I just got a brand new iPhone 14 on Tuesday using only the money I earn on my RUclips channel since I don't have a regular job (I'm a teenager, 14). I upgraded from an iPhone 8. I'm very much impressed with the battery life on this phone right now. I took if off charge Wednesday morning at about 9AM and didn't plug it in until yesterday evening around 7pm and it was still at 55%. Very first phone I bought with my own money too!

If anyone was wondering which one to get, I would DEFINITELY go for the se 3. Sure, the iPhone 11 has the better screen, battery, and cameras, but at the same time, the 11 won't be supported for too much longer. The se 3 just released two years ago, so it should have another four years of updates, and I would definitely say it's worth the price it's being sold for.
as an italian guy, seeing those prices for monthly mobile plans is shocking.. Here you can have like unlimited calls and 200+ gb of mobile data for 8 bucks a month or less...
Interesting how the 11 came in the thinner box, I remember it being the last iPhone that had the thick box that actually included a power adapter and EarPods.
I actually work for Verizon prepaid sector inside Walmart and most of our phone sales are these phones. I've never once had any issues with these getting returned or having to set them up as I do in store set up also. I highly recommend people getting these phones even if it's just for the month.
You need your account number, and a Number Transfer Pin from your current carrier. The phone number HAS to be active as well. Some carriers are easier than others, but yes, you should from any carrier. @williamli4422
The SE 3rd Gen I got during the promo in January (missed the Black Friday one) was a GODSEND for my trip in Japan. Japan uses a variety of transportation cards, mainly Suica, for their train and bus systems. Androids not bought in Japan cannot use digital versions, but iPhones bought anywhere can. If you have a no transaction fee card that will add money to the digital Suica, you basically have a much easier time getting around the country. The SE is also the best option as its the smallest phone, so with the right case and passport wallet, you can just carry it around in front of your passport in the pocket without having it slip out and setup to where you just tap the iPhone, or in this case your passport wallet, onto the NFC reader, no powering the screen on needed
I work at Walmart’s electronics department. The reasons for the cheap prices is the other carrier listed there “Straight Talk” Walmart biggest prepaid provider. These phones can be had for even less at times with special promotion running for a couple of weeks. For the SE we’ve seen $99 with a new line and in store activation. During a Black Friday event the same SE was completely free with the same new line and in store activation. It can be tricky to get these promotions as a third party vendor that works inside of Walmart selling post paid phones “Premium Wireless” are the ones primarily responsible for doing the promotion but most of them are not willing to do it for the customers as they don’t make as big of a cut from it as compared to selling their required post paid phone for per day.
See my store is small enough that we don't have any of the 3rd party folks here so we have to do the warp orders for those promos. Now we also don't do any postpaid stuff only prepaid and we only do warp orders if there's a promo on that specific phone.
Im an electronics associate at walmart and I must say you got a pretty good deal on these iphones. Cricket, boost, and AT&T versions of these are more expensive. Prices vary between different prepaid carriers. Unfortunately my store does not carry total by version because our area doesn't meet the coverage requirements to sell verizon and their subsidaries. I used an iphone 11 for a few years. Still a good iPhone from my own personal experience. Wal-mart now sells the iPhone 12 as a prepaid option. Soon enough the iPhone 16 or iPhone 15's successor may be when the iPhone 13 will become a prepaid option.
@@kidjiujitsu I assume you got your phone activated in store. I was specificially stating that it costs more to get the phone without an in-store activation.
Not to mention that the 11 also has AT LEAST another 2-3 years of software support and an additional year or two of security updates. Great cameras that hold up in today's world. The SE - having the A15 chip that was reused TWICE in a row, would also likely get 4 or 5 years of support.
The phone I'm rocking right now is a galaxy s21 FE. I bought it nearly 3 years ago now, and it was $500 brand new. The screen is OLED, it's UHD, I have face recognition and an in screen fingerprint reader that works great. It's 120fps, it has 5G, and is still a very capable phone 3 years later. An iPhone with almost none of those features for 450 bucks is insane.
