The boot situation is so hard! We have goats, chickens, rabbits, cows and sometimes pigs. I have 4 kids (8-14) that are in and out all day long. I hate the boots being inside because I worry it makes my house smell like a barn due to any 'muck' that is on them. We have 5 boot trays (one single, then 2 that are 2-tiers) by the door to accommodate everyone's boots (6 pairs of muck boots, snow boots, town shoes - though sneakers go in a cabinet if they're clean/dry). I wish there was a GOOD way to store the yucky boots and shoes. I was excited to see the end of your video, hoping you'd have some life changing advice... but alas. You struggle with it too. lol
You know what? I realized after seeing the comments what it was- it’s the fit! I have another western style shirt that I love, and I did really like this print. But the fit is just more boxy than I like. Funny how I couldn’t put that together on my own- but thank you for your help!
Love the video! Very motivational! As far as the Lysol disinfectant for laundry, it does need to go into your fabric softener container and the clothes has to soak for 15 minutes for it to disinfect. I love the stuff as well and it does work so good on towels and my hubby’s nasty work clothes! Lol
Yeah! They say to put it in the laundry softener compartment. They have a crisp linen scent and I’ve also been able to find the non-scented which I actually prefer. I love that the clothes come out smelling like nothing! 😆 Aka no funk!
Awesome job!! I like everything to be squeaky clean but, I can’t be in two places @ once so everyday, I do something. When I have more time, I clean more. Some things u must do daily, others weekly, others monthly. When I have extra energy, I go to town till my feet n my back can take it lol… it’s a great feeling to have a clean home n not have to be embarrassed if you have unexpected guests!!
Maybe try a shoe cabinet for the nicer shoes? And a boot tray for the muddy ones. Just to keep everything off the floor. Love the cleaning motivation! I actually don’t mind laundry, I try to do by category (my daughter and I’s delicates, towels, blankets, husbands clothes)
@@NaturallyBrittany Yes, boot trays for the win! Ikea has both great shoe cabinets and boot trays - keeps the dirt and mud off the floors and they just look neater sitting in a designated area.
It was actually just some pumpkin spice dish soap from Grove. :) I feel like dish soap does a really good job on floors. Oh and the pumpkin spice really gets me in that fall mood while it’s filling up. 😁
It seems like you don't love the shirt. It's a nice print, but I agree that it's something that looks better on the hanger in theory than it does on. I would feel the exact same way! As for laundry, I have been sorting by PERSON for the last year and it makes a HUGE difference. I do by person/zone (zone= bathroom, like towels and floor mats; living room-blankets, etc.)
You know I couldn’t put my finger on it until after hearing everybody’s feedback and trying it on again. 🙈 It’s the fit of the shirt that gets me! It’s almost like I knew I didn’t love it, but until I had to try and justify it to others I realized what it was! I have a similar western style shirt that fits so much better. Anyways thanks for helping me on this! 😘
Oh and I never thought about calling it by zone as well. That makes a lot of sense. I always do kitchen / cleaning towels as a ‘zone’. But that’s a great way to put it.

If you don't love the shirt 100%, return it. I've done that so many times, I buy something but don't love it and I think I'll end up wearing it and don't! Return and it get get something YOU love. :)

Use the shout color saver sheets when mixing your loads!!!! My family of 5 all have our own basket and I don't sort colors. They work great!
