Andy Vs. Michael - Round 2

- Опубликовано: 19 окт 2023
- Buckle up, everyone. In this episode we are stepping into a role reversal, turning the microphone towards the man usually behind the scenes - show producer, Michael Shelton. With a wide-ranging discussion of the novel 1984, and conspiracies about the wildfires in Maui, Car Jitsu, and where the current social progressive idealogy may lead us, we are going on a roller coaster of emotions, information, and insight.

Good morning my fellow sadists. I hope you're all enjoying your coffee and passive aggressiveness in this episode.
I'm glad this was an hour. Andy and Michal, these are hilarious. No one would be upset at a full episode of this. Or a couple. Just saying. Have a good weekend everyone.
Andy your sense of humor is something else.
The humpty dumpty line was incredible
Ladies, get you a man that looks at you like way Andy looks at a FGM-148 Javelin
This needs to be a t-shirt
everytime I hear him talk about it he sounds so excited and it kills me 😂
These thumbnails lmao. Gold man. Gold.
We need more Andy v Michael on the regular.
Looking forward to Round 3!😂
Michael is gold, Andy.
He’s been sitting there this whole time!?!😊
Kudos to Michael for his references to 1984 and Black Sabbath. He has far better taste than many of his peers it seems. War Pigs is a masterpiece.
The thumbnail for this show….😂😂😂 Golden!!
Michael's cliff notes explanation of 1984 is like listening to a drunk uncle tell you about a Vietnam war story he heard from a guy who was there that he met a pool hall in Chicago in the 80s when he was working as an errand boy for a shadey Italian mobster to support his collage tuition to become a gym teacher.
Meaning... it's so randomly incorrect it's hilarious.
But all that aside, he got the spirit of the book and what it was warning people about right at least.
Please make round 3 with Michael about answering the inappropriate questions that come in for him.
Because I may or may not have sent in a few, and I like to laugh.
This couldn't have started my Friday morning off better!! These are some of my favorite episodes. Can't wait for the next one!
Holy shit the javelin part is hilarious
Andy has the best dark sense of humor
Yesssssss! Just what I needed!
Hey there sweetheart
@@billmorton6977 hey! How are you?
@@samneedsanap7802 I'm still just plugin along. Got another grand baby on the way
@samneedsanap7802 how have you been? How are the kiddos? Hope that y'all are doing great
@@billmorton6977 we’re doing well. Got my first senior this year so it’s been fun lol went on a kid free vacation and had an amazing much needed break
I love how Awake Michael is, solid job finding this guy Andy. He's impressive I already liked him but you guys should do a full show together every week.
I'm never get tired of listening to Andy playfully sh*ting all over Micheal. And the thumbnail for this video had me laughing hysterically before I even clicked on it! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The banter at the end of both of these Vs Michael episodes is amazing, lol.
President Eisenhower warned us to beware the "Military Industrial Complex" in his exit speech. He was a General in WW2. General Smedley Butler wrote an essay, War Is A Racket, in the 1930's. He was one of the highest decorated Marine officers ever to serve.
As an army vet I love ur sense of humor 😂
1984 is one of your favorite books and you can’t remember that the main characters name is Winston come on Michael .
Andy needs to read 1984!
Those missiles are $100k a pop but I've gotten at least $5k worth of entertainment every time I see the video so that's a good return IMO.
I absolutely love the thumbnail!
"Pitbull for the global elites"... last time I heard that was on the west coast. Dude that said it was wrapped in blanket and holding a sign asking for change while doing the fentanyl shuffle. A true intellectual indeed lol
Lotsa P this morning.
Nice work and have a great weekend.
I love when Michael makes the UPS references. I worked there for 16 yrs in management and that place is a masterclass in failed leadership techniques 😂. I finally left when I couldn't ethically take it anymore.
Definitely "at freeway speed!"
Thumbnail is epic!
Andy, you should do a comedy show on how you see different situations going on in the world right now. You are hilarious and truthful all at the same time.
Andy should run third party under the Common Sense banner.
I'd vote for him.
I’m impressed Michael that you picked out a song that is appropriate for our time right now. War pigs have the power
I think I missed part one and I will go back and watch. I love this tbh. Listened to it twice. Anyway, at 40:55 when Michael is talking about being concerned, I would there is a lot of "stuff" being pushed from MSM. And I would include local media as well. Maybe a little controversial but my thoughts. Anyway have a great week everybody! ✌️
OMFG Michal wins round 2 just based on the fact that he's read 1984 and Andy has not. Andy, buddy, seriously read that book. Actually its probably a good thing you haven't read it because you can read through a contemporary lens and recognize how so many of the predictions Orwell made way back in the day are coming true. Animal farm is a banger too and a really quick read. I highly recommend both of them.
Listening to the end while im drinking tea and playing a video game
Read 1984 and A Brave New World. Drugs and the thought police. It absolutely can and will happen. It’s based on history. Huxley was also Orwell’s teacher at one point. They disagreed with exactly how it would go down, but were both pretty on it.
Warpigs is a great song by the way…
Soylent Green and Fahrenheit 451, too 👍
It would be interesting to sit down and have a discussion on these topics with Andy and Michael. I have pondered many of these points in trying to figure out what the hell has gone wrong with this world. It is nice to see that others have reached the same viewspoints that I have.
The silent majority…
I dont see andy as a "cabal"pitbull , more like a labrador or golden retriever.
Also, it’s kind of shocking that Andy doesn’t know anything about 1984 that book was required reading in my senior English class. The book itself actually changed the way that I look at government, though I will say that there’s a stronger case to be made that Huxley‘s book brave New World is more applicable to our state of affairs than George Orwell’s 1984. There are a few similarities in our modern culture and 1984 such as front facing cameras on cell phones and laptops and the changing of language but if you read brave New World, it’s almost like a checklist you can go down and say yes, we do that. Yes, we do that. We also do that.
Anyone who thinks words are violence, has never experienced actual violence.
Hell yeah
I've been studying the various reasons of how and why people get sucked into various conspiracy theories and it's very fascinating to me. It's amazing at some of the wacky things that some people get sucked into believing in and with absolutely nothing to justify the belief. It's also aggravating and just plain scary! There is no shortage of BS out there for people to easy access but the things that teach skepticism and critical thinking are few and far between.
dude, give Michael a full episode.
John money use to make TV circuit rounds back in the day as well.
Hahaha is that the javelin shot hes mentioned before? Hilarious. I want one.
A favourite book and he can't even remember the name of the main character, class!
1984 audiobook is free on youtube
Had the “common sense” phrasing ban too, when I worked for the phone company, Also “fair” and “No Worries”
Yessir!
Try this one Michael, the 1st amendment isn’t about what you’re allowed to say it’s about preventing the government’s efforts to restrict what you say.
Unfortunately for some sheeple there is no right to be comfortable, not offended, feel safe or actually be safe in the constitution.
When I was a police sergeant I frequently had to tell people who wanted another persons lawful but awful actions policed “sir, it’s not illegal to be an asshole” they were not happy. This often was people of gen x or older to my suprise.
😂 the lock
That youtube thumbnail photo is sooo funny 😂 AI Generated?
They should do a Andy vs Micheal with Andy’s Dad.
Animal Farm is a good and scary read. "All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others."
How come no one goes for the seat recliner lever
im still stuck on space lasers
I really am curious on what ur relationship is and how u both got started together
"common sense" is a good one. I find many people use the catch all common sense to fobb people off when they are unable or unwilling to explain to someone fully how to perform a task.
Omg
The 10 year old javelin target
Frickin killing men
Eisenhower warned about the military industrial complex when he was president… he was the supreme allied commander in Europe so his opinions are likely well informed.
It’s the olympic regulation for scissors kick ? Swimmingly.
I think the guy that Michael got bored with and he tuned out was Nick Koumalatsos.

