  • When you're trying to achieve a Gold, Silver or Bronze level in the GT7 Lap Time Challenges have you even been frustrated by the lack of ghosts available for the times you're trying to achieve? There only seems to be ghosts for the top drivers, which is great until they've disappeared after two corners.
This video is for us regular humans who aren't chasing top 10 positions, who just want to set a time good enough to earn some credits. I'll show you how to search for and download more suitable ghosts for our level, and also how to save and upload your own times for others to use. From here on I will be uploading my own ghosts of the RUclips videos that I post so that you can see just what it is I'm doing and hopefully beat me.
I'm a 45 year old gamer with lots of other demands on my time so I only get a few hours a week to race these days. I use a Fanatec CSL Elite wheel and pedals mounted to a Wheelstand Pro. I'm not a world class driver, nor do I take things too seriously. I'm just a happy amateur doing what I can with what I have.

How can I make it so it's in my friends ranking on weekly races , basically how can I share my replay the way the top drivers do so that my friends just click on my name and hit download ghost?

I don’t know how the main leaderboard replay system works. You get some, but not all replays. I don’t know if it’s about giving permissions to access replays but I don’t believe the replays on the main leaderboard are a result of the top drivers doing anything to upload them. I think some of them would prefer not to share their replay in fact! But it’s different to the friend’s leaderboard which just shows their times and not replays. I think your friends would have to actively download your replay, as shown in the video, for them to see it.

@@OrangeSunshine15that maybe correct but it doesn’t explain why there are many other replays listed sporadically but not others. And the question asked was how to share replays with friends on the friend’s leaderboard, not the overall world leaderboard. Which I don’t think you can.

@@OrangeSunshine15 It's not answering the original question. He asked how he could get his replay to appear when his friends looked at the leaderboard. Unless he happens to set a worldwide top 10 time, at any time during the event, it isn't possible either in the world leaderboards or specifically his friend's rankings.

@@OrangeSunshine15 what are you talking about? I’m answering someone’s question about friend’s leaderboards. I’m trying to steer the answers back to his question, and you’re passing judgement on the mentality, behaviour and attitude of someone who does chooses to do help guides in his spare time. Quite a conclusion to jump to.