Thanks for your video, love it, my first iPhone was a 6 and I paid $49.00 brand new with Cricket wireless, it was 3 years old at the time and it served my purpose, now I have the 12 and it was $100 bucks, I don't need to spend a lot of money to get a dated but still capable phone with a great camera. Again, thanks for the info.
@@blankmandastankman Apple had/has the longest average support life for their phones out of any smartphone manufacturer. The next major release will support back to the XR giving that device at least seven years of software support.
I bought an iPhone XS (2018 flagship) from Wal-Mart in early 2021 for $100 just for the hell of it. Happy to report that it still lives on as my secondary phone to this day, although I know Apple is dropping support for it this year.
iPhones cost more to produce than what WalMart is selling them for, they’re losing money on every sale, but they make it back once you pay for Total Wireless! Pretty crazy stuff.
I know people are gonna think I'm crazy, but I'd say jump on the SE 3. It's the latest one with the newest chip. Meanwhile, Apple is about to end support on the iPhone 11. So in the long run, the SE will be the better value for longevity and support. May not look sexy and appealing, but it gets the job done.
@@IramCoercere SE’s generally get 4-5 years of updates, so the SE is still the better value. But if you want better cameras, the 11 is certainly better.
@@Joshtheweathermannot 4 to 5. there's only one se that isn't supported and the early 2016 iphone se first gen lasted from 2016 to 2021 having support to ios 15 same as the 6s, it lasted 5 and a half years.
The 10 and 11 battery’s were built different though. My 10 r had 1,200 battery cycles with 80% battery health. The SE 3 has better performance overall but the 11 is no slouch it is hard to pick between the two since they both have their positives and negatives, especially with that $50 difference. I have 3 phones from them iPhone 11 and two iPhone 12s they do get unlocked after 60 days automatically as long as you don't take the SIM card out.. customer service is horrible though but you won't really need customer service if you're just going to get a new number.
Does the phone have to have service all 60 days or can I buy one month service and it unlocks in 60 days ? I have a se 3 , had it since it first came out 2-3 yrs ago and I’d like to replace it .
I work for Walmart electronics and help with in store activation and any service under the tracfone umbrella (tracfone, straight talk, total by Verizon, Walmart family mobile, and simple mobile) is subject to a 60 day carrier lock period for both all android and apple phones. Also none of the iPhones are refurbished when you buy them at Walmart.
got 2 of these for $100 each awhile back with 1 month service, but you dont have to buy another month, you just gotta wait 61 days and itll be fully unlocked. also nice video!
Back to confirm one is unlocked so far. I did pay for 2 months but waited a few days between so I would be past 61 with service. Will come back in a few days to update about the second phone.
I sold my 14 and bought a se3 from Walmart for $149. It was unlocked after 30 days of service ($45) . It has not lagged or Reset itself even ONCE . My 12pro max, 13 & 14 all had a lag or restart issue . They were all purchased brand new as well. SE3 is by far more reliable
Agreed. I just sold my Speedy 35 kislux (I did keep the brown one), my Sofia Coppola perforated LV clutch, my blue Damier clutch I bought in Japan, and the By the Pool vanilla clutch. Kept an orange epi Alma. It feels great!!
No it's not, and you don't have to buy brand new, you could say that about any car also even though they depreciate 40% of their value in the first 5 years depending on the company ofc. same with phones. But there are MANY people that do buy brand new.
I replaced my battery in my very old iPhone. I bought a good quality battery on eBay and followed an iPhone battery replacement video for my model iPhone on RUclips. Battery cost was about $22.00. That was maybe a year and a half ago and my phone is working perfectly. Not hard to do and saved me lots of money. I'm with Tracfone and hardly use my phone but it only costs me $20.00 for 3 months of service. Occasionally I'll pick up a Data card for $10.00 when I run out. It's not for everyone, but it works for me.
I have the total wireless i phone 13 from Walmart and i use my safelink free phone service on it with unlimited talk text and 10gb 5g data so it was a good buy for me no doubt. I got mine brand new for $449

