At our GP surgery we can only present one problem per one visit.
Same no way I would be allowed to do this.
Same !
Yeah and when it causes another problem its another appointment that you cannot get :(
I think that lady doctor with the student was brilliant! Usually your given just a ten minute appointment (if your lucky) and yes, it’s helpful to write things you want to mention down before going, but you really can’t expect EVERY problem to get an answer in that time as a general rule…if you have a lot, then ask for a double appointment…. So I say well done to that doctor, who was on the ball, fast, thorough and efficient! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💐
Thank u for ur kind words, the doctor is my sister 😁.
Wish my GP was half as helpful as the ones shown here. All the docs I've encountered treat you like a hypochondriac or ask you what you want them to do about your issue, like i'm the doctor. Ofcourse theres the obligatory pills they are eager to throw at you while ushering you out the door as fast as possible.
Sickening
Stay away!!!! 👍🏽
They generally as you what you are wanting to be done sbout your problems, just so they get an idea of what to aim for when offering solutions. If theres multiple options to help, then they could offer anything at all, whereas it eould be easier if the patient helps guide them down the right path of options (this happened when i brought up my anxiety with my gp for example).
But also yes, I completely get the feeling of disbelief and rushing when you tell a dr about your problems. If only the quality of doctors and gps were all consistently as helpful as the ones in this episode!
Here here
I have stomach pain all the time like 24/7 and I went to my go and he diagnosed me with unexplained stomach pain.. he google it .. like I already know I have stomach pain I just wanna no why?.!
@@User.ne238 I had stomach ache all the time going to the toilet a lot I got rushed into hospital and had emergency surgery for IBD colitis now have a colonoscopy bag so pls go back to your doctors and say pls can I get checked out for IBD just to rule it out
What a great GP mine usually just gaslight me and search it all up on the internet 😑
Same!
I should imagine with a camera crew present your Dr would be great too.
at least the doctors and nurses are doing the jobs perfectly
One time my GP literally googled my question infront of me and my husband and read the answer to me. I was speechless and when i got home, thats when I lost it. 🤣 Ive got unlimited data, couldve done it myself!
Literally same 😂😂😂😂
And ? I googled answers about medication and took it to my doctor and she prescribed it for me.😀win win
same 🤣🤣🤣
didn’t tho did you
I once when into a walk-in clinic, a GP on duty that day never heard of the name of my health condition and of specific medications.
On another occasion, other GP told me he never heard of lavender (herb with calming properties for anxiety), and asked me what lavender is.
And on third occasion, yet another GP left unattended my acute ear inflammation, when I asked to address it and give me some drops ointment for it. He said inflammation will pass by itself. I went to another GP and she was shocked it was not addressed, she said I could lose my hearing if not treated.
I wonder if those GP are actually doctors …. or should be doctors
Being a doctor is by no means an easy job, ever!
That girl is my best friend!!! Her name is Fathima Sulman! She is almost 13 now (:
When I go Doctors they say one appointment one problem only 🙄🤨
Mine normally says one bigger problem but then if we have a minor thing that isn't really worth making an separate appointment for we can get away with talking about that too. Her list was taking the piss a little though.
So they should, 2 problems max! Doctors only have 10 mins to try and treat you, by having a long list means they have to rush. It's not fair to everyone else waiting for an appointment as their's would probably be pushed back.
@@jessroche4677 some patients have complex health concerns, including myself. My Dr. knows that and I’m booked in for the appropriate time. Certainly not to take other’s time away, I’m far from that type of person.
@@jessroche4677 no they don’t. they used to have a time limit but they don’t anymore so appointments can now be longer than 10 mins
We all come in with an mot of problems because we are always told not to bother and don’t waste doctors time .......
Yes. Western medicine virtually doesn’t address any prevention or early diagnosis. They wait until it becomes chronic and can no longer be treated, then they address symptoms usually with painkillers.
Appalling state of medicine
Self referral for PT in UK!! 🥰
Omgosh
We have to be half dead to get a PC to refer. Insurance has healthcare frontlines running scared here.
US has the worst healthcare. :(
I’ve never heard of anyone self-referring for it here, so I don’t think it’s very common to get referred that way
Most doctors will usually only let you discuss one or possibly two things in an appointment as well
Consider yourselves blessed. Weeeeeeee!!!!!
I research and try to solve the problem myself
Dr ONLY as a last resort.
Absolutely no pharma unless desperate
Take care of ourselves nutritionally and physically
Usually works.
If you get really sick in the US, even with the BEST insurance
You’ll be in bankruptcy in two minutes
Literally file bankruptcy to save your home.
That’s our reality.
Hope the girls well yet
We may not have free medical in the US but don't have to wait for every little or large test/procedure.
I really enjoy your videos!
😒 Well given how expensive it is to see the doctor ($60), I too speak of several ailments in the one session......need to get my moneys worth after all! Cannot afford to pay out $60 X 5, to sort out five different issues.
it's free here
healthcare is free in the uk
....Yes. I know the NHS is "free" in the UK. Unless of course you use a private doctor... I am not in the UK.
@@alexkavanagh6513 ...I wish you got over the idea that treatment here in the UK is 'free'. It's free from the actual point of service, but a tax payment or 'contribution' is made on everyone's weekly or monthly earnings that covers any existing or future NHS treatment.

do you really only get 10 min with the DR? ..sounds crazy to me and a wating list for treatment?
Love watching this
They are under observation of course they will act differently.
It’s ridiculous how you can say one thing that’s wrong with you I do think if it’s little things they should do 2 as now it takes you weeks to get an appointment if it isn’t urgent the doctors are not like this at all
Dr Sonia Ashraf I should be polite and give her name bless her!! 🙋♀️👍
Thank u, she is my sister
My gp never gives appointment and asks to ring back as appointments are finished. Since I gave birth my stitches have been aching and 4months later I finally got an appointment
How is she feeling today
I have sever exma
Think these days you do feel rushed not nice
EverythinK.....very British. I'd not be able to help but correct them if it were my Doctor
Looks like Pakistan
go away Annie no one wants that kind of nonsense here. Bit rich from someone who's picture is of a dog

10 min bless your hearts how do you Dr do it .🙏✌️💙🤍
it isn’t 10 mins anymore. this is old so things have changed & appointments can now be longer than 10 mins
