I can relate to their pain as well. My ears are really sensitive, which is why I was always warned about fire drills in school. One time, I was at a rehearsal for a school performance (after school), and there I am, sitting in the auditorium like the quiet person I am, and then I hear someone over the P.A. System say that they were gonna be testing the fire alarms throughout the school. Well, once I heard that, I knew immediately that I wanted to leave the auditorium because there were at least 4 fire alarms in there and I knew that I was gonna end up suffocating from the horrible screech noise and the bright strobe light. When it went off, I went into one of my usual panic/anxiety attacks. I wanted to leave so badly, but my teacher told me and everyone else that we had to stay in the building. 😒 After the alarm finally shut off, I was relieved and thought that it was all over, but I thought wrong. The alarm went off again 31 more times, so it basically went off 32 times that day. I could barely even focus on what I was supposed to be doing because of the noise and the strobe light. 🙄😑 I was so glad when I was able to go home after rehearsal because I already dealt with enough noise for that day. This is also the reason why I was scared to use the bathroom at school during class and why I was afraid to be alone in the girls’ locker room during gym class. I would always try to rush when getting changed in gym class or when I’m using the bathroom during any of my classes so that I could just get back to class and not be alone anymore (yes, it may sound weird and dumb, but that’s how it was when I was in school. Plus, the bathroom was like a zillion miles away from my classes, so it was scarier walking through a long, quiet hallway just to go use the bathroom and then walk back, not knowing whether the fire alarm is gonna go off or not.)
Med noise speaker strobes should’ve been leveraged instead of those screeching horn strobes which sound more like electric whistles! My first fire drill made me think it was a real fire. When I first heard the horns, I thought it was the mic speaker statics, but as I turn, the strobes flashed! That was the worst Thursday of my life!

Oh, I hate it when fire alarms go off in public places, like the grocery store or school. I hated fire drills in school because my hearing is very sensitive to loud noises, which is why I got warned five minutes beforehand whenever there was a drill so that I wouldn’t have a damn panic or heart attack to the sound, but that’s just school. One year, I was at Walmart doing some Christmas shopping with my mom, and then one of the employees announced that they were going to test the fire alarm. Well, as soon as I heard that, I started to go into a complete panic because I didn’t wanna hear the alarm go off at the store. People always tell me to “just calm down” when the alarm goes off (mainly my teachers and my mother), but for me it isn’t easy to calm down when the fire alarm goes off because it scares me and it hurts my ears. Plus, the lights are always so bright, which I ain’t a fan of, but I’m used to it. My school alarm used to be a Simplex bell, but then during spring break in my senior year, they just had to switch it with the horrible screeching alarm. I’m able to handle videos like this, but I sometimes wear my noise-cancelling headphones so that the noise doesn’t hurt my ears as much.
Hey Same Too. I just was too scared to admit that I had a problem. Like I would be at school, a fire alarm goes off without me being warned. The worst example was in October 27th 2005. It was a Thursday and we were silent reading and when we were done, the teacher taught us some stuff, and then I noticed the fan turn off and the doors in the halls close, at that point my suffering was about to begin. And once it was over, we came back inside, and my teacher taught us about fire safety. And 30 minutes later the alarm goes off again. And this time we had to wait outside even longer. Which made it worse than the first one.
YO, I USED TO HAD THAT SAME ALARM AT MY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ONE TIME! But, Since I went to TLS school as for MS, We now have the non loud fire alarm sound. It only has Alarm sound and a voice frase.
@@joelevators9667 That's in the event there's an actual fire happening and people won't get confused as to whether they should evacuate or not. One possibility is that the alarm system is activated by a fire in a smaller area (stock room, mechanical room for example), the device that detected the fire gets destroyed by the fire and doesn't work anymore, the panel is reset and no more alarm signal is being received. May think all's well and ignore the alarm, next thing you know the fire spreads to the point where people are trapped and then it's too late for them plus a panic is happening. Those factors can delay the response from the fire department and that delay can literally cost people their lives. Better the nuisance of hearing the alarm while getting out of there and finding out it was a false alarm than ignoring the initial warning and then getting badly burned. At least, when the fire department arrives, hopefully, the building has been evacuated, the fire should still be relatively small and put out easily because of the early warning given and not ignored by resetting the panel without permission.
Had a fire drill in 1st grade where the alarms malfunctioned and wouldn’t stop. All of y’all that say “it’s fun until it stops and the alarm keeps going,” that is exactly what happened.🙃

That sounds like it could be a place from a Tornado Siren Madness cartoon.

I’ve seen you comment before
The out of sync is crazy
That's awful.

Lol 😆 👍
That hurts my ears so much Like soooo much!!😣😣😣

They were fine after. Lol, the little boy is now a rock guitarist 🎸 and has even been in a band all at the age of 15.
They LEGALLY are NOT allowed to silence the alarms. Only the FIRE DEPARTMENT can silence them. It’s not the end of the world either...
Aaron Productions Yeah people just need to chill! I would have enjoyed it a little.
That happens to me I'm going out the fire exit
Why not?
I collect them spectralert classics
If was the little boy I would be running around like there is a tornado
⚠️WARNING⚠️ TURN YOUR VOLUME DOWN!
That should be in the title

Fire Alarms not in sync are the worst. At least the fire alarms in my school are in sync
Had a fire drill in 1st grade where the alarms malfunctioned and wouldn’t stop.
All of y’all that say “it’s fun until it stops and the alarm keeps going,” that is exactly what happened.🙃
@@VehicularVortex so sorry that happened to you. That had to be traumatizing.
It sounds like a lil boy srceaming
Oh no fire alarm at shopping center
Thankfully, it was a false alarm.
The fact that the kids in the shopping carts are putting their hands over their ears so it’s more quiet
This sounds dreadful. As a teenager I started thinking of my high school's fire alarms as monkeys screeching into bullhorns and describing their dreadful sound as such. :)
Shopping for alarms is what I thought you meant, but the alarms sound while you were shopping
I thought someone would get that eventually! ❤😂
I hate loud noises and once i heard this exact sound and it freaked me out. Luckily there was no fire.
Sorry it reminded you of that. Those are my grandkids. 😃 ❤️

And the adult was calm
It was because they had announced that it was a false alarm immediately after it went off.
Same as school fire alarm
I'm having a dream of alarms
