enjoy your favourite meals but just have smaller portion sizes. 😊
thank you so much for being so raw and real. i want to go through lifestyle change as well and i’m so scared because i don’t want to fail (which i’ve done every time i try to do this). but seeing you be so real, i realize that i’m not alone. it’s gonna be hard and i’m gonna mess up. but the most important thing is getting back up and making healthy choices. so thank you! i’m so excited to get to see you go through this journey! i’m so happy and so proud of you!
I always look forward to these!! I’m currently eating healthy and losing weight as well so this is sooo relatable!! Makes me feel like I’m not alone! We can do this girl!! 💜

Just something I noticed on film: Jordan has some really good ideas, I feel like you might have a hard time letting go of control and letting someone else take the reigns. He seems to have your best interests at heart, why not make more attempts to try what he says? Also- sometimes our friends don’t really have our best interests at heart. There’s a whole community out there that talks about toxic friends who sabotage dieting and exercise, it comes from a place of jealousy. I know my input wasn’t asked for, but I wanna see you succeed!
I agree with this and these past 2 videos are also frustrating for me. I’m also in the process of losing weight and changing my diet. She complains that she’s not eating good at all but then continues to do it and says it’s worth it and it gives off vibes that she’s not 100% doing this for herself or doesn’t completely want the change. I love jaclyn but I think she may be better off making this a private goal for herself and keeping the positive mindset that she’s has in some parts of the video. You can’t complain about something if you aren’t giving it 100%
You took the words out of my mouth. When your friends don’t support you on a journey, but in fact sabotage it, you need new friends. Jaclyn, it seems like Jordan is the only one that is trying to keep you on track and is actually helping you. You can’t let other “friends” try to fuck up your journey even if it for a weekend. They ain’t your friends. Love you girl you got this!
It’s all about mindset girl. Really. There are no “good” foods or “bad” foods. Everything in moderation and yes, i also agree that 80% of your lifestyle should be healthy and the other 20 should be you indulging in whatever. Thats a great way to look at it.
Although you might have indulged, you’re only human! I believe in you Jaclyn. P.S. I watch these episodes while I’m on the elliptical. You’re motivating me.
Jordan is the type of man you should have by your side in this type of journey❤️ he didn’t make mean comments whenever you had cheat meals and let you have your moment. He was willing to help you get back on track no matter how many times you went 50 steps back. I’m so proud of you for wanting to be better. Thank you for letting us see this side of you❤️
Honestly this diet sounds really restrictive. Don’t be so hard on yourself. You can still eat healthy carbs and “bad” things in moderation and see the results you want. Restrictions lead to binges as other comments have said. Good luck you got this, all love here.
Yesss!! I just started tracking my calories and macros 2 weeks ago and have started seeing a huge difference - even though I still eat fun foods! It’s all about that calorie deficit and not getting hungry.
@@STIZZLE1 People who criticize others will use the words. "I care about you" to lessen the blow. Seriously if you have someone who criticizes more than praises. You have an asshole on your hands.
@@stephanieharo5958 untrue. Sometimes people deserve and need to hear the truth. By your logic you’d watch a loved one drink themselves to death so long as you didn’t ’criticize’ their alcoholic behavior. And you can’t be so weak and prideful that you can’t hear constructive criticism.
I’m a little I’ve half way through and LOVING how you aren’t getting mad at Jordan. I always ask my hubby to keep me accountable but I get pissed when he does. Lol. So kudos to you for swallowing your ego. And kudos to Jordan for helping you stick to your goal while loving you fully exactly where you are ❤️
Saw a nutritionist once telling she doesn't restrict any of her patients from eating anything at all. What she does is make a deal: you need to eat the same amount of unhealthy and healthy food in a meal and start with the healthy one. So if you want a burger you need to eat the equivalent (same size portion or same weight) of salad or vegetables first. Her patients usually loose a lot of weight and said most of the time that can't finish the unhealthy meal because they're full of the health stuff and end up naturally skipping or downsizing their junk food consumption.
