Imagine finding out you have endometriosis and you’ve probably had it for ages and had no idea it is going to be so hard for her to conceive my heart goes out to her
This is why we *have* to dismissing women's health issues, and start actively educating women and girls that it's NOT NORMAL to be in debilitating pain, that intimacy shouldn't be painful (unless you want it to be) and your body's natural abilities aren't 'gross'. We need to actively investigate these problems and address them instead of going, 'yup, off you go, all women have pain, it's normal'. Conversely, we also need to listen women who wish to remain child free, and stop infantalising them or acting like they're off their heads for knowing their own minds. You know - like we treat men.
The first doctor was so kind. She gave her patient the facts. And although the patient came in upset with tears in her eyes, she left with some hope and a smile.
@@adriannasmith6931 No I physically can't have kids anymore from my surgeries, endo is alot more complex, especially when mixed with adenomyosis and adhesions. I'm happy to just adopt if I want kids one day and give them a better life. :)
Not sure if this will help but the lady that had an ovary & fallopian tube removed I had LOTS of problems getting pregnant. Eptopic pregnancies were an issue to for. My doctor told me to roll my legs over my head for 15 to 20 minutes immediately after sex & it worked for us 3 times. The other 3 pregnancies were Eptopic or miscarriages but all 3 times I did what the doctor told me to do I had 3 successful pregnancies. Hope she sees this and it works for her as well. 🙏💗💙🥰
In what way?! I’m presuming you mean the young woman discussing her mirtazipine ? In which case, the Dr was perfectly fine? I don’t understand what you’re getting at..?
She's already on two heavy pscyh medications. She's not unhelpful at all. She's literally just trying to give her the tools she needs to build better thought processes for herself and to become more in control of her anxiety. This will only benefit her and her son. Antidepresant regimes take a long time to adjust given the nature of mental illness and the potential health consequences of stopping one of these medications suddenly. When I was coming off mirtazipine it took 2 months of weaning down with GP supervision. The doctor was very sympathetic and helpful.
She didn’t have a miscarriage, she had an ectopic pregnancy, meaning the baby wasn’t growing where it should and the baby had to be extracted for the health of the mother
@@ella-bt8hp it’s a weird mix to be giving. Sertraline is an upper like adderall in a sense , and Mirtazapine is pretty much a hardcore knock out med for people with anxiety / depression . The body is going through way too much doing this
We are getting the cost of sequencing down so more people will get an early diagnosis of genetic risk factors they carry and perhaps make slight lifestyle changes to reduce those risks. Alcohol and caffeine doesn't seem to be good for many women.
Eat more fibre. You’re straining because you’re a bit constipated - get plenty of water into your diet & lots of fibrous foods (fruit, vegetables, wholewheat / whole grains etc). This also isn’t a doctor channel, you should see your local nurse practitioner or Dr.
Yes go see ur Dr, it can be colon cancer. Not calling it on u. Just to be on the same side or it can be dried poo which irritating and causing u to bleed.
This was the worst sugery I was ever a patient at, destroyed the quality of my life, they really treat people worse than cattle, as they was in front of cameras they acting all nice, please don’t get me wrong the doctors anywhere are always nice, even doctors as this surgery was nice, it was the desk that was terrible, no empathy whatsoever. I changed surgery this year, I wish I had done years earlier.
That poor first patient I hope she's had better luck since then
Bless her, seems like she’s been in pain and suffered for a while with her endometriosis pain and just bared it.
I was diagnosed with endometrioses when I was 18. Had 5 children since.
I was told I was infertile, got cysts and polyps on both ovaries I'm now 18 weeks pregnant. 🥰
@@nathalieharkins8904 congratulations! I hope all goes well and get a beautiful and healthy baby.

This is why men should get a vasectomy. Like me.

@@wajeehamalik1991 You’re welcome. ☺️
I have stage 4 endometriosis and it’s the worst thing a woman can suffer from. The tears in Heather’s face really hit me hard.
I was diagnosed with stage 3 at 16 I've had 2 surgeries now we don't think I will ever have kids and I'm only 18 now

Thank you, useful tips. Do you mean lift (not roll)legs over the head ?
How has she not been told before about her diagnosis .
She would have been told in the hospital but people sometimes don't take it in in acute situations.
vegetarian cat hahaha. i thought the same when the lady said it
Cats need meat to survive 🙂 dogs can be vegetarian
The 2nd doctor could of been more helpful. The patient looked as if she was going to cry :(
I get what your saying but i feel like she was just very tired.

I didn’t think you was supposed to mix Mirtazapine with sertraline . I thought it causes serotonin syndrome
I've been on both of those medications before. So I'm not sure tbh never heard of that.

@@taggy193 Sertraline isnt an upper or downer. It is a stabilizer.
I'm on these medications right now 😳 will check this out not heard about serotonin syndrome!
I'm on both currently with no issues. It's mentioned on the leaflets as a rare possible side effect but they're commonly prescribed together.

Go see your doctor!!!
Doctor obviously. Not to be rude but it’s common sense, it can be anything from a tear in your anus to bowel cancer.
Speak to your GP asap!
