This was the most partisan SOTU address ever in our history! Never has a SOTU began with such a verbally violent attack on another huge segment of our population. Never has a whole party been called a threat to democracy. Never has a president had the vicious gall to claim from one side of his mouth that he's for unity while from the other side just about calling for rounding up the entire opposition for prosecution and longterm incarceration. Never has a president LIED so much in a SOTU starting with the claim that Trump said to Putin "you can do whatever you want to do" to the claim that crime has been cut down to the lowest levels in decades. Can someone please explain why he kept YELLING so much at people, why he seemed so angry?
Unfortunately this time he didn't succeed in pulling a repeat of last year's parley with congressional Republicans at the SOTU concerning the falsehood that Republicans want to reduce or even end Social Security and Medicare. His speechwriters were counting on as that proof of his "acute political skills." Someone really put him on a psychostimulant or amphetamine that got him reading so fast as no other president in history. My suggestion is to check how in the next day or two he returns back to his old self. If there are any signs of lethargy or depression then it's a sure sign that he was injected with a stimulant.