Just remember when you restrict too muh you will binge later.
It's so hard to eat healthy and stick to a diet when everyone else around you is eating to their heart's content, especially when you're traveling! I know you said you were really embarrassed about this video but I'm glad this is showing a more realistic and accurate portrayal of how difficult getting back on track can be.
Not really! When you have tunnel vision , you actually feel empowered when you say no to things that don’t serve your purpose at the moment! Get the mind right and the body will follow!
Jaclyn, you're human. Food is delicious. We do this as humans. You're perfectly ok for taking a break. We are all rooting for you because you are normal. You're open and honest about the struggle.
You can make “chicken salad” but with shredded chicken and the salsa from fresh market (instead of Mayo) then add chunks of avocado and your fav seasoning - it’s sooo good and easy!
I love how real you are being, its honestly so hard..coming from someone else who binges. You got this Jaclyn!!! Fitting into your jeans is so much worth it over the bag of Doritos!!!!!!
You’re not alone, Jaclyn. I’m on the same journey and there are days when you are going to feel so powerful and days where it’s…just so hard. Be kind to yourself, nudge and push yourself when you need to, celebrate those days where you feel empowered and successful (even those little, tiny wins!), and know you have so much support. Rooting for you! 💗
Your relationship is beautiful 😭 the way he supports you and cheers you on is so freaking sweet! Keep going… each time you fall just pick it back up and do it again and again. Not giving up is the important part regardless how many times you “mess” up. You got this!
This is by far my favorite series you’ve done in a LONG time! I love how real it is! Thank you for allowing us into a fraction of your life! You got this!
I love how you ended this video. It’s a conversation that so many people just don’t realize. Loving this series and how open you are with us. Keep it up Jaclyn!!
The editing in this is impeccable. The music, it just makes me feel everything you are feeling. I didnt plan on watching the series in full, or taking this journey alongside you. But im in it for the long haul, and making healthier choices myself now♡
You can freakin do this, girl! Your future self, even a few months form now, will be so thankful. You won’t regret it. Like you said, you can’t crash diet. But even limiting the bad and having more good intake is going to take you so far.
Jac we need carbs for energy don’t be afraid to eat rice just eat less of it. Same for bread. There are healthier options too. Drink lots of protein! 💕
The honesty in this is everything! From the “cheating” and Jordan calling you out, to him being the proud boyfriend telling you how amazing you are. I just love seeing this journey, as a lot of us are going thru it too.
This series, it’s legit what I needed recently. Not to be selfish, but I need your struggles to get through mine as well. I feel like we’re in this together!!! We got this, we’re all in this together to who ever else is going through this journey! 🥰🥰 love you jaclyn
In our house, I have a collection of those deli containers in the fridge all the time, which I fill with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, and homemade enchilada sauce. At any given moment, I am able to throw together amazing taco salads, or burritos, soft tacos, or anything of that nature. I helps keeping focus if you meal prep b/c you don't have to think about it when it comes time to eat. It's there, it's ready and you chose and made it.
I've watched both episodes today. When I started this video I got up and just walked the whole video. I feel all your emotions and love the realness of it. This right here will be what helps me start my own journey. Thank you 🙏
Why dont you try reaching out to a dietitian that helps with balance eating. It really is all about moderation! When you restrict you are most likely going to binge because like you said you have one little bite and you just want to keep going and going!! im still so proud of you!
