- Most people think that Briar or Kieran would be the evil villain of Pokémon scarlet and violets dlc, and while they are possible candidates, I think the real villain is Jacq for more reasons than one. Luckily the Teal Mask supports my theory and the Indigo Disk will either confirm or deny it!

This feels like a genuine conspiracy theory
I’m here for it.
Next video: Why the POKE-EARTH is FLAT
For my part, I find Jacq's presence in Kitakami very suspicious, I mean, the guy is literally hiding behind a tree on the outskirts of the village lol. The guy definitely went to Kitakami to investigate the crystals just like Briar but unlike her, he did it in an inconspicuous way so that no one would notice what he was doing.🤔
Right??? Besides him seeming to follow us everywhere, he calls about everything, and he even got in trouble by Director Clavell in the Ace Academy Tournament for mouthing off, and why does a simple Biology Professor know so much about the Tera Crystals and Area Zero??
But why going incognito? Makes no sense unless... the academy has an eye on him and maybe they think he sus or something?
@@eduardobustamante4749 You have to admit that it's a little strange, I mean, after saying goodbye at the academy and arriving at Kitakami the guy is already there (almost hidden on the outskirts of the village) and we only ran into him almost by accident.
And as if to divert our attention, he gives us a starter and makes a lame excuse to be in the middle of the countryside instead of in the village, where he can conveniently go unnoticed.
Either he distrusts Briar and decided to follow her to see what she is doing here or he simply intends to investigate the matter of the crystals himself.
He was never at the crystals in the game tho lol
@@CursedOniGaming Duhhhh, I know (there is never a shortage of the supposed genius who says obvious things). That's why it's theory, or is it that you don't know how it works?
His presence there is still very suspicious.
HERE WE GO AGAIN.
Hey Zac. ^^
Jacq shares Zinnias name. The person who knew of multiple timelines in ORAS. Coincidence, I think not.
if jacq betrays us imma cry,i already grew attached to the guy
Yeah! He gave me a Turtwig! 😢

One of the riddles on Twitter was a picture of Aizen from Bleach. Aizen is introduced as a good character with glasses who has messy hair, but when he reveals his villainy he removes his glasses and sweeps back his hair. Sounds like Jacq to me!
Or, y'know, that could've been a hint towards Kieran, who pulls his hair back as he becomes a villain for the Indigo Disk DLC during the stinger at the end of the Teal Mask DLC
@@mistermike4023 It would be, except Kieran's not trying to fool anybody, nor does he wear glasses. Jacq, however, very well could be trying to fool everyone and looks similar to Aizen to boot.
@@clarkside4493 I don't think we were supposed to take the hint as being 1:1, the glasses thing is the only detail that doesn't match Kieran, the most important part is that he seemed nice until it was revealed that he was a bad guy, which is what happened
Jacq in Teal Mask mentioned he isn't used to fieldwork when he gives the egg, which I found odd given he has gone down to A.Z. before.
I have done 5 playthroughs of Scarlet & Violet and nowhere have I seen anything mentioned about him going to Area Zero.
@@AdamDawson3 Maybe it's the mandela effect at work...
only youtubers have said his been to aera zero lol @@gustavju4686
There is one major flaw with your theory you have complete the story mode villian before you are able acquire the legendary or the unique pokemon that you in counter in story mode. So if Jaqc is a villain he will disappear after story mode leaving you unable to acquire the final game freak diploma. As for the director he is only a school admin so he can't evaluate your pokedex only professors or the GameFreak director can do that.
It could be like Volvo because in Legends Arceus you needed all the pokemon in the game to fight him
@@sebiezuluetaI didn't have all of the pokemon in the game to fight Volo. You're thinking of arceus. You need the pokedex filled for arceus
@@Its_Asteria Your correct maybe Arceus them so sorry
I like villains to have a smile and an air of mystery to them so yeah I’m biased for Jacq being the villain.
Perhaps jacq Is related to volo, and wants to bring him back, we know volo has reletives, the only confirmed one being Cynthia, but one connection I can see is volo being ancestor to oleana who someone said could be penny's mother
If Jacq is the secret Villain, maybe he might have the opposite legendary to the player along with certain opposite version exclusives for the player to battle against.
