just what i expected.... start the petition for the Weird Paul Museum to be constructed!
+STEVE HEROLD I do hope that someday there will be some kind of curation of my stuff somewhere!
You've got my vote
I agree Steve. Paul has a top museum at home that should be seen by more people!
Hmm. Guys! Man not very nice of collection that has cost both in terms of value, or in the case of collections that do not cost what concerns need to be hard-to-find items, a collector's item, like low prices, but struggled to find. Then the collections thrown and you sell expensive and not integrated in the whole. So what I mean. I would also like to do some inherited and kept that collection. Or to sell it at auction as a whole, but the collection remained intact. Too bad for the world as a collection of stamps and valuable and ignorant someone would throw them out. Although the decline in the price rise of the other, but at the cost of destroying other specimens. But what, let's look at it this way. One day there will be earth or the sun. Nothing material lasts forever. Until then, this might rejoice in others. At least do something a person has it.
Steve: Good idea, I thought about a family museum or collection that would collect other relatives, sometimes sold some, but overall the collection grew, the museum was done, people would have watched, and some even paid. Collections would be whole. But this can not afford, and moreover, the temptation for others in need of money, what is valuable to sell, they devour money, not everyone knows how to save. There will only worthless collections, like cigarette cartons, wrappers from chocolates, cigar labels, beer mats, nobody sells. Because of these things, not worth the post museum. When it comes to celebrity, chances are that someone looks even his collection of movies, magazines, although they will not scroll.
I would literally have the time of my life just sitting there going thru the boxes with you. Awesome video!
+Heather Heaton I would too! There's a story behind almost every thing I have!
Legendary
:)
Sooooooo retro! What a great house!
+Robert House (Mr New Vegas) Thanks!
I consider myself a pop culture historian, but you...You're the king. Dang man. This is a historians dream.
I was having a terrible day and then I decided to click on your video because you looked interesting. Your brand of nostalgia made my day so much better. I'm a permanent follower now!
Thanks and I am really glad!
its strange watching this knowing its made for youtube even though its feels like home video found footage.
i enjoy collecting anything star wars related
You might like my Star Wars collection videos, like this one: ruclips.net/video/wr_tOczB9XA/видео.html
Let me say first that I love your Rush poster! You have so many cool items. I grew up in the 80's and had 2 older brothers born in 70 and 76. We all loved to collect and had appreciation for "weird" stuff like you do such as the graphics on food boxes. We were always recording on cassettes and taped a lot of commercials and shows off of tv to VHS. I miss those days and it's great to see others with the same interests as me. I just discovered your videos and I'm hooked! Keep up with the great work! :-)
Thanks Amanda! I got that Rush poster in 1986 I think it was. I'm glad you like my videos, there's always more on the way!
I'm amazed about your Manga and Anime collection, that's awesome!
I'm surprised you never got into Laserdisc collecting, I got into that for a while when everyone was dumping their collections in pawn shops in favor of DVDs.
But lol, I've made shelves out of old VHS tapes, a few stacked horizontally at each end with some old planks of wood I found.
+Larry Bundy Jr Thanks! I love that stuff, and honestly I just don't have enough time to watch and read all of it!
I think I never got into laserdisc collecting because I still never have gotten a player. The same thing with videodiscs (though my dad has a lot of those).
ORIGINAL VLOGGER 80'S WEIRD PAUL
It's definitely worth owning one if you ever find one for sale. there's quite a few movies from the 70s and 80s on it that have never been released on DVD, even VHS in some cases.
+Larry Bundy Jr Can you name a few of these movies?
Larry Bailey
Not off the top of my head.
@@Larry do you still have the shelf
That’s awesome that you kept everything. I always traded or sold my stuff away and then got older and now I regret it. Nothing seemed sentimental back when your young but you think about it now and wish you had it... Thanks weird Paul for the cool videos!
One of my favorite videos. Thanks, Paul!
You're my new favourite RUclipsr Paul. I'm also called Paul, I'm from Scotland and I'm around the same age as you and remember all the stuff in your videos! absolutely fantastic content, keep it up mate. Much love from rainy Scotland!
your videos are honestly relaxing and interesting to watch, thank you
LIKE THIS IF PAUL SHOULD MAKE "ORIGINAL VLOGGER" MERCH
He sells "Weird Paul" shirts and lots of his music on CD and DVD for sale on his website.
Absolutely love this. Making me wish I had kept more stuff. Must be close to genuine time travel to be able to go back to so many amazing vintage items. Cool as the other side of the pillow.
I guess that is what it is like. When I was a kid, I asked my dad to build me a time machine. He explained to me that it wasn't possible. So I learned to make my own time machine.