you’re doing great jaclyn! you’re really good ab realizing when you’re making mistakes and how it effects your body! i’ve been in your position before but i made it through it and now that i have a healthy lifestyle it’s so easy to stay w it because you know how your body feels being healthy and how shitty it felt not being healthy
You’re so inspiring! I’m joining you on your journey! Starting now. I love that you show all the struggles and “failures”. You’re so real. You can start a revolution.
The end made me tear up! When you finally commit to yourself and see the progress it's the most rewarding thing in the world. No one did it but you, YOU get to be proud of what YOU have done to work on yourself!! Go Jaclyn! You're amazing!!
I’ve never related more to you than now! Yes it’s hard when everyone around you is eating all the stuff you’re telling yourself not to eat :( but you got this Jaclyn! And because of you I’m starting my journey too 🤩
I feel the same way!! Definitely starting my process and I have never related to someone so much. I hope she knows she’s not alone and we all got this 💪🏼
I genuinely look forward to each video coming out I love how honest and real you keep everything, I myself have been trying to be on a journey to just getting healthier and I've messed up the past couple of weeks so this is huge motivation for me, thank you!
Best piece of advice I received when I was on my weight loss journey, in regards to when you’re cheating. It might be worth it and make you happy in the moment, but will it be worth it and make you happy in the future. As happy as I am diving in my cheat treats, it almost always end up in derailing myself entirely every single time and for how shitty I feel shortly after, it’s never worth it. If you’re gonna divulge, you need to do small amounts and in moderation. I also think you need to see a nutritionist if you’re not already. I know it’s only been a couple weeks but you shouldn’t have to struggle this bad.
As you can see, I “cheated” ALOT! I’m really struggling but it’s getting easier & easier.
Also get your thyroid checked . 😊
Nobody's perfect and the fact that you're using your platform to be raw and real with people, not many influencers do that❤ im thankful for you and your videos
Routing for you! 👏🏻 👏🏻 I’m doing this with you too! 💪🏻 we got this 🔥
You got this, keep it up.
Honestly…….
I have never thought of it that way!! Thank you for saying this ❤️
I used to ALWAYS say I'm starting over too, and my friend would say "when you get a flat tire, do you go and flatten the other 3? No, you fix the flat one and keep going". Your analogy reminded me of his. Very good advice!!
Love that - absolute true 👏🥰
Well said!
Wow everyone in this comment, thank you for sharing this! I will add that to my board to remind myself as well. Thank you 🙏🏻 💕
Just remember when you restrict you will binge later.
This was my thought, too. Restricting is the worst thing anyone can do.
Just remember that she isn’t just trying to lose weight, she’s avoiding foods that cause inflammation in the body.
YES THIS THANK YOU!!! Restricting only makes you binge and feel extreme guilt. Just eat what you want in smaller portions while still making effort to make healthy decisions as well and you will have great success!
This needs to be a pinned comment
yessss!!!! Colleen Christensen is my favorite for promoting intuitive eating!! hands down the only way in my opinion to have a healthy relationship with food and our bodies 😌
Can we all applaud Jordan for his pep talk? Starting a journey like this requires not just personal conviction, but support from those around you.
@@adrianagutierrez5192 i was just thinking this. She needs a dietician.
I think Colleen Christiansen the no food rules RD would be amazing for ger
I agree. I can barely watch the videos because I don’t think what she is doing is best for her. Restriction leads to binging. Everything in moderation is okay
You are so right on.i agree with every word!
After this I’m going to nourish my body”
ruclips.net/video/MbtE36xbMPQ/видео.html
What are you talking about- of COURSE there are foods that are morally bad. They're just not "morally bad" in the sense that you're talking about, i.e unhealthy. Destroying the planet to indulge in your meat-eating habit is MOST DEFINITELY morally wrong.
@@purplespaceship2417 Well, at least you understood what I meant. I meant stop food guilt. Heal your relationship with food. Don’t punish yourself for eating something. Was not remotely referring to whether the food you choose is ethical or environmentally friendly.
@@purplespaceship2417 oh god😂

