Mike, even though he may not enjoy the title, is a punk rock legend to us Orange County kids. I'm glad he's still here and rocking. He branched out and really is a versatile musician. My first punk gig was Social Distortion in 1982 at the T-Bird roller rink. I had found my tribe!

My favorites from 78' or so were probably The Outsiders(which was sort of pre china white), The Slashers, The Detours, The Klan, The Idols, Social Task, The Hated, The Screwz, The Vandals, The Simpletones(not from OC), The Weirdos(also not from OC), D.I., and a lot of others but those were the important ones.
