Fantastic Reg. Great insight to what I feel hunting should be about. I have started my hunting trip late in life and have found for me personally it's not about getting a deer on the deck, it's so much more than that. A great listen, thank you. You mentioned the use of thermals, I feel they greatly diminish the entire exercise and under values the deer itself. IMO only.

      Hi Qeull,
Your comments are much appreciated! I'm afraid the thermal imaging devices are here to stay, and you will never stop those people who don't get the connection or understand primal instincts about hunting. The challenges of using their ability and skills to actually hunt goes out the window. Yes it an unfair advantage to be able to detect any animal with any thermal imaging. These electronic devices are sinister and illegal to use whilst under fair chase. Anyhow there's a few people out there that are more interested in hunting these majestic creatures for their ability to evade hunters, myself included. Thanks Reggie

Good yarns Reg. I'm only 25 and have been bowhunting for 10 years. Bowhunting definitely keeps me out of trouble. Everyone is chasing bmws and high rise appartments. I'm chasing a 30+ inch sambar

Sounds familiar! I'd taken some fantastic stag's prior to getting my first 30-inch stag in May 1997. They are out there, but finding them?

Hey Reg, really enjoying your videos
You mentioned being able to do Samba vocalisations, are you able to make a video demonstrating different sounds they make?

Yeah, we are living in a global economic crisis now. An unwanted financial upheaval that's out of control. Unnecessary increased costs, in food, and our standard of living to fast track f--ken renewal energy. It's nice to get up the bush for some sanity. 😊👍

To true with the government approach, we pay to hunt them and they spent that money to slaughter em from choppers.
But not is all lost I'm In a group with at least 30 under 40 hunters good portion have children who will be raised hunting and fishing too.
