@@highjinx6519 exactly! my personal opinion is that if you can't corral your animals into a shelter with you, then leave the doors and gates open so they can run if they need to. round them up later. owners could even put GPS trackers on collars or livestock tags to make the round up easier. I'd much rather hunt down where my animals ran off to, alive, than live with knowing I trapped them in the structure that crushed them to death or the pen that kept them from getting away.

This dude is amazing on the kind of stuff he does I saw an episode where his BFF Rae (an elementary teacher) was sadly killed by a tornado that completely wiped out an elementary school and she told Reed that she was going to stay with her students instead of going home to save her life but all the kids lost their lives too RIP all the children that died that day (May 20th, 2013) I sent all my prayers God Bless all of these people who risk their lives for this and especially Reed for saving that cow God Bless you all

I love that it's not just about chasing a tornado,its about the destruction it causes and the gathering of information to inform and protect others from its path. The humanity and care making sure people are ok and tending to animals in desperate need. That cow would be forever grateful for rescuing its calf. Animals have feelings too. A professional and respectful team,simply the best out there. I'm lucky to be in the UK and free from such devastation. I love the work you do but I hate the destruction weather can cause. Keep doing what you do,you save lives while putting your own at risk.

Great day in terms of viewing a Tornado, a record breaking Tornado in fact however still an EF3 in terms of damage, F5 in scale. Losing Tim Samaras, Paul Samaras and Carl Young on top of the others was a heart breaking day, however one for the books :(
I recommend strong work boots for the damaged buildings checks. Those nails sticking out of the busted-up wood are dangerous with sneakers, despite the likely warm and humid environment.

I remember years ago when I lived in Minnesota i had heard that there was a tornado some 75 miles from my place and when I was outside in my driveway a piece of fiberglass insulation fell out of the sky and plopped down right in front of me. Well I knew that that wasn’t a good thing at all! Later on the news I had learned that a neighborhood south of the twin cities had been hit hard by a tornado and debris from the twister had been falling all over the southern twin cities suburbs.
I have learned a lot from these videos. I moved to tornado country so I am tryin to learn to look for the signs to educate myself. Powerful powerful storms.
And here I am - moved to Tulsa and became a weather observer to specifically storm chase in OKC metro. Lubbock Tx wasn’t feeding my scientific mind with enough weather for my taste 😁
