So proud of you Jaclyn! I've lost 42 lbs since October! And I am 20lbs away from my usual weight before I gained a ton during the pandemic uggg. In my case it wasn't alcohol. I have never drank alcohol before (personal preference, grew up with an alcoholic father) so thats never been an issue for me BUT energy drinks definitely were. I finally kicked the habit and so beyond proud of myself. I've been drinking unsweetened green tea & Poppi prebiotic "soda" instead and ita been life changing. Can't wait for more of your journey!
Proud of you girl! As I’ve gotten older, and seen the vices that other adults around me have-I realize we’re all using SOMETHING to cope with the anxieties of life. Drinking, scrolling, smoking, sex, shopping-I’m guilty of a few of those! I haven’t even been to therapy and I feel like if therapy was free or even *gasp* mandatory (?) until a certain age….I feel like we’d all be better off as a whole because we’d have mechanisms to cope with the inevitable challenges of living this life.
I am 37 days no alcohol! Your first video really inspired me and made me want to start on my own journey. I’ve been definitely eating way too many sweets. I would love more what you eat in day and/or how you lost the weight ❤
Jaclyn the mindset change around your journey is so wild!! It’s totally different from when you started and I feel like most of us go through the phases where we think that we need to cut out all the sugar and all the carbs and do a ton of cardio. And then we go through phases of trying to find what works for us and then realizing that we need to have balance and can still enjoy the foods that we love, but also working out and having mostly whole food diet. It’s all about just feeling good mentally and physically and I really think you’re starting to embody this and show people that you can maintain weight after losing weight and still enjoy the foods and activities that you love.
Whoooo you go girl! You look great! But you’ve always looked great. I’m glad you FEEL great! I’m currently on a weightless journey too love watching these

If youre always numbing your pain and suppressing your emotions you never learn to deal with them and overcome them.. You have to allow yourself to feel and sit with things in order to deal with them, if you dont they will always be there!
so relatable!! thank you for sharing. i'm almost sober for 9 months now myself and everything you say is just about right! so proud of you for being on this journey and sharing it. you look amazing!
You've been vulnerable on youtube. You can do this, find a buddy to walk slowly with. Always helps if you have someone who wants to do what you want..New year, new you 💜
Funny you mentioned Starbucks. I shit you not when I tell you this…..I cut out Starbucks for 2 months and lost 40#. FORTY POUNDS. Not exaggerating one bit. My doc freaked out and ordered tests but I was just fine. That’s literally how much sugar is in those things.
Oh my gosh thank you! It’s hard to face emotions and stress without drinking for me. But knowing you got through it helps me continue to push through. I’m so grateful I watched your video! ❤
Psychedelics saved me from years of uncontrollable depression, anxiety, smoking, and illicit pills addiction. Imagine carving heavy chains for over a decade and then all of a sudden that burden is gone. Believe it or not, in a couple of years they'll be all over for treatment of mental health related issues.
Psilocybin is legal in some states and mushroom therapy is allowed in many states as a legitimate medical treatment. So I believe soon it'll be globally used as a treatment for anxiety, depression, and more.
To be honest, mushrooms are one of the most amazing things on the planet and it is natural, they serve in many ways not only for mental related issues.
Can you help me with a reliable source I would really appreciate it. Many people talk about mushrooms and psychedelics but nobody talks about where to get them. It is very hard to get a reliable source here in New Zealand. Really need!
Yes, Sporeville. I had the same experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and addiction... Mushrooms definitely made a huge difference to why I'm clean today.
I wish they were readily available in my place. Microdosing was my next plan of care for my husband. He's 59 & has many mental health issues plus probably CTE & a TBI that left him in a coma 8 days. It's too late now I had to get a TPO as he's 6'6 300+ pound homicidal maniac. He's constantly talking about killing someone. He's violent. Anyone reading this Familiar w/ BPD knows if it is common for an obsession with violence.
This gives me so much hope! I’ve been drinking daily now for several years. I hope I can get back to the point in my life where I do not drink. Go girl!! You are amazing. Thank you for this.
You look so good Jaclyn! I was drinking a lot since last February and I think it was from the stress of my new job. I quit that job back in August and now my mental health is much better so I finally stopped drinking as much as I was and started putting more focus back on my health and fitness goals. I feel so so much better and I’ve lost so much weight because I’ve been cutting out alcohol and I feel so much better physically. I’m so happy for you ❤