When I first saw the thumbnail, I thought you were gonna imply that Jacq was Volo with a tan.
In regards to the significance of the name of Jacq/Zinnia, perhaps this ties into the Japanese myth involving the turtle and the underwater dragon palace. The man, whose name I've forgotten, was invited to the palace after rescuing a turtle. After spending some time there, he said that he wanted to return home, so the princess gave him a box. However, she warned him not to open it. When the man returned, he learned that over a 100 years had passed since he was first brought to the palace. He failed to heed the warning and opened the box. The box contained the years of life he had not experienced while in the dragon palace, causing him to die.
Perhaps rather than the player character or the director of the Blueberry Academy mirroring the mythological character, it's instead Jacq.
Sounds like the story of Pandoras Box but without the negativity
I feel like Jocq was also behind the death of the real sada/toro, this is just gut feeling though
Jacq doesn't have a unique theme, but Briar does. The developers didn't think Jacq was significant enough for his own theme. Even Oleana in SwSh had her own theme.
Yet...
Same with all the teachers u battle them in the ace academy tournament and the chatacters have the same theme
But what if Jacq and Briar are in it together? Like Briar wants to use the terrastalize phenomenon to the whole world and Jacq being the means of doing so and she may want to do this no matter the method.
Riddler Khu posted a pic of Aizen a couple days ago and everyone assume it was in reference to Kieran glowup in thr Indigo Disk but now Im thinking its a perfect fit for Jacq. When Jacq is serious in battle if you remove his glasses and slick his hair back he would fit the traditional Aizen look, also in Bleach Aizen was thought to be a nice guy until he showed his true colors. Also maybe Farigiraf as an ace is reference to Jacq being twofaced.
Yeah, Jacq reminds me WAY to much of Aizen.
Yup
Honestly I feel likes he’s related to the mysterious man that was with Ogrepawn in that flashback
I feel the way he looks nice and kind but looks serious when we battle him in the Academy Ace Tournament may be a way to look into his character
I feel like the OG professors didnt tell the AI's about the PPP so that they woulnt "rebel" against them like we see them do in the game
I want this to be true but we already got professors as villans in a way so I dont think they'll do it again
54🎉
Ok. You have been mispronouncing Briar's name. It Pronounced as BrEYE er. Briar means thorns.
Based on Khu’s reply about Kieran “you two will stand side by side” I’m guessing that the real villain brainwashed Kieran and once we get him back to normal he helps us fight the villain. Also this is just my opinion but what I think is that Sada/Turo is not ACTUALLY dead and that they faked their death in order to research Terapagos, or even to catch it, and provide unlimited Terastilization, kinda like what Rose did in SwSh.
Jacq’s studies of biology could’ve briefly aligned with Sada & Turo’s dreams to in bring the paradox mons to the present time.
Plus, doesn’t Clavell give you the certificate of completing the base Paldea dex? So, Clavell could easily give you the certificate for completing the Blueberry Academy dex. Jacq only gives the player the Kitakami dex certificate and the shiny and glimmering charms
Jacq would make for one hell of a villain! I mean, how'd he even have information saved for the Paradox Pokémon to be uploaded to the dex?! When I got all 400, I found it so strange that there wasn't a single mention to the Paradox 'mons and instantly grew suspicious of him. Then Kitakami...That solidified the suspicion. And to give the egg of one of the Sinnoh starters? Near impossible to trust anyone in Pokémon after how Volo was. Expecting him to show up again at some point.
Right, and of all the Regional eggs, why Sinnoh, the Present-Day Hisui??? Volo ties! Volo ties! Volo ties!
I've always been confused how exactly the Pokedex is supposed to work within the games. Each game usually starts with the Professor of that region giving it to you and asking for it to be completed, but that makes little sense as if the Pokedex was pre-programmed it should have all the information already; so why even try? I have to wonder if the dex makes up descriptions of certain Pokemon by analyzing them after you catch them and I've read some theories that the player is the one filling out information (hence why some entries feel like exaggerations). The various Professors probably program the dex to gather information instead of having that information already programmed in.
Filling the Pokédex is a way of gathering more and up-to-date samples of the Pokémon to analyze for future Pokédex entry improvement.
