Wow Chris, what a great video. Never heard of this place before, but how beautiful. That mirror building, crazy, so unique. Loved that caravan resort too.
This is so beautiful. There are defiantly more historical location and a sense of culture and diversity in Saudi Arabia compared to other countries I’ve been to in the region. The media only focus on the two holy cities of Mecca and Madina forgetting that this country has a lot to see. I am so glad they opened tourism recently into the country.
@@ChrisKermis It is close to AlUla. I advise you to go to Wadi al-Dayseh where you will see one of the most beautiful valleys in the Arabian Peninsula.
Alula, what an unbelievable experience and I feel so lucky seeing it through your eyes. To find out that places like that exist, and it is opening up for tourism, is an exciting prospect for the future. Many thanks.
Another brilliant video Chris and this is one of the best. You take me on journeys to places I could never visit and your videos are so interesting and informative. Thanks.
Don't forget to visit Harrat Viewpoint, it's a must visit place. The road is challenging a bit because it's an uphill drive but quite safe barricades on the side.
Man we went on umrah to Saudi last year, went to Mecca and Medina were amazing but we really missed out on the places you've been to😅. Hopefully next time inshallah
I'm Saudi born and raised in Riyadh and I still have not been to Alula. Haha. One day! I recommend going to Asir/Abha next (basically southwest region of Saudi) It's completely different side of Saudi. Full of mountains and greenery. Enjoy!
@TheMegaBono I hope you make it one day! I'm looking to come back to Saudi so appreciate the tip on Asir/Abha. If you can give me any more info on places to visit, stay and things to do then that would be very much appreciated. I didn't expect so much green in that part.
As with any global destination, meticulous trip planning is essential for travel to Saudi Arabia. The temperature range varies by region; some areas experience cooler temperatures from November to mid-May. Unlike Jeddah, for example, the weather is pleasant from late December to February. Other months are hot and humid. Taif and the Asir region have pleasant weather throughout the year. Riyadh's weather, just like its season (the Riyadh season 😏), is pleasant from October to March. Welcome everyone, and I wish you a great trip to the heart of Arabia.
@@ChrisKermis The way you demonstrate a place to the world is absolutely mind-blowing and people will definitely be inspired to visit watching you. The Madina one was stupendous. I can't wait to see millions of followers of you.

June? My goodness 😂, I had believed it was at least October, if not November. No wonder the sun was so bright and the weather is clear. I visited last year during the winter, and the scenery was truly magnificent, like a painting. It was cloudy with a cool breeze, and there was a vibrant atmosphere both day and night. I’m looking forward to getting back to Riyadh now the metro is running. I was there at the end of this trip but wasn’t able to make a video there. Next time I certainly will! Aside from that, I drove, flew and got taxis within the cities. No need for a tour package unless that’s what you want.
Having western brand shops just doesn’t go with the environment and the ancientness of the area! IArabian coffee shops would have fitted in with surrounding theme of the area!
There are many Arabian (Saudi) coffee shops and restaurants serving native cuisines. However, such national brands are also good options for international tourists.
First of all I'd like to commend your video making, really great editing but I'll just add, AlUla is a cursed place Chris, the Saudi authorities should not be building anything near there or inviting tourists. I guess that explains why it's near deserted. That town has a very dark history and Muslims are explicitly warned to not go anywhere near there.
@@filmyfun1 It is not a fake information. Do you mean that a commandment of our beloved Prophet sws is a false information ???? Al Ula (Maidaien Salah) is cursed indeed and as muslim we must not go there. None muslim can do whatever they want
This is a cursed city please do research before visiting such places. We as Muslims have been advised not to visit this area, however I am also surprised to see Saudi disregard the prophets suggesting to stay away from here and yet they have turned this in to a tourist attraction 🤦🏽♂️
Al-Ula is so deserted because it’s a cursed and forbidden area! Al Ula was neglected for centuries. Despite efforts to promote it as a tourist attraction, it is considered a cursed place. The Saudi prince disobeyed the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by building a tourism destination there. The area was cursed to destroy the Thalmuds for their cruelty and idol worshipping.

I almost didn’t get in there past the security, so glad I did!
Recently found your channel. Two things I really liked,
🔵 Your positive outlook overall
🔵 Steady camera work.
Thank you! Jerky camera work is something that really bothers me. I think some big channels use it purposely to not look so big

Impressive all those tombs and what a beautiful landscape. It seems to me a nice location for a few days. Another good one, Chris!👌👍
Thank you 🙏🏽 I certainly get why they are developing this for tourism now, I’m sure this will be the way busier in the future!

Hi Chris, why did you delete your Turkey videos?
They were just my first experiments in video making, I don’t think they’re very good and they get basically no views.
Haven't seen Al-qasr Al-Fareed ( the unique palace)?
It seems that the visit was months ago
You should not go to Saudi Arabia in the month of 6, 7, 8 and 9
And the time to hang out is from 4 pm to 9 am
Best season to visit Saudi Arabia from December to April

The old town you showed from above! Is it a Jewish town?
I don't know who originally built the town, only that it is from the twelfth-century but with signs of previous occupation before that.
People go out at night.. you are too early !
I’m not sure where they go. It seemed pretty quiet even in the evenings. No problem though, I was there for the amazing sights
@ was this during winter? Cause i’ve been there last winter and it was so busy and hard to book things, i guess this was filmed in summer?