Totally agree! It's all about sustaining the lifestyle and having balance no denying yourself of anything nor excessively indulging
Great insight. Completely agree
Its all about progress rather than perfection and it would be a lot easier on her mental health
thanks for this. it helps me.
100% agree. This is so sad to me and not mentally healthy.

Exactly!! I think she should try IF. Also someone please explain does she have those threads in her face from the threading?
Diets never work. Willpower always runs out. It has to be a lifestyle change that is both enjoyable while honoring and respecting yourself and your body. Take that transformative leap into self-love and you will succeed!
Perfectly said, agree 👏🥰

Intuitive eating saved my relationship with food and healed my "restrict & binge" cycle I was on for YEARS! I'd encourage anyone to look it up and see the steps to healing your relationship with food. It's wayyy more in depth than just "eating whatever you want" and I'm truly grateful I went on the journey. Big love to anyone trying to heal themselves from chronic illnesses, feel more vibrant, healthy, and alive.
Im currently on that journey, best decision ever! 🙏🏼✨
as someone with a chronic illness & is recovering from an eating disorder, intuitive eating all the way!! it’s completely transformed my relationship with food but slowly and over time so that the changes are sustainable 🙏🏼
Yessss same here
I’m not gonna lie this is the kind of content Jacklyn is made for.
@@bararobberbaron859 Great message👏👏
There’s nothing wrong with eating something unhealthy once and a while. As long as she is happy with. Her lifestyle you don’t have to agree
“We’re feeding an army!”
“We’re only 7 people.”

jk jaclyn dont murder me pls
I love how supportive you are
You are such a good bf. 🖤
Wow that’s awesome!
THIS. This is how the process goes and I think it’s so important to show just how hard it is. It’s HARD for me but this makes me feel motivated to do better to treat myself better too!
me too. it’s been so easy for me to try and do this journey knowing people are going through and feeling the same thing as myself i’m so happy she’s doing this
honestly this is so refreshing. usually we just see the “good parts” of a transformation or the before and after. you have no idea how good it feels to know i’m not the only one struggling in the same way you are. i’ve been trying to lose weight most of my life and seeing someone struggle the same way i do makes me feel better about my struggles. thank you for showing me not everyone’s journey is as easy and perfect as it seems
ruclips.net/video/m8g9wpTPZwU/видео.html
Food is not “good” or “bad” having a healthy/good relationship with food and learning that everything is okay in moderation I think would really help. It’s not helpful to have this bad relationship with food.
Yes I agree! I have such a bad relationship with food for many reasons but this mentality definitely adds to it and it’s really hard to rewire your brain
No, some food IS bad. Fast food, processed meats and chips, high caffeine intake, fried food, IS bad.
Overeating is definitely a thing. I used to binge eat soooooo bad.
She has an addiction and should be seeming out therapy
Restriction is what is leading to food obsession.
I’m concerned with the relationship you’re developing with food. I highly recommend reaching out to a professional dietitian to help create a plan for you that leaves space for the foods you enjoy! Enjoying food isn’t a punishment.
Yes please reach out to a professional!! I am certain they will help you so much and make your relation with food better.
ruclips.net/video/m8g9wpTPZwU/видео.html
Thank you for commenting this! I agree that a dietitian would be a very healthy route because your relationship with food and eating can’t be based on “cheat” meals and restrictions 👏🏻
Agreed it’s not natural to have this type of relationship with food
It’s ok to admit that u can’t do something urself and asking for help.. that’s not weak
The journey is to go through the process and learn from the mistakes
I totally agree. The right dietician and trainer will actually educate enough so she wont need to rely on it for life.
But if I had that type of money, I would be paying for a ton of support at first
Honestly girl, I love how your mans is supporting you with this without degrading you even if you cheat. So sweet love it!
I feel like this video pretty much sums up what we all go through! It’s so real and you’re talking about real problems that are relatable. I’ve always struggled with my food intake and restricting myself, recovering from an ED and this video sums up my day to day life. It’s so motivating! You got this Jaclyn!!!

It's not as hard as you think
It all comes down to mindset

You can really see in this episode that it’s an actual obsession to her, the way food makes her happy
Unfortunately this obsession is in a lot of people. I'm the opposite. I gotta make a deal with myself just to even eat my favorite foods. I hate the act of eating and I usually forget to eat. Both sides of this struggle are awful
Food makes a lot of people happy. 😂 Me included.
I don’t call them cheat meals anymore, I call them “treat” meals instead because I should never feel guilty to enjoy what I eat.
💓💓
For example, you could still have a sandwich for lunch, you could still have a small chocolate at the end of the day for dessert etc.
yesss exactly
This whole series has such terrible messages about food and health. It's infuriating.
I drank 2 gallons of Gatorade a day at work, alone, and ate 9000 calories just to maintain 225-245
With liquids I was eating over 40 pounds per day and I ate 4-5 donuts if I could before lunch, and ate all sorts of delicious crap: candy bars, subs, pizzas, fried chicken and fried clams, stew, BBQ
I walked 13-14 miles/day at work.
36" waist at 245
Yes I agree. For me personally, I always found when I do that I binge on those 'bad' foods more when I 'allow' myself too.
THIS! I lost ~70 lbs even without thinking of foods this way
One day at a time! Just keep going, you're doing great. When you were talking about hydrating, I was like... Yes. Me too.
It purifies the soul 😁

