Nice ride! I have one too. I like the windshield! Where did you get it? A couple of upgrades I did which I would recommend are a suspension seat post and a better seat! Also, the stock tires and tubes are terrible. I bought two high quality tires and tubes, and it rides much better! YES, I lost about 1 MPH, but I just do not care. I have spent hours going through the settings trying to figure them out. Are you aware of any guide (besides the manual) which explains the function of the settings? I like to ride on the beach, and am working on enclosing the controller in a waterproof enclosure, though it is rated IP 65 (somewhat water proof and dust proof).
Thank you for the positive comments. I got the windshield from Amazon. It was under $30. Basically mounts onto the headlight brackets. It was meant for a motorcycle, but I made it fit on the AQ177. I just bought the HEB brand tires on Amazon. They came complete with 2 thick tube's and thicker tires as well. Much better quality than the stock tires for sure. I have everything set to max out it's performance and 31 MPH is the best that I got. My next thing is going to be a 3000w or 5000w, 72v, 100 amp kit. RASPYRIDES has modified many ebikes and his AQ177 will top out at 70+ MPH. I will be posting some new videos and will be doing more mods soon. If you haven't done so already, like and subscribe to my channel. You will be notified if there are new videos uploaded. Thanks for watching.
i bought the AQ177 duel drive version 1000w rear 750w front, wish it had turn signal indicator on the screen and front turn signals and that it was made of aluminum my frame came scratched and is rusting at 1500 miles and it only hits 29mph but is advertised at 33 I've hit 31.7mph but that was going down hill and the wind at my back but I average 29mph, 4 mph is meaningful at these speeds. it also does not save drive settings, I go into settings and set the drive settings to front and rear drive but when I turn the bike off and turn it back on it goes back to rear drive so I have to change it every time I start the bike "real irritating". the head light is awesome compared to the arial rider grizzly v2 "the only other ebike I ever used". all ebike tires suck, get scooter tires when you order your bike unless you enjoy fixing flats (or motorcycle tires depending on the size of your wheels). the battery is pretty awesome I drive about 28 miles and it only loses about 1-2 mph about 3/25 of the way. I really recommend an aluminum framed bike this thing is just stupid heavy. I do not recommend this bike to novice riders, I do recommend this bike to people that want to modify it because it is not refined it's Software needs work because it does not save settings.