Doublespeak
Doublespeak is language that deliberately obscures, disguises, distorts, or reverses the meaning of words. Doublespeak may take the form of euphemisms (e.g., "downsizing" for layoffs and "servicing the target" for bombing),[1] in which case it is primarily meant to make the truth sound more palatable. It may also refer to intentional ambiguity in language or to actual inversions of meaning. In such cases, doublespeak disguises the nature of the truth.
Doublespeak is most closely associated with political language.
Examples: War is Peace
Freedom is Slavery
Ignorance is Strength
Almost sounds like the political speech we hear in the House of Reps right now.
Love the show. They may be softball questions, but are they? For some people these can be hard because they don't have a real sense of how the world works.
Thank you.
Bahahahahaha YAAAAAASSSSS!!!!
The Gentlest Generation 😂
I thought this was gonna be 45 mins of Michael trying to get outta side control 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
wow the javellin has some distance. now that's standoff
These thumbnails are killing me
New listener here, and really enjoy the show. Just an observation, but Mr. Stumpf. What is up with your persistent cough? Wishing you and your guests the best of health.
I'm getting over a cold that has likely morphed into bronchitis
2 ibu + H2O = RTD!
Also. I have the BEST answer you should have given to the guy at the hunting lodge!!
Q: how's it feel to be the pitbull of the global cabal?
A: Rrrrruff. (Rough). 😂😆🤣😆😂
Bro i swear that theres a law that says you can't buy land in hawaii unless you were born there.
They're $250,000 a pop😅
Andy, you CAN say or yell "fire!" In a crowded theater. It's not illegal.
I didn't say it was, I just asked him if he though you should be able to.
The First Amendment has nothing to do with allowing you to speak, only the government’s ability to restrict it. You can be held accountable under some circumstances for the byproducts of your speech such as inciting a riot or physical harm though, so strictly speaking yelling fire can get you in legal trouble or incur civil liability.
What's with Michael's lighting? Is he TRYING to be a creeper?
Read. 1984.
And read animal farm
How does Stumph not know 1984?
It had just never hit my radar. I’m reading it now
@@ClearedHotPodcast*Wasn't meant to be a ball buster comment. I appreciate your take on most topics and am looking forward to your post read comments. It's a fast & thought provoking read.
P.S.- I found your running from 5.0 across rooftops totally relatable. For a still unknown reason, as a (highly intoxicated) 18 yo infantryman I ripped a sink out of a titty bar outside Ft. Campbell sending water spewing everywhere. Got similarly chased, with similar results! Lol.
49:00
Wtf is going on with Andy’s shirt lmao!!!
I absolutely think you should be able to yell fire in a theater; keeps the fats on their toes.

You like freedom of expression, but you didn't like AG's rash guards...
I like many of AG's rashguards, my feedback to him was specific on just one, and was through the lens of the impact it can and will have on women participating in Jiu Jitsu, which is hard enough as it is. Freedom of expression does not mean freedom from feedback
@ClearedHotPodcast Well said, Sir. Thank you for your reply, it means something to me.
I thgoht michael was Asian??? Wth. He doesn’t know math at all.
No filter here. Sorry. Not sorry. Grow some skin.