You look so beautiful now that you have stopped drinking, your transformation is amazing ! I have to play your video every day to keep me on track and it's working ..,.thank you so much and so thankful I found your channel ! God Bless you beautiful girl ! Cindi from Canada
Jaclyn, I have been watching you since your first Kim Kardashian’s bedroom lamp makeup video and I swear you are the only person I still watch from that time and probably the only reason I still open my RUclips app. There literally is no falling out of love with you, you are not a phase. You are literally life
It’ll be two years for me on February 11th. This second year got better. I’ve never felt so good. Better sleep, mood, relationships, weight stability, energy, the list goes on. Wish I’d done this sooner.
Maybe it’s just me, sober for so many years but it can still happen. Out of nowhere it will hit me, “wouldn’t it just be so fun to get a buzz on?” I won’t drink but I miss it. No one talks about missing it. Everyone is like, “I don’t miss it at all.” I have guilt that I do.
you're not alone. sober 8 months and I do think about it, how fun would it be to just finish a bottle of wine with my bestie. but I don't want that to be my story any more!
Jaclyn, I know you may not see this but you were the reason I got into make-up the way I did and why my friends ask me to do theirs. I’ve watched your videos from the BEGINNING! (Cat eye winged liner) And all I have to say is your growth is inspiring. You are real, raw and always self reflecting and asking yourself, what can I do better. Admitting faults and choosing to push forward. The way you talk now is so much more positive and confident. Not letting the anxiety take over. Makes me smile! Happiness looks good on you girl! ❤❤❤❤
Jaclyn! I have watched you since 2014 when I was a senior in college. I haven’t been on YT as much anymore but I came across your video today and this just made me so emotional and happy for someone I don’t actually know in real life. I’ve seen you struggle through the years with your relationships, businesses, and self confidence. It’s amazing to see how you’ve transformed your mindset set and attitude on life. I love this so much for you and wish you continued love and happiness. You truly deserve it. (PS it also makes me so happy seeing how positive your comment section is too)

Do you ever feel sad that your body is different now than it was on your wedding day? I’m 10 pounds down since my April wedding (started end of December) and feel sad I don’t recognize myself in my wedding pictures which are a once in a lifetime thing
What? Honestly if you hold that much value in a day that only 10 pounds can change your mood…you might need the better help sponsorship. A wedding isn’t even important. Your marriage and your health are.
I quit drinking 2 months ago when I found out I have cancer, and I was SO sad to have to stop, but the longer I go without drinking the more I realize how much better it is to be sober, keep it up! Thank you for being so open about this!
I love this! So happy for you. Currently trying to get healthier not only for my wedding this year but because I'm mentally sick of not doing it. Thank you! You definitely helped me so much!

You don’t even use the service! You only said you have a few friends who use Better Help! Seriously you should be ashamed of yourself!!!
I’m 1.5 years sober and it was the best decision of my life. More importantly you are also becoming an inspiration to people and motivating them that they can do it too. The first 3 months were the hardest. At 6 months it’s becomes a way of life and you see the satisfaction of not drinking. I will never go back!
While I congratulate you on not drinking for 6 months. Please, please also include information for people who struggle and cannot just quit cold turkey. It also can be very dangerous to do that without the proper help. People are in different places with alcohol and may need more help than just stopping cold turkey. Maybe do some research and include places and phone numbers that people can call for additional help in your videos.
As someone who’s struggled with mental health as well as my relationship with food… I love this. I’m on the same journey. It’s a bumpy road. This video inspired me to continue what I started- walking more, being kinder to my self, nourishing my body while also enjoying my cravings. I am so happy to see you in a better state of mind ❤
I’ve never really been into drinking, but I’ve been smoking weed since I was a teenager. I recently decided to quit cold turkey, and man can I relate to you on some things! I also realized that I was using it to basically numb myself, or help myself “deal with things.” I’ve only been off of it for 3 months, but I feel the same way, I am SO proud of myself for actually dealing with my emotions and negative thoughts on my own now, and also feel as though it’s preparing me for motherhood!! Way to go Jaclyn!🥳🙌🏻 I’ve been watching you since you worked at Mac, and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you being vulnerable and sharing all this with us! You are glowing, and you make me want to keep going. Thank you🥹❤️
Brilliant well done. I smoked weed and alcohol for years,so hard to come off it. Found love for the gym and myself. Keep going luv. Bet your aging backwards now.👏❤

Thank you for the inspiration! You have made me realize I need to get rid of alcohol in my life, not just for health reasons but for my mental clarity. Waking up regretting drinking is getting to me because I know I am harming my body and I hate it. It's time for a change. Thank you again!