I love that thought. We are never more clever than when we were kids.
all those memories, fantastic video. thumbs up for your channel from Portugal, keep up the good work.
+Emanuel Espírito Santo Thank you Emanuel! Glad you enjoyed it!
I love your videos, I find it incredible that you kept all these things. It seems like you were always aware of the passage of time, of the fragility of objects and moments. It's endearing to see how you treat all of your things and the memories attached to them with the same amount of respect and preciosity.
Thanks Lorenna. It's nice to hear from people who understand.
Paul!! I loved it man. Thanks for taking us on a tour of your spot. I am really interested in seeing more of your vinyl collection. It's massive! My oldest daughter said your manga collection is incredible, and she's jealous of it. Very, very cool. Salute, sir.
+Todd E Walnuts Thanks! I will definitely be doing more vinyl videos! I have had a couple people ask to see more of my manga so that may end up in a video as well.
Awesome.
Thanks for the tour Paul. Top banana!
You have a huge collection of goodies.
I wish I kept stuff from when I was a kid!
Keep collecting and making vids.
Have a great day mate.
Rich.
+richard therrien Thanks Rich! I have lots more videos coming up!
I graduated high school in 1985 in suburban Chicago. I can so relate to so much of your collection. Thanks for the awesome videos Paul! 🙂
Thanks Mark, glad you are enjoying them!
Very neat look at your collections Paul. Thanks for posting!
+Mike Fizzle Thanks for watching Mike!
You're the real deal Paul. Keep on rockin' dude!
Thanks Major Jay!
If u ever turn your house into a museum I will be the first in line.
+snakehips3131 See you there!
ORIGINAL VLOGGER 80'S WEIRD PAUL maybe when you die you’ll be buried with VHS tapes and your house will a museum full of treasures from your childhood from the 70’s And 80’s
@@officialdominos5750 *cringes with fear*
kstie Wagner productions oh god, I’m so sorry that you are seeing my childhood self~
@@officialdominos5750 ok ye
6:40 - I remember having to hide all my anime DVDs too man... ;)
Great stuff, per usual, Paul. Someday, I hope to have a smörgåsbord to rival yours.
+Ron Joe Thanks! I had the anime in front for years...finally I said, why do I have the anime in front, I need to get these classic 80s movies in view!
Cool house!! You have a collection of everything, an well organized "mess".
The idea of the museum is incredibly interesting! It would be on my top list of touristic places to visit!
+buruno2m Thanks! I try to keep it organized, otherwise, how could I find anything to make my videos? :)
yes! It's very organized, and you know the right places in your head.
I had 50 VHS tapes in my house and recently rediscovered my old VCR my parents got it in 2004 and haven’t seen it since 2008 when I was 6 and I found 44 out of 50 Of my VHS tapes according to my mom we sold them but I mostly buy more VHS tapes at the thrift store
I've never said this about anyone's room or house tour but I'm super jelly with this one great collection man.
Thanks Vance!
Not a problem.
Great collection! You reminded me I have to pick up the Colecovision steering wheel. Thanks for sharing!
I'm pretty sure my main goal in life is to be a master collector like you!
Get started early!
Great collections Paul! I could spend days in your game collection!
+Mike Rowsdower I am pretty sure you could!
Brilliant video and very interesting! Thanks for making and sharing it Paul!
+Heramitep Thank you, I appreciate you watching!
Awesome collection Paul!!! Thanks for the tour.
+Daniel28021991 Glad you liked it!
WOW thats alot of stuff!! awesome collections man! i wish ive saved as much stuff from my childhood like you have!
Thanks! All I do is beat myself up over all the stuff I got rid of...I need people to remind me how lucky I am that I saved what I did.
your welcome man, love the videos to ! keep doin what your doing its awesome! its cool to see how much of your life is on video, that must be a special feeling c:
Thank you! It's special, maybe not in the way everyone would think...the videos have kind of replaced my memories a lot of the time. I don't really remember doing a lot of the stuff, but I can still see it on the tapes.
thats still really awesome man :)
dude you sir have it all and some very interesting stuff at that great stories aswell keep on being you
Thank you!
This is fantastic. You make me feel like such a minimalist.
thats actually pretty cool.... im working on getting my room as retro as possible... anyways cool retro room!
+GameDemand Entertainment Co. Thanks! I still have work to do to make it even more manageable!
I really enjoyed the tour, Paul! And it was really cool to see you had something I helped make - the C64 DTV plug & play joystick!
Wow you helped make that! I love it, it's so cool that Sword of Fargoal is on it!
