    I have problem with one hot plate when using my fuse box cuts out could it be element?

    • @eSpares
      @eSpares  7 лет назад

      Hi Cindy, It could be the hot plate or the control. Disconnect the power and check the control for signs of grease, burning or black marks as this may cause the problem. See another video: ruclips.net/video/1jpfYgotUC0/видео.html

      Hi Hugh, leave the hob off and allow enough time for the components to dry out, I would normally suggest you test the appliance with a meggar before switching back on. you can take it apart but try this first.

    actually all electric cookers are hard wired in plus i have that exact cooker in white and its hard wired in also 1 cooking plate on that is 2000 watts so 2000 watts plus 6000 watts equals 8000 watts plus a 13 amp fuse rating is only 3000 watts which is 3 kilowatts.

    good day, what could be wrong if 2 of my 4 plates are not going on, both the plates are on the right. I turn my knobs and no light goes on. for both plates(Note they share one light). So in short the one half is off and not working.

      Most electric cookers have a terminal block connector where the cable enters the unit. This often has metal 'links' that can burn if they were not tightened correctly. Check for signs of damage and replace if required. For more information see another video:

    Hello, what is the model of that oven?

    • @eSpares
      @eSpares  7 лет назад

      Hi Chris, the model of this cooker is an Indesit K3E1. If you are trying to confirm your model there should be a small label on the oven cavity surround that you can see when the door is opened. For more information finding your model detail see our website at: www.espares.co.uk/findingmodelnumbers

    can you replace the the top with induction type?

    • @eSpares
      @eSpares  8 лет назад

      +jay sharr Induction rings cannot be fitted to a standard electric ring controller so cannot be fitted to any cooker that is not designed for them.

    very nice but i just want to know why does a plate stop working what goes wrong ? it just stop working? no reason?

    • @eSpares
      @eSpares  6 лет назад +1

      Hi Chantelle, if either the hotplate has failed or the switch has broken would result in the hotplate not working, you can test the hotplate with a multimeter and check the switch but make sure the cooker is disconnected first.

    hi the plate turns red after a while everytime I turn it on is this normal ?

    • @eSpares
      @eSpares  6 лет назад

      Hi Sami, many elements can glow red when on full but to control the heat they should cycle on and off, If the other rings on half heat turn on and off for 50% of the time but the ring in question does not. The problem is likely to be the control (regulator) See these other videos:
