To answer two of your questions:
1) As someone who was in High School in the suburbs of Cleveland, OH from 1988-1992, yes bullies really did act that way. Maybe things have changed for the better.
2) As a multi-instrumentalist that plays the drums, not only is playing any instrument a great way to release one's anger in a creative way (see: Heavy Metal, Punk Rock, et al.), with the drums not only are you doing that but doing it while HITTING something at the same time. Incredibly cathartic.

And useless bit of trivia: when the kids are celebrating after they think they’ve killed the witches, you see them jumping and cheering around a fountain? That’s the same fountain seen in the opening credits of “Friends!”

It's part of studio backlot where they have filmed hundreds of movies and TV shows. It's like a park with buildings all around it of different styles of architecture. That way you can film from different angles and it can look like a totally different type of city depending upon what is needed. There are a lot of TV houses across the street like Hazel, Bewitched and many other classic TV shows.

Love the fact that you're performing I Put a Spell on You. Its a great song, and when I saw Beans as a witch at the very beginning, I literally thought that was what was going through Beans' mind. "Yes, get your laughs now. When you go to sleep tonight, I'm putting a spell on you hooman!"

There are MANY covers of "I put a spell on you" out there and I have more than a few friends who believe it is Bette Midler who does it best. I still think CCR has the best version.

i like hocus pocus and paranorman. i usually watch both of them at some point in october. oh and its Kathy Najimy that plays Mary. she also plays a good part in the movie Sister Act (1 and 2) if you havent seen. and this 11:25 the man playing penny marshalls husband is her brother gary marshall if nobody knew that.

That statue of Winifred Sanderson, as recently as I KNOW, is still sitting at Disney Hollywood Studios theme park in Orlando Florida.
It was once part of a back lot tour, although I think the tour itself may have been discontinued in favor of creating space for their new Toy Story and Star Wars areas of the park.