Yes, though did you notice it's a little buggy? The old BASIC code had to be patched to work without a keyboard and in the process a small bug was introduced - you can sometimes jump over a monster into the wall!
Also, did you know about the easter eggs we hid in it? Wiggle the joystick left and right quickly while the introductory blue screen appears, while LOAD"*",8,1 is being typed out. If you do it right, it'll become LOAD"$",8 and a listing of hidden programs will appear, including my little games Splatform and Minima Reloaded, and some other games by my friends.
Woah, thanks for the tip!
Great video. Just subbed, I dig the Thrift Store pick-up videos too. Nice to see an original NES Controllers box 9:17 ... Great collection!
Thank you and thanks for the sub!
Excellent showcase of your whole room!-Mr. Garrison.
+NG2CNetwork Thank you sir!
like your video. I like the most ur video games and vinyl collection. but other than that you make me want to go vintage with my life.
Thanks Wes!
Awesome pop culture collection in a little space.
geez!! I love your house. Don't ever stop collecting us collector's have to stick together and keep it alive I love my local thrift stores I collect everything just like you show more videos like this I could watch a DVD if you made one with you just doing stuff like this on it 👍✌
A lot of these videos of my collections actually did air on the local TV show I had on last year!
Sorry not much to comment because I was just so fascinated and glued to the monitor. I swear when you opened up that home movie box I almost had the feel of opening the briefcase from Pulp Fiction.
+The Vloginsons I'm glad! I was worried people would be bored, it's so much longer than my usual videos. I guess those tapes need a storage place more in line with their stature lol
Thanks for that insight into your life, Paul.
+Ryan Talbot Thanks! And thanks for subscribing!
very cool collection of stuff!
+Trish Mullins Thanks Trish!
amazing Paul great video !
+Fexican Kringle Thanks!
Cool rooms man! I wanna see a museum!
Legendary video! My museum, is small. But! Some rare things.
This Rules,it's Rad to See you have a Dario Argento Section! I just got to See the Goblin Play A Show here in Portland and they Played Argento and Romero Montages projected big behind them to match each song(my faves where the Susperia songs),It was awesome,Thanks again
that VHS and NO collection is just awesome :D Someday i will have a collection Line that. :)
+Jurgen Aldana I hope that someday you do!
Cool video, cool collections Wish I still had most of my audio tapes. You own quite a huge audio collection. Hope you make a vinyl vlog, both LP and 45s. Great stuff!
+Robert Nunez Thanks Robert! I will be making some vinyl vlogs, and I have already made a few! Here's one on the 45s - ruclips.net/video/qSj3qQxJ-68/видео.html
I love RUSH! Nice games collection!
Thank you!
Wow, big massive collection you've got there👍
Thanks. It's actually a little bigger now.
Yes as said very blessed. You are into so many things like me. We are one with better things. Have you ever missed the way things were in the past? And got into things you own and feel things are back to normal? A lot of the time the world can distract us from the great things we love. I have found it hard to find time to read now. It is the only thing i am lacking in with what i enjoy.
Unveiling mysteries! Thanks Weird Paul!!
+Dez D'Outre-Tombe (Black Metal Shaman) Glad you enjoyed it!
Recently discovered this awesome channel. And I see you have FLCL in your manga collection. Nice!
+Stephen Garrett I'm glad you are checking it out Stephen! I love FLCL!
Great collection! that would be awesome if you made a museum!
+theblindowl Thanks! My girlfriend has been talking about doing a kickstarter to make it happen. I am too busy to even think about doing it, though!
Awesome collection!!
+nanoc22 Thank you!
Reminds me of the footage of Daniel Johnston's home. Very awesome home :)
i realy enjoy your you tube chanel i am realy into colecting stuff from the 80s it was a great
era and my favorite
Thanks Matthew! Glad you are enjoying it!
I tried lifting a big pile of vinyls from my parents house and damn the weight. I never grew up with them so I was surprised how heavy the things are LOL it's nice to see people still enjoy them though. I have to admit the artwork is beautiful on those big sleeves
The artwork is my favorite thing!
Nice collection! keep it. I collect cassette tapes too.
You freakin' rock, Weird Paul!!!
+Katy Norwood Thank you Katy!
I love that you have such a prominent Jess Franco section. I also spied the Phil Hardy Horror Encyclopedia, a true treasure trove to have in the days before the internet.
That Phil Hardy book changed my life back in 1991 when I bought it. I've seen a great portion of the movies in it now. I've seen 109 Jess Franco movies!
@@weirdpaulp I'm pretty sure that's when I bought my copy. It's been like a bible. 109? Awesome. Not sure how many I've seen but it's up there. Glad to see him on Blu-ray and DVD versus those awful bootlegs I used to buy from Video Search of Miami and such.