The player character cannot be writing them, there are multiple cases that indicate this.
It's funny how he has the same color scheme as the loyal 3 master poison/ghost....just saying.
I honestly DOUBT that it is gonna be Jacq anyways. :/
1:39 i kinda agree to bring terastalization to other regionns because they fix almost every team in past gens like: like most leaders that have reapets
Well we be able to awnser this mystery in at least two months when winter comes.
we gotta be doin yoga the way this is an insane stretching reach
Jacq could have a roll like sans in Undertale if he truly does exist outside of regular version exclusive gameplay. I mean he even exhibits the same playful nature as sans, and also his warning about the six/seven star raids could just be him seizing an opportunity to research rare and perfect Pokémon specimens through his top student as he seems to live his wishes for adventure through the player.
Even since Volo, everybody got trust issue 🤣
And remember clavel isn't smart with technology and Jacq is so he probably was the young assistant, he built the rotomdex
How many psychopathic villains does gamefreak need?
Never enough! Psychopath Villains are fun!
@@PokemonChampionAquavenus you a breaking bad fan?
someone posted on a forum that jacq was so deep into sada and turo time machine research that he reactivates it or something. not sure it was speculation or leaks
I support that theory too, because the only person who ever go to area zero in the academy was Jacq and clavell. And in the pokedex there are paradox pokemons. But what more suspicious is that Jacq give you quest on catching pokemons and clavell didn’t. In the pokedex there are paradox pokemon. Jacq ask you to collect 400 pokemons too, including past and future paradox. And if he ask you to collect 400 pokemons. He must know the future and past paradox pokemon, because no one would ask you to catch something if he doesn’t know what is it real, so he would know that there are future and past paradox pokemon. And the only way to get the future and past paradox pokemon is by playing on a diffrent version, or a diffrent dimension in their universe (aka inside the game)
Maybe jacq’s father is the first researcher who made the books which is why he has both and possibly who he misses
That would mean Jacq and Briar are related, as Briar is related to Heath, the author of the Scarlet/Violet Book.
Hm, how very interesting, it would certainly be a Twist, I am sort of hoping for it to be the case.
Not sure why but I get villain vibes from Kieran’s grandfather
Hey could be professor toros best friend. But the accident was caused by Jacq and now he feels guilty for causing the death of his best friend. But that just a crazy thought.
no. Jacq is not going to be a villain. Why do fans need to have a "secret villain" in every game? Can we go one game without a villain? Anyway the only character leaning towards being a villain is that annoying Kieran
Exactly in regards to Kieran. I mean... if anything in how The Teal Mask ended on that cliffhanger, it would make sense for the villain to be Kieran.
Thank you so much for all videos you made. You are one of my absolutely best youtubers ever. :)
Jsi borec. Mám moc rád tvoji tvorbu. Zdraví Nogy.
I mean Briar keeps trying to get to area zero and they keep turning her down, when at this point most other people have. My theory is Geeta and Briar used to be friends until something happened, and since Geeta has been down there before to het glimmora, and she is the champion. She probably told Jacq to tell her no without telling her no. That seems a lot more suspicious than Jacqs personality. And with this Jacq theory it could be just as understandable if the history teacher was also a problem. She was obviously more likely to be an understudy for Sada with how obsessed she is with the history of Paldea. I dont see teachers being a problem in the dlc though. Will most likely be Briar, Geeta, kieran, or whatever dokutaro is.
I mean she could've evolved a glimmet or something. But that is a good theory
There were already Jacq-Aizen memes. I think one of the Leakers posted it as well
I thought it was abit suspicious when Jacq,s Just turned up a kitakami he's up to something other than checking on my pokadex
he cannot be a villain, he is the teacher. You can still do the classes after dlc, so he will be there for biology classses if you didn’t finish it
I always freakin' knew it!!!! I had even wrote fics of him as a secret villain!
You mind sharing the links to those fics? 👀
I never uploaded them. They're just on my notes app, but in them, Jacq follows us and watches us with bad intentions. However, also in my story, Iono is also bad, and they team up together. They each have their own alterior motives, but Iono gets caught first and is sent to some Paldea prison. They don't uncover Jacq's criminal activity until later down the road.
