Thanks. You made a very nice vido about Trondheim even though you were there only a short time. I would say you really need at least a couple of days to fully explore Trondheim. There are several very nice museums to visit such as the Ringve music museum. For people living in this region of Norway Trondheim is not a small town, but a major metropolis, compared to the other towns in the region. I think there are about 250 000 people living in the city area so not a super small town.

Hi Hallvard, thanks very much for your comment and we are really glad you liked it. Yeah as this was a short stop on our 10,000 km road trip it would have ben nice to have some more time but we are happy we glad we got to see what we did. Yeah you are right, we liked it as although it's big population it still had an authentic town feel for what is a big town/city.

Hi both really enjoying your tour, in the last couple of days I have watched all of this tours videos so far, your format works very well. And having the exact same bike as you I must say you have handled some challenging roads, and difficult conditions very well. One of the major stand outs for me is how clean and litter free Norway is. I'm thinking of doing a Scandinavian tour next year, all being well, and being retired we have no time restrictions upon us. Looking forward to the next legs of your tour. Thank you.

Hi Stephen, thanks very much for commenting and encouraging words. We are really glad you have enjoyed the playlist so far.
Thanks, yeah there are some tricky sections of road that's made trickier with the wet weather and occasional heavy traffic but so far nothing the GS cant handle.
Yes the cleanliness of Norway struck us too! -the mentality of the people is shown by the respect they have for their country -it's such a pleasure to journey through the country.
Congratulations on your retirement -having no time restrictions to travel would be fantastic. -if you are thinking of touring other parts of Europe be sure to check out our other tours of Eastern Europe, Switzerland, Spain etc etc.
Looking forwards to hearing form you again and thanks for your comment!

Hi, Yeah we saw that on the news -the water running down the train tracks! We hope it improves soon!
The weather got good as we headed further north =).
We had Michelin Ananke adventures on and we got about 7000miles out of them they offered great grip and where actually not bad in gravel.
The Metzler Tourance Next 2's did about 6000 miles however on that last trip we didn't use the sides so much, so i would say they did really well -offered good grip in the wet. I've put the metzlers on again but to honest i would be happy with either tire.
If you only intend on road riding them maybe a dedicated road tire would be a good option.

@@steinarhaugen7617 No, it has not. That is just playing with numbers. A city is an administrative center, and the administrative center of trondheim has a much larger poulation than stavanger. Also, clearly stavanger is lacking in infrastrucutre as well, having no former or newer tram system, or e-bus system like Trondheim. In stavanger, you will mostly find small wooden buildings, in Trondheim you will find both small wooden buildings and a greater amount of art nouveau buildings and even some victorain style inspired buildings. Trondheim is not only the biggest of the two, but if you compare historical significanse there is not even a comparison.