I’m currently on a weightless journey too love watching these
Learned some great techniques from your videos many years ago. I'm glad the algo pushed this to me. Really happy for you and all of the commenters that are making healthy changes in their lives. Wishing you all the best! You've got this!
I’m walking on my walking pad right now watching this! Down 1st4lbs with a balanced diet, keeping food tasty and walking x
You inspired me so much Jaclyn. I became a subscriber of yours from discovering your alcohol free journey which inspired me so much! I am now 105 days sober and feeling amazing. Thank you so much ❤
If youre always numbing your pain and suppressing your emotions you never learn to deal with them and overcome them.. You have to allow yourself to feel and sit with things in order to deal with them, if you dont they will always be there!
so relatable!! thank you for sharing. i'm almost sober for 9 months now myself and everything you say is just about right! so proud of you for being on this journey and sharing it. you look amazing!
That’s so awesome! I’m so overweight and it seems so difficult to get started. It’s more of getting out of bad habits (Starbucks) than anything else.
I haven’t seen you for a while (like 6 months) and I love what I see now! Great job Dear! God bless you!
I’m so happy for you ❤
thank you beautiful girl ...I just poured my last bottle of wine down the drain .... i viewed your video 6 months ago and it's be on my mind ever since ... You look so beautiful now that you have stopped drinking, your transformation is amazing ! I have to play your video every day to keep me on track and it's working ..,.thank you so much and so thankful I found your channel ! God Bless you beautiful girl ! Cindi from Canada
Highly recommend walking super slow on the treadmill for 15 min after your class. Nice slow cool down. And keep a snack in your gym bag.
Jaclyn, I have been watching you since your first Kim Kardashian’s bedroom lamp makeup video and I swear you are the only person I still watch from that time and probably the only reason I still open my RUclips app. There literally is no falling out of love with you, you are not a phase. You are literally life
This is awesome! I'm in recovery and I haven't had a drink since 5/8/2020 🎉
It’ll be two years for me on February 11th.
Don't feel guilty, it's so normal, even after years, stay strong!
I miss it too in the moment (usually at night or at a party) but then the next day I am so SO HAPPY that I’m still sober and no hangover 😭
I have dreams where I'm drinking and feel guilty in my dream!
I miss the buzz! But I don't miss the hangovers or wasted money. Also it's been so long I'm scared if I drank again I wouldn't stop.
Caused me gastritis i haven't been drinking for 2 months and loving it while healing my gut
(PS it also makes me so happy seeing how positive your comment section is too)
Babbbyyyyyyy I need the link to the chicken nuggies pronto ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I came here to say the same!!
I feel like I’m healing alongside you. I’m a mom of 2 and kinda got lost in motherhood but now I feel so much strength ❤
Good job! You look so alive! I'm 1 month in but can't wait for my 6 month mark!
Guuurrllll! The amount of energy you have is INSANITY!! You look beautiful as always. I can’t believe the difference in you. Your face just shows all the progress. I need this for myself!!’ ❤
Omg! We need the link to the nuggets!
Right! Where is it!?
I'm a long time follower and this is such a moment in your life. People don't realize how they deal with emotions and issues really impact their whole life. I'm so proud of you and please keep sharing your story!! I see this all the time as a nurse and you are so awesome 😊❤🎉
I have been wanting/needing to quit drinking for awhile now and Jaclyn I’ve followed you for years and truly couldn’t be more proud of you. This video is just what I needed. Thank you 🙏🏻
One month and 5 days with no alcohol! I was a daily wine drinker. It was the first thing I grabbed when I walked in my door when I got off work. You were my main inspiration 🫶🏻
Im still doing this 😭 i cant quit
@@beccs5050girl I have no willpower and I thought the same! I just had to make myself stop.. the first 2 weeks were the absolute worst, but then you get in a new routine and I just took it a day at a time .. good luck friend!
Hey, what was the brand of the chicken nuggets? Thanks 🎉
Yes, I would love to know! I have celiac, and I am always looking for great tasting gf food.
Proud of you Jaclyn! Thanks for this video! You seem so much better! I struggle with anxiety myself!
7:07 Where’s my chicken nuggie pic at ?!?! 😅😅😅😅😅
Jaclyn i need those nuggets! What is the brand?? You didn’t post the bag on the screen and i was so sad 😂😭❤ tell meeeee 😍
Jacklyn, you forgot to show the chicken nugget box/bag! Girl that is soooooooooo rude! Get us salivating and then shut us down! 🤣
It's the spotlight effect at the gym. When you think everyone is looking at you but everyone is really just focused on themselves!
So proud of you Jaclyn. Just want to know how much positive you are doing by sharing your journey ❤️ from one sober girly to another, keep on keeping on one day at a time sis ✨
I can’t do group workouts, that’s why I have a personal trainer and I’m so very grateful of her because I’m just more of a one on one person.
Im just in the comments to find out the name of those chicken nuggies again please 🙏🏼❤
I quit drinking 2 months ago when I found out I have cancer, and I was SO sad to have to stop, but the longer I go without drinking the more I realize how much better it is to be sober, keep it up! Thank you for being so open about this!
Tbe day she does a video where she isn't pushing peddling or hawking something is the day I'll take her seriously.
I love this! So happy for you. Currently trying to get healthier not only for my wedding this year but because I'm mentally sick of not doing it. Thank you! You definitely helped me so much!
Jaclyn seriously?!? Better Help!? You will sell your soul to the devil to get that paycheck! Everyone has heard of the atrocities that come with Better Help!!! Disgusting to even partner with them!!!
And she still manages to slide in a sponsorship… Classic
Bet your aging backwards now.👏❤
Thank you Jaclyn for sharing your struggles and insights with me tal health, alcohol, food and exercise. It is so encouraging and I feel like watching this video a second time because there were so many good insights packed in there!
I’ve watched you from the beginning and I’m so proud of you!! You are helping so many people by sharing your journey! Thank you!
Thank you for the inspiration! You have made me realize I need to get rid of alcohol in my life, not just for health reasons but for my mental clarity. Waking up regretting drinking is getting to me because I know I am harming my body and I hate it. It's time for a change. Thank you again!
I’m SO proud of you!! Been watching your videos for a looong time and you’ve gone through so many hardships and came out stronger than ever and absolutely glowing!