I personally don't think that Jacq is a villain per se. My theory is that he was very close friends with Turo and Sada, but they didn't get divorced like we're led to believe, but disappeared during a freak accident while testing the time machine while no one else but Jacq was present. We know Jacq is a decent programmer because we're told that he was the one who developed the pokedex app for the rotom phone. This leads me to believe that he was the one who wrote the software that runs the Area Zero research facilities as well as the AI that powers the robo professor we meet at the end of the base game's story. I think Jacq was the one who wrote in the failsafe to keep the time machine functional while he developed a program for it to find and retrieve the professor that was lost in the time stream. The unintended consequence was that the time machine just continued to run and do its thing for the better part of what I assume was a few months since nobody with the proper authorization was alive to maintain it or even properly shut it down.
C'mon. You /really/ think GameFreak are going to hit us with back-to-back twist villains? What are they, The Rat™ (Disney) from the 2010s?! Not every story needs a villain. It just needs something to drive the story, which there was. The three parts of the treasure hunt, the finale of the base game (which gave us the closest thing to a villain in the AI Professor battles), the search for the truth about Ogerpon in the teal mask, and whatever is planned for the indigo disc and conclusion back in Area Zero. If anything, there are hints that we'll be interacting with the actual professors eventually, and given what the AI ones said about the real ones becoming obsessed with making their paradise a reality, if anyone is likely to be a villain, it's them. Unless it means the opposite professor, and maybe even then. Also, Briar rhymes with fire. Sorry, but I'm giving this theory a big 👎.
This sounds like a conspiracy. But he is cooking tho
Jacq was spanking his Diglett over Briar who kind of flirts with him in the beginning of the Teal Mask. Lol if that ends up being Heath in Drag wearing a corsette though gonna lmao but I think Briar is an AI Paradox creation of Heath's Daughter that he created because he will never see his Family again or they were automatically created by Terapagos when he encounters it and we arrive just as he finds Terapagos thus creating the Paradox together. Clavell and Brassius are her brothers and AI creations of Heath's Sons and the family sketches probably will be a Unveiled secret page in the Scarlet/Violet Books.
Raifort is probably the Empress of Paldea who Heath meets down in Area Zero Slumbering. Geeta is also an AI based off of a Paldean Woman and a Glimmora...look at her hair ;). Glimmora's Scales.
Zinnia name in japanese is Higana (red spider lily, this flower in japanese culture means death), also her wishmur name in japanese is shigana that means mortal world. I think that their names where censor because both related to death and the afterlife... so at least that the pokemon company is aware of the english names I dont see to much conection
Geeta is the villain. She's the one with the power in both the Pokemon League and the academy to disestablish previous administrations. Geeta uses people, look at Larry. Even Tulip criticizes her in the rematch. She could easily fund the expedition to Area Zero and the development of the Tera Orbs with League and Academy resources. Hence why everyone who wasn't involved was fired and those who were in the expedition got blackmailed into Geeta's top down control. Jacq is not supposed to teach about the breakthrough because the discovery is publicly the tera orb, not the secrets of area zero. Jacq does know more than he lets on, but that's because he's at Geeta's mercy - of which she has little. This is why when Penny hacks the League database Geeta recruits her to work for the Pokemon League to further manipulate the points and resources. A.I Sada/Turo have the Pokemon League champion data base at their disposal (Hall of Fame). That's why there's not a league without the academy. Geeta took the traditional league set up and made it a learn abroad academy monetizing both the pursuit of the championship and the education of such a goal.
Geeta puts on a good facade just like typical sociopaths with distinguished accomplishments. Jacq is blackmailed and is the key to the secrets because before Penny there was Jacq. That's why A.I Sada/Turo have no knowledge of PPP. They are programmed to be unaware of it, just like how we say the spirits of the dead live on but we are unaware of them due to a lack of knowledge. At the crystal pool it's said that you can meet the spirits of the dead there, but that is where Jacq is showing you how the A.I. was programmed. Based on our realistic human limits. 😅
Have I been pronouncing the names wrong all this time????
