Pati A Mexican lady showed me to put a little water on your tortilla press underneath the bottom piece of plastic... Then that piece of plastic stays in place! :)

That looks really good! I made your recipe for chochoyotes, but I did them in different colors, blue corn, yellow corn, and white corn dyed with cilantro juice, powdered tomato, and red chili. In a light chicken broth with vegetables and flavored with epazote and cumin.
