Checking out the Benson delay on the website led me to your video which after watching the whole thing, front to back, I am now subscribed so I can get all the new ones and also check out the catalog. Really good video, thanks and be well.
Outstanding demo. Just wondering, how does this compare to El Capistan ? I have one, but i find it's too tame for my liking, although it can emulate many delay types such as echoplex etc.
Thanks! Haven't had the pleasure of trying out an El Cap myself, but I guess it depends what you mean when you say you find it too tame. The Benson definitely has some cool character by virtue of the PT2399 chip, but the whole point of it is really to make that chip sound a lot more refined, so if anything I'd say it probably just has a distinctly more "analog"-leaning sound relative to the El Cap.
yes, technically-the PT2399 is a digital chip. I wouldn't think of it in the same way as a modern DSP delay like the Boss DD series though, it's kind of its own thing and most often used specifically to emulate "analog-voiced" delays.
Man this was excellent. You absolutely killed it here.
Thanks dude!
Benson really don't miss, do they? Everything they do seems so simple, but is just so widely usable that it is just fantastic!!
Thank you for reviewing a benson product and not playing cookie cutter blues licks ❤
this video is so so good. one of the best demos I've seen for a pedal in a long time!
Aw man thank you, that means a lot!

right on, glad you found it and thanks so much!
Dude how do you not have tens of thousands of subs. These are the best gear reviews I’ve ever seen
haha thank you, much appreciated!
LOVE IT man! Really enjoy the context of it going into the 1312 in the intro song, such an awesome gaze delay!
Thx! Haha yeah, felt like I was missing something as I was writing and the Delay > 1312 sound really helped round it out!
Wow, brilliant showcase of the strengths of this pedal. Definitely the best demo I've seen on it so far. Thanks!
Great demo, superb music...
Such an awesome context to hear the delay in! Loved the Delay stacked with the Preamp too!
What a beautiful sound. Reminds me a little of the DBA Echodream 2 delay/fuzz.
Sweet demo! This thing is versatile. Wish I needed another delay.
Lol I mean how many of us really need another pedal of any kind :P but thank you!
Amazing stuff dude. Sounds great
Thanks my dude!
Excellent demo. Subscribed
the legend lives! Watched a ton of your shootouts when I was just coming back into the pedal world, thank you
@@ambienttrash5234 ha! You’re welcome :)
wow that was really good!
Benson can do no wrong in my book
Excellent demo. May I ask if the pedal is dynamic to the pick attack? Where I live I don't have the opportunity to try it out. Best regards
Wow, is there anyway for you to make this delay sound NOT good? Great stuff!
Haha thanks! It sounds fantastic for sure, was a breeze to work with it
Does the pedal come with those riffs?

🤘👍🏿
So it is technically digital?

$280 for a mono delay 💀
plenty of delays out there, they don't all have to be stereo
Thats why you get 2 mono delays and put one on each stereo signal for a more controlled stereo spread ha!