Man Jacq I thought you were a good guy because I didn’t expect you to go all evil mad Pokémon Professor on me you must really have wanted that Pokédex complete. 😂😂😂
Geez, just wait till the dlc drops,no need to make predictions 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
This is as convincing as saying that Mario bros wonder was going to have an original villain and that bowser was mind controlled.
It never happened
Could Jacq and Briar might be covered identity to the real Sada and Turo?
I ALWAYS thought that Jacques team is very inchresting. Very.
What makes you say that?
Funny you got a point there a mystery in this Storm jecq one behind all this no canobie lake canobie and kidnapping by men Alden😮
This feels convincing kinda like the Professor Oak is evil theory you know what I mean? Pokédex. At least Volo didn’t give the Pokédex maybe that’s what makes the difference. I don’t see them doing anything relevant with Jacq with all this going on with him still. We can hardly get a relevant Champion storyline in Paldea there’s so much going on.
Personally i think he's the bad guy but not for the reasons everyone saying, my explanation...
.
.
.
.
he's in charge of 5 fps class, he's absorbing the FPS energy from the students in his class~
This is Elfilin levels of accusation, dang,
That purple dude is the one controlling kieran
If jacq is mourning a lost friend given the purpose of the PPP which was to protect at any cost human prof. Sada/Turo's greatest creation, the time machine. They become the only reasonable option as arven is told by the respective ai professor of each that Sada or Turo perished during the expedition that created the time machine and we learn from those ai professors that their human counterpart was the only fatality in the expedition.
What is the peach boy from the MoMotauro legend look at his skin tone..... Peach?
Jacq didn’t create the Pokédex lol
He just created the app that uploads the info to the phone
There is a story in the legend of the sea turtle that teerapegos is based on, and their was a man who went to the dragon palace onnthe turtles back, but when he returned to earth he was young but time passed into the future, he open the box after being asked not to and turned old,(im missing huge parts but this is a short summary) like with the story off momotaru being flipped maybe jacq is heath but instead of being turned old he was young, most of the professors are groomed amd well kept for apprences jaque isn't he looks messy even his hair is two different colors/monochrome hair from top to bottom and the only characters who have it is Carmine and keiren and him this is just a theory, he has been always suspicious and u the player character completes the pokedex and the paradox pokemon has their entires registered even though we never knew they existed and how would the rotomdex know that unless someone knew or maybe jacq saw the same vision heath did and remembers it
Ok, the pokedex part seems like a bad point to me, since in any case it would also apply to aaaall the teachers in past regions, how did they know about the existence of each ultrabeast, arceus, giratina, deoxys, genesect, mewtwo?
another point; Really important characters usually have a meeting theme: villains, rivals, teachers, etc. The teacher what I remember does not have this concept
yo what if jacq caught the other versions legend and then hid it so that no one else could know that the machine went both ways.
That would be awesome if it’s him, what a twist
Wait, would Pokémon do the Kirby thing (friendly guy's betrayal) AGAIN?
I think Jacq is the assistant that is mentioned in area zero
Always thought he was part of Pokemon interpol like agent Looker.
...
dude why are you pronouncing Briar as Bree-are.... Briar is Literally an English word pronounced Breye-er like Rye and she's from the Unova Region....
well.. that sure was somethin 👀
I didn't know Aizen was in Pokemon
not again. (insert Sheen showcase to class meme here)
Tokutaro?
Briar is probably AI
IMO I don’t think he will be the villain cus he connects wit pkmn go and seems like a chill professor. I could be wrong and it would be cool if this comes out to be true.
Volo was connected with his Pokémon. He couldn't have evolved his Togepi without that.
BrEE-ARE 😭
Great vid
Very interesting theory
Briar's name is pronouned BRY AR not BREE AR
...why does this make sense?
Yes
2:35 that's a good that's a good theory he got to be the bad guy in behind this😊😅🎉🎉
now everyone is saying this lol
I just think it’s Kieran honestly he seems like the villain and if Jacq is a villain I’d like it more if he was secondary to Kieran or Terapagos.
I doubt it
IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!
i just battled Jacq in the Academy Ace Tournament and this theory has me worried every time i see him now 😅
his ace Pokémon is Farigiraf.. one who is *literally* two-faced 🫥