Girl, I felt this. 🙌🏼
You can’t complain about something if you aren’t giving it 100%
Basically what I’m saying is if she wanted it bad enough she wouldn’t “cheat” as much as she does
You took the words out of my mouth.
FACTSSSSS the ones that let you slip aren’t you’re friends.
Consistency over perfection.

I love that Jordan holds you accountable in such an encouraging way.❤️

Jaclyn telling us 400 times “it’s so worth it!!!!”
Also Jaclyn on the plane “nothing was worth it”
Lmfaooo it be like that
It’s an actual addiction. It’s so hard
@@AmberrLynn13 oh I know I struggle too girl
It’s just funny
not Jordan holding the special light for you at the beach to celebrate that gorgeous glow! the power the two of you hold as a couple is superior 🤌🏼🔥❤️
Su fucking perior !!! I soo agree, goals right there 😍😍😍
He is the prove that a good partner can get you so good in life, he is truly a blessing in jaclyn’s life !

Jordan is the type of man you should have by your side in this type of journey❤️ he didn’t make mean comments whenever you had cheat meals and let you have your moment. He was willing to help you get back on track no matter how many times you went 50 steps back. I’m so proud of you for wanting to be better. Thank you for letting us see this side of you❤️
thats because she is his suga mommy. you think hes only with her because he likes her? lol.
@@Truthhurtz4u Yes I do
@@Truthhurtz4u he gives me bad vibes though , I don’t think he’s genuine or with her for the right reasons.
@@zeth9761 i feel the same. and he might be a "feeder", so hes trying to keep her a certain weight so other men arent attractive to her.
It’s all about that calorie deficit and not getting hungry.
i think she’s trying to follow the low fodmap foods diet? in order to help her inflammation? not sure tho
Im currently fasting
Only time I ate was when I do physical activity
I think so too
I love how Jordan supports her no matter what! he doesn’t criticize her ❤️❤️❤️
ruclips.net/video/m8g9wpTPZwU/видео.html
Why would anyone who loves anyone criticize. If you're being criticized IN ANY way by your significant other, you are NOT loved.
@@stephanieharo5958 yeah true unless the criticizer cares, but there are other ways to help without criticizing so I get u
And kudos to Jordan for helping you stick to your goal while loving you fully exactly where you are ❤️
You must not have seen the first video, where she did get mad at Jordan. lol. But it's normal.
I literally always tell my man to hold me accountable and then i get so mad when he does 😂😅😅
Honestly I’m so proud of you. Just having that mind set of being healthier and feeling good is a first step. No journey is easy 🥰

I cried when Jordan started talking so highly of you. Literally so fckn sweet. Proud of you girl. ❤️❤️
The honesty in this is everything! From the “cheating” and Jordan calling you out, to him being the proud boyfriend telling you how amazing you are. I just love seeing this journey, as a lot of us are going thru it too.
I love this new series you’re doing! It’s so relatable how you’re feeling and thoughts you have.
You're doing great! Don't be to hard on yourself ❤👑
Hey Jess❤️

This series, it’s legit what I needed recently. Not to be selfish, but I need your struggles to get through mine as well. I feel like we’re in this together!!! We got this, we’re all in this together to who ever else is going through this journey! 🥰🥰 love you jaclyn
GO JACLYN!!! Honestly we need two episodes a week- this is my favorite series online!! I don’t want to wait another week 😭😭😭 do your thing girl!
I agree... Having healthy food on the ready is Key!!🤗
And because of you I’m starting my journey too 🤩
That's awesome girl! I feel the same! We got this xoxo
There is no bad food. It’s all a balance at the end of the day. I would look into a nutritionist and even a therapist to help out. You got this girl!!
yes nutritionists are the best
