What a match... Ascent in this match was one of the best matches I've seen this year. Ardiis and Stax were in the zone the entire time. Only the highest peak battle from the first day of playoff. really don't know which team will win the champions!!
I think we just witnessed an early grand final here.

DRX seems like a different breed against FPX & PRX. They had beaten FPX in last masters too.
Their issue is the consistency; that's where FPX thrives and the reason why they are the current Champion.

DRX is just a weird team not just in Valorant eSports but eSports in general. They're one of the very few teams out there that wouldn't surprise anyone if they get eliminated or upset early on, but also not surprising if they can beat contenders since they're contenders themselves. If they somehow didn't make it out of the groups, I won't be surprised but if they also end up being the Champions, it wouldn't be a surprise either. I don't think I have the same sentiment for other teams

Its because they have a history of dismantling contender teams (almost always in group stages) and then fumbling the bag in playoffs sometimes to teams that arent really contenders. These sort of performances really makes you believe they can destroy the best of them but also lose to the worst. Double edged sword
tbh, drx this champions is the strongest we've ever seen them. it might be because of international experience, strats, or buzz and rb swapping roles in some maps. but one thing's for sure, drx is now untiltable.
they fought furia in ot from being down 12-4, the stakes were so high in this ascent match and they win it against the current champions. this will be the time drx will be crowned champions.

Ascent was the best entertaining game I have ever seen in valorant pro scene. I believe losing that one affect the mentality of FPX a little bit, Breeze could be a bit closer game than this. Anyway, Drx deserve this, and fpx still got a chance too 🔥

They banned haven (they don’t really like playing haven I guess and I saw somebody say drx are good on it) and I think what they went for was like we win ascent then give breeze a try then win icebox/Pearl but it didn’t work out, I guess?

Not speaking with bias, because i love playing Valorant more, but watching CSGO majors is way more fun. The casters in cs are GOATED, the crowd is way better and the finals always has insane moments or outcome. This year's IEM Cologne and Katowice were amazing.

It’s called getting anti strated. When you are the best team, everyone copies you and knows what you do. They are still very strong. They can bounce back, but every team at champions is really good. No match is easy.