Awesome video! The Call of Duty mobile game usually, from time to time, has a lengthy update. I use my ps4 and Xbox controller when playing mobile games while traveling. When indoors, I connect an HDMI to a 27" monitor to enjoy a wider view. Maybe you'll also like playing using a controller and connecting your phone to a monitor. You're likely to be more comfortable using a controller moving your soldier while shooting and engaging the enemy team.
How lol the SE’s home button is ancient, and the 11’s curved edges are not only ugly but also mean the phone is thicker than the new square edge iPhones, because they were able to fit more into a square.
The only thing better here is the vertical camera layout on the 11 which looks nicer than the diagonal. But with the upcoming iPhone 16 they’re going to make room to go back to the vertical cameras so 🤷♂️
7:00 it's not because of the chip size why it downloaded any slower, it would be either the wifi antenna/technology not being as up to date or just because the other device got prioritized on your wifi connection, or because of storage speeds bottlenecking how quick the data can be written to the internal storage
You can usually activate the phones with the included SIM card on any of the total subsidiaries, so I always do the cheapest page plus plan over their customer support phone and have it unlocked in 60 days
I bought my current iPhone 8 Plus from Walmart in July 2020 and combined with the Otterbox case that lasted me over 2 years before having to switch to different cases, the total cost combined of phone and case were $330 for me. I was fortunate to save a good amount of money at the time because I did work for Walmart so I had an employee discount then but the carrier I have is Straight Talk. I’ve had Straight Talk for 10 years alongside iPhones being the only types of smartphones I’ve ever owned.
So I had bought the SE when it was on sale for $150 & I just wanted a small phone to use on t-mobile but turns out that didn't work. So i used it as a trade in & got the iPhone 15 instead for free lol
@@ParanoiaGentlmanhe probably used the SE to trade it in for a iPhone 15. usually the big carriers (AT&T, Verizon & T-mobile) all have promotions where if you trade in a phone they will value it enough to where you can get the new iPhone (15 in this case) for significantly cheaper a month or for free)
You should wait until black Friday they tend to bring down the price about to $49! Sometimes the older models go for $29 as I bought a se 2 for $29 a couple years ago. Great deal most of them unlock 60-99 days
Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…
I bought the iPhone 11 In 2022 for $199 for Walmart mobile. It's stayed the same price for two years, it's not a good deal right now. Even at $149. Go and get the iPhone12 with the OLED unlocked, the LCD is alright and the 11 only has 4g no 5g.
I bought my SE Edition last November in Black Friday for only $50 and still using it, it’s amazing, literally even more than an average person need, I was buying pallets of electronics and stuff and reselling in marketplace and made more than $10k, managing everything from this $50 phone, very very recommended to buy this, it’s underpriced haha
Samsung Z Flips are super unreliable. They almost always have screen problems. I’ve been looking for a cheap phone/camera on eBay that can shoot 4K60 and I looked at the Z Flips and their resale is plummeting from thousands to just over $100 due to all their issues. It’s crazy. Makes me glad I didn’t get the Z Flip when it came out, I didn’t have to suffer! Lol.
@giovanigeorgis3848 lmao yeah it's quite nerve-wracking. But the gimmick/design is what got me. I love the fact It's longer and bigger than most phones while still having a smaller form factor than them. Altho the crease issue and how mine is cracked is scary I will agree.
No issues _yet_. Don't get me wrong, I have a Fold 4 and I like it despite the longevity concerns. But if you're buying a phone with a hinge, you can expect them to last 2-4 years typically. If your Flip 3 lasts another year then for $100 that's good value, but unfortunately older flips and folds are unreliable. Newer ones both have less wear and tear on them and also are built more durable (upcoming Fold 6 is finally rated for dust resistance, only at a level 4 but it's a step up from nothing) so if you can afford to get a new Fold/Flip and trade in every two years they're a pretty safe bet, but older ones are hard to trust. Flips especially, since prior to the Flip 5 they lacked a decent cover display. If a Fold 3 craps out on you, the traditional glass outer display will let you keep using your phone until you can get a new one, but the Flip's cover display isn't gonna do much more than show you the time. That said, a secondhand Flip 5 can be easily gotten for under $400, and a brand new Razr 2023 can be gotten for $450, so yeah, flips are getting cheap enough that it's feasible for a lot of people to get them.

