Did the Corsica Tour some 14 years ago with Beach Motorcycle Adventures. Munich to Florence, then to the ship below Pisa. 6 days in Corsica then ferry to Nice. On to Interlaken & the Alps, back to Munich. A great ride. Will be following this one.

I have also noticed when on rides that getting to the ferry on time is always high stress, I guess it's because when riding you normally make your own time. Nice hand cover on the speedo BTW...
Yeah the problem was our original ferry booking was departing 3 hours later than the one it got changed too 🤣🤣 Fortunately Emily remembered in time for us to give it some and get there with 5 minutes to spare 🤣 this was a bit too close for comfort lol

You both must of had your heart in your mouth catching the ferry. I used to like the ferry from Le Havre to Portsmouth as it was very spacious, lots of restaurants, swimming pools, bars with a band etc. I hope the banging rope did not keep you awake too much. Plenty of coffee in the AM. I really enjoy watching your Chanel and your little holidays on two wheels. Thank you for making the films and for bringing us along for the holiday.

Hi John, that was one of our concerns too but actually it doesn’t really make a difference and it’s really light. Although I’m not recommending people do this you can remove the jacket back protector and ride with the jacket unzipped in the knowledge that the vest will protect us. It feels like a seat belt now and we don’t even know it’s on.
That’s nice of you to recognise, indeed it is a lot of work making these (especially now we have a front and back camera lol) but the more people that enjoy them the we want to make them 😊.

Looking forward to this tour, roads and scenery look perfect, but just wondering why you don’t have like a fixed 360 insta camera, to save poor Emily’s arm.
Corsica is amazing and the roads kept getting better! =) We dislike the warped fisheye footage that the 360 camera gives and prefer the true linear. The front camera is permanently mounted which helps a lot.
There is always an element of stress / uncertainty linked with ferry / tunnel crossings.... I know it all too well living here in the UK! Well done for making it on time! :)

Then there was so much traffic on the road and everyone seemed to be driving slow in the overtaking lane.

Next time buy a telebadge ! It’s cheap and you can use special lines in péages which are quicker.

Yeah the ferry is great! And saves on a nights accommodation too! We have a lot of these around here to connect the island countries. 😎👍🏻

No tank bag this trip huh? What are your thoughts of the BMW connected ride navigator?
Not for this trip as we thought we would be leaving the bike unattended during the day, although we did miss it! Got used to having everything conveniently in front of us 😄.
Very impressed with the Navigator, we made the route using calimoto and put the GPX files onto it without any issues, it followed them perfectly (although it becomes one continues line without waypoints).
@@SeanandEmily did you try using the BMW app to build routes? They link to your navigator automatically if you’re signed into your BMW account on both bikes. Really works well I thought!
That’s cool, but we haven’t tried the BMW route planner as the calimoto app seams to be working well. Great to have options though 😊
Wow can't believe how cheap it is in the off season, last 2 years in August has cost us around 800€
Goodness me that's steep! We also got the hotels for a great price too as you will see later in the series. The only down side is the water is too cold to swim in (comfortably) and a lot of restaurants are closed. However the empty roads more than make up for this!
@SeanandEmily yeah the roads are usually much busier in the holiday seasons, still looks fab and the weather is massively improving
Sorry to disappoint you but that's not a luxury cabin, just a normal 4 man cabin. All cabins, (inside and out) have bathrooms. I find the best cabins are on Stena Line ferries. Enjoy anyway 🤗, ride safe.
It said exclusive cabin with porthole on our ticket. It felt luxury to us 🤣😂

In Europe especially I think in France you get to stop and pay another road toll, just before reaching the 5th gear, lol.
In the US most if not all got rid of the toll boots and either reading the plate number or the tag on the windshield.
If not registered you get a letter with $$ in the mail.
And the US is not as advanced as Europe..
Yeah it's pretty annoying stopping all the time to pay 1.60 for a 5km stretch of road then again for the next!
There is an electronic box you can buy but i tell myself i will never need it 😂