Remember that? I could barely see anything in Fury in the Tropics, the picture was just blobs of color.
@@weirdpaulp Ha...yep. I was pretty easy going about that stuff but VSOM sent me one Joe D'Amato film that looked like it was a scrambled broadcast from space. Truly unwatchable. Only time I ever asked for a refund from him and he gave it to me.
Thanks for the look around Paul :)
+Mr Stella Box Head No problem, hope you liked it!
Was everything I expected and then some!! :)
I see you are a Go-Go's fan too. I finally saw them perform when they put out the God Bless the Go-Go's CD. Everyone signed my CD except Gina Shock.
+Peter Wulf One of my all-time favorite bands! Wish I had seen them live!
I love The game system ordessy. Great

Aw man Jeff, that is SO sad.
Man, I would love to root around your collections! Can I pop in the next time I'm in America? :-)
Great collection! May you never have to move!!
+Husqv 51 Thanks! The only way I will move is if I become rich and then I can afford to!
Wow! Being a kid from the 80s, I could spend hours in your house! So cool you've saved things most of us have forgotten about! Do you have a video up on your board games? If not, could you do one?
+lphelps73 Thanks, I am glad you enjoyed it! So far I have this one on Bionic boardgames - ruclips.net/video/Y7xt3w-De7Y/видео.html and this one on my own homamde board games - ruclips.net/video/gYynqnrknAI/видео.html
Once I hit 10,000 subscribers, I am going to start making regular videos with my mom where we look at all kinds of stuff at her house and she has LOTS of board games!
+ORIGINAL VLOGGER 80'S WEIRD PAUL Thank you for taking the time to respond! I know you have a huge following and it must be difficult to answer all posts....Also thank you for those links.....I will check them out! Looking forward to future videos with you and your Mom! ☺
+lphelps73 No problem! I think if someone takes the time to comment, I should take the time to respond! Maybe someday I won't be able to do that, all the more reason why I should do it now!
It's retro heaven!
+TheEpicElluminati It's getting there!
It is wonderful to keep everything you get. 👍
Yes, but of course I don't. There's not enough room. If it's not collectible or useful, then I get rid of it. I know what to keep!
Diggin the retro games and Curse of the Werewolf poster with Oliver Reed
Dude can you plz watch my new video and comment on it telling what you think.
Please i don't know if anyone likes it
I miss this stuff, but I'm happy to have a little.
Your house is super awesome!
We need a Weird Paul museum!
+Sepehr Bundy Thank you!
Awsome collections.
Thanks!
huckleberry hound, wacky races, top cat! thats so awesome
+parkingclube Thanks! I love those old Hanna Barbera shows, I grew up watching that stuff!
This is best Pauls movie. My opinion. My favorite video. :-)
I love the rush poster at the end
+Brock Burkhart Thanks! I've had that poster for about 30 years now!
wicked awesome collection!! I envy you
Thanks Brandon!
Weird Paul. You are so awesome I am a new fan.
Thank you Clayton!
Awesome, you should do a video of all your childhood toys
Your files of "disorganization"
Are awesome

I guess it must be! It definitely isn't hell!
Legendary video. :-)
new subscriber here, great vid weird paul.
Thank you Marcus! Thanks for subscribing!
thats great another arcade game that i realy like is galaga it is an 80s clasic i hope that some day arcades will come back in canada
I played that Galaga game in the arcade that weekend, too! It was a special arcade game convention, they had hundreds of games set up to play. I played for 8 hours straight!
Awesome, WP!!
EDIT: Dude! You should totally pull that C64 back out and fire it up! There's a massive underground of support including new software and hardware.
I do need to get it out, I promised I'd make another C-64 video this year. I'm running out of time, it's already October!
@@weirdpaulp It is crazy with Commodore It is always being used all over the world.
Nice rush poster at the end!!!
+Curtis Thanks Curtis! I have had that since 1986 I believe!
You should backup all your archives on a M-Disc that last for more than 1000 years
I didn't know about them...are they expensive?
Hey Weird Paul... Your house is awesome! Do you have the movie ghoul school? Or the video dead? What about sleep away camp? Remember "Runk the punk" lol.... Oh and do you remember Amazon Woman on the moon? Lol
+Streetwhore8te4 Thanks! I have seen Sleepaway Camp and Video Dead but I don't have either of them. Amazon Women on the Moon is hilarious! I love the part with Monique Gabrielle as the centerfold who is naked in all the crazy places, including church!
You are smart and awesome.
How the hell do you dust everything, Paul?!