@@schrodingers_gat It is not a downgrade because the SE was released a few years after the 11. It would be a downgrade if the 11 came after the SE and still had the A13 Bionic chipset. Besides that, the SE is not the successor of the 11 series so there was no downgrade. Again, see the timeline of the release of the devices.
Once the locked carrier has your data, IMSI & IMEI, those are permanently your ID on those phones. Even IF you change carriers those and your MAC addresses, WiFi, and they have everything they need to track you. Unless you never register the phone and use it as a glorified iPod, with no connectivity. Then the phone remains locked, but, no one is tracking you. That is the trade off. This is likely the reason they are so inexpensive. Or, it is one possibility. Thanks for the video.

I work for Cricket Wireless and with new lines we offer the iPhone 11 for $200 when you pour over from another company you get the iPhone 11 for $99 and iPhone 12 for $300 with new lines and $200 for port-overs
Yeah no crap, that’s a given. Not like expensive phones are a lot better though with some brands, Samsungs never get unlocked and nothing sold at Verizon does. No big deal for most people though, and it’s not like the cheap phones have any roms for them to make it worth unlocking, basically everything you can get cheap now is MTK.
@@qwertykeyboard5901 There’s a big difference between being rootable and actually hackable. I don’t consider being able to root your phone a real big modification, it’s pretty minor to be honest. MTK phones are considerably harder to port to, hardly anything with MTK has any roms at all, and they never work as well. Unless you’re prepared to write your own drivers, these devices are not able to be modded.
@PBJA89 The Samsungs you probably can bootloader unlock. But yeah, had an original Moto E that was locked to Tracfone. Now, that phone had (maybe still has) a fair bit of support on XDA, and I wanted to root it. Fun fact: No. Not eligible for bootloader unlocking. Be careful with prepaid android phones out there! (And wasps. I got stung by one less then five minutes ago. Do not recommend.)
Honestly I have a huge feeling there’s LOTS of unsold stock of these models. I heard they overestimated the SE and made more than sold. The iPhone 11 was just very popular to be honest so not shocked there’s plenty. I wish I’d grabbed one when they were $49.99 with a $30 plan. Also that’s the 5G model of SE (as you said) so for $150 it’s really good price.
Yes, there is lots of unsold stock and it usually goes to other countries outside of America. I know some countries still selling XR’s and 8 Plus’s brand new according to other users in these comments
I wouldn’t be surprised if they overestimated the SE 3. The SE 2 was a massive success as it had been 4 years since the last SE phone, and so students and small phone lovers RAN to get their hands on the SE 2. Apple thought the massive success of the SE 2 would reciprocate with the SE 3, but it just didn’t happen. Many people stuck with their SE 2, including me.
Yea but its approachinf its end of support. Buying the 11 rn basically means gettin another single year of updates. But again, its not like the phone breaks the moment it stops getting updates.
That's just what the refurbed iphone 11 goes for (on amazon for instance). I bought 3 in the last year all around $250-300. They are still amazing phones will last a long time.. It's a good phone to just scoop up for people.
You can use any Tracfone SIM card. I have Safelink and popped it in and it worked even though mine was locked to straight talk. It doesn’t matter what you use as long as it’s owned by Tracfone and it still unlocks after 60 days.
Had the 11 on straight talk for a year or two, service wasn't bad in my area but of course the lack of 5G was noticeable. Lasted me a while. Eventually sold it and purchased a 12 from them. You're not missing out. I don't hate Apple or anything, but having tried both Apple and Samsung, neither of them is obviously better than the other. Personally I like Samsung better.
You're not missing out, iphone is just an overpriced glamorized smart phone that keeps getting re-released every year with little innovation every time 😅
@Y2k90s Alright that's not exactly fair, every phone on the market with similar specs costs a similar amount and every brand only has a small number of changes year over year. iPhones are a bit more expensive due to the fact they never go on sale, but if you're paying MSRP Apple's prices are normal. Again, I like Samsung better, and I do pay a little less for my tech because I wait for deals. But it's a difference of a few bucks a month.
iPhone SE’s are the best budget phone you can buy. Period. I used my Boost 2nd gen SE for 2 years and then traded it in to Verizon for a 15 Pro on release and only had to pay activation. I got so much return on that little $150 SE it’s insane.
I wish I could buy a brand new Iphone for so cheap here in Europe! Locked or not it doesn't matter to me! Unfortunately Iphones are insanely overpriced in Europe!
As an italian, yea. apple sold the 11 up until 2021 so any model produced after 2020 have the thin box

