Thanks for watching! Yes, you can add retarder to the ink to slow down the drying a little if you want to. A screen cleaning videos is a great idea. We use a soft car sponge in a bucket of cold water. Scrape off excess ink from the screen and then ring the sponge out and gently wipe the screen on both sides to remove the ink.

Cleaning means, being able to reuse it. I say this because after seeing ur video i approached a studio here in India, where they work with Oil based inks, not water based, only because of Cleaning issues. And Oil does not dry so quickly but the smell is really bad. It is toxic i feel. Thank you for sharing ur cleaning process. I wish you supplied material here in India.
i have screen printing medium ( System 3) . Just wondering .. does it have a shelf life ? It seems fine .. also should i stir it before mixing 50/50 with my acrylic ?

You may not realize that every time you touch the screen in the video, it produces a horrible sound. Very distracting when I am trying to hear what you are saying. Otherwise, very helpful.
Welcome to screen printing. You’ll hear that sound a lot. Every time I hear that sound, it sounds like the bing of a cash register to me. It means I’m selling something.

The medium lasts for a very long time. If the consistency looks normal, it's ok to use. Stirring it is a good idea

Yes, you just leave it to dry naturally. No heat setting necessary
how do you make the clamps go into the board lower? when i tried it there was space in between.

You have to make a separate stencil for each layer that you print. So the yellow layer would be one and the pink layer would be another.
