YaY is just a different beast. You can even see some of the xset players run away from him. One of the rounds, they spotted YaY and they all just rotated to not deal with him lol.
He’s honestly the best chamber player in the world right now. He’s a headshot machine which is perfectly good for the head hunter. Unlike other players who also have a high headshot percentage, YaY plays more robotic. He jiggle peeks everything and strafes every corner. Making him a deadly-high precision player.
same with cryo imo, 0:18 is a great example of how he carefully jiggle peeks everything.

Next year, XSET will undoubtedly become a team representing NA, just like Optic. Not yet consistent, but XSET has completely caught up with Optic now and is good at capturing the movements and thoughts of the opponent. Among them, the Zekken duelists look great, and think they are really good at fighting by making full use of cooperation with the team.
The biggest problem XSET has to overcome now is the persistence of the second half and It is to lose from the scene where the number of people is advantageous.

I dont follow valorant that much, how does this bracket work? Or the tournament I guess? How many days has it been, basically im asking how does it all work
So theres upper bracket and lower bracket. Everyone who qualifies in group stage is in upper bracket but if you lose to upper bracket you drop down to lower bracket and those who lost their upper bracket matches plays in lower bracket and youre eliminated if u lose ur lower bracket match
Suppose there are 4 teams (say A,B,C,D) in a group of a tournament and only 2 can qualify for playoffs. A fights B and C fights D. Let's say If A and C win their respective matches. Then they move on to the 2nd round. Then A and C have their match and let's say A wins. So A undoubtedly qualifies for 3rd round(playoffs). However, C , B, and D still have a chance. B and D lost their respective matches (in round 1). They fight each other and whoever wins that match then faces C (the loser of A vs C in round 2).
Let's say D wins. So D will qualify and face C.
Whoever wins that match qualifies for 3rd round (playoffs). Let's say D wins. So in the end, A and D are the ones qualifying for playoffs.
The idea behind this format is give every team a second chance if and when they lose. It's not a typical round robin format and matchups are made based on the seeding provided to the teams.
This format is applied on group stages as well as the playoffs (on a larger scale ).

I think we're so used to seeing Optic with a good performance that it kind of flew over our heads to even worry about them. Aside from that, XSET had a really good momentum going on this VCT so I can definitely see more people wishing XSET coming on top in this match-up.