The SE is also the best option as its the smallest phone, so with the right case and passport wallet, you can just carry it around in front of your passport in the pocket without having it slip out and setup to where you just tap the iPhone, or in this case your passport wallet, onto the NFC reader, no powering the screen on needed
thanks for the advice. I will be going to Japan in October for a month for work. Nobody has mentioned this.

What was the promo ? Which SE 3 did u get from Walmart was it cricket wireless one? How much
I work at Walmart’s electronics department.
Will they work outside the country?

The old iPhones have been cheap in Walmart for a long time. I remember getting an iPhone 6 for like $150 back in the day at Walmart.
@@keshmo12 you miss the joke
think your joke just isn't funny my guy @@The_GamoN
6:18 why are you using your non thumbs huh ??..
You can use any Tracfone SIM card. I have Safelink and popped it in and it worked even though mine was locked to straight talk. It doesn’t matter what you use as long as it’s owned by Tracfone and it still unlocks after 60 days.
Hey bro you should review more underated phones like Nokias, BlackBerry, Sony Xperia, etc
Had the 11 on straight talk for a year or two, service wasn't bad in my area but of course the lack of 5G was noticeable. Lasted me a while. Eventually sold it and purchased a 12 from them. Had it for a few months and then found out I'd get a better deal with Xfinity, so now I have a 15 pro max with Xfinity and my mom has the iPhone 12 from straight talk! Great phones for the price!
i wish i could get a brand new iphone for these kinds of prices
where (country) you live?
@@johnzoid74 Finland. i doubt that deals like these will ever happen here
@@johnzoid74 The wonderful land of Finland. no such deals have popped up here unfortunately since i dont think we have carrier contract things like this here
Last year I got an SE 3 for 49 dollars from Walmart for black friday, than paid 30 bucks for a Total Wireless plan, threw it in a drawer, waited 2 months for it to unlock and put it on my Metro account.
You guys are lucky to have walmart in your country
I've never touched an iPhone in my whole entire life 😂
I really love your videos and I enjoy watching you ❤❤❤
You're not missing out.
But it's a difference of a few bucks a month.
that's insane!!! the se 3 is the deal of a life time even if it's a budget iphone for it's release
Freedom day🦅🦅🦅
let’s go!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
iPhone SE’s are the best budget phone you can buy.
You are much better off getting some cheap motorola phone here, because they are pretty much the only cheap phones that dont totally suck (some redmis too) a motorola g30 for example is 150€ but has an OLED 144hz screen, decent battery, a good chip, and is still updated to the latest android version.
Are these issues happening if these bags are used daily? I just got the pochette metis in monogram canvas from the Kusama collection. I love the multicolored polka dots and hope they donât melt on me, lol. But I donât think itâll be in my regular rotation. I also have a NoeNoe in DA but only use that a few times a year in the spring and summer so I havenât put that much wear and tear into it. I hope I donât see the fraying for a while. Also, Iâm saving up for a kislux . Has your colleague seen the same issues with that size? I donât mind some relaxation in shape but I donât want it to be a puddle either. Thanks for the video!
Is that an OPPO phone to the right on the table? 😊 Any kid would. Love to have an those iphones. Chewed thumbs skin. We have students still using IPhone 8. Happy 4th! 😊Your channel is cool!

I dont like apple. i have had a Samsung since Samsung started cellphone. Samsung 4life
I literally just bought the same iPhone 11 from Walmart yesterday and I love it. I just switched from Android to iPhone and it's much better. Even though I used to have a cheap 32 GB Motorola. Bro whoever made 32 GB phones needs to be arrested. But I was instantly able to activate it on my Straight Talk plan and I love it so much.

I do have genuine leather bags from other brands kislux I get what I want without paying exorbitant designer prices. That's the point. It's not about the superficial, it's about getting what you like at a price you like.
