The 50 online races for me was the worse. I was expecting the licenses to be hard but the online races were very tedious since you had to wait 5-10mins after each race to do another one. There was also a glitch when the game released that every online race would count as 2 races. So you only had to do 25 races for the trophy.
Damn I had to do 52 in the end. 25 would have been much nicer lol
All I have is the Audi Scape , 100 Scapes and win 10 dirt races. I'm not enjoying the scapes at all 😂
@@scottd7222 i have five left before platinum. the 2 licenses, three legend, 50 online, and 8.1k miles. i have one of the cars and one is currently in the store. i needto grind out 8 mil to get it. then need to gring another 12 for the last one. i try to 2 online a day and 2 of the 24 lamans for 30 and get thr clean race for 875k each time
@SegIsHollywood Yes, but spirt mode is competitive racing but there is a casual online mode where you don't have to wait

the last licence took me several days. It really threaded the line between genuine fun and rage-worthy frustration but boy is it satisfying when you get it done. I managed it without assists, to, but idk if I would have made it on a steering wheel, that must be brutal

Great video there man. I only need 3 more for the plat myself. Complete 50 sport races, buy the 3 legendary cars (after I save up) & get Gold in all licence tests. That past one is the one that is frustrating me so much

Pretty impressive buddy! I know how hard it is to grind in Gran Turismo! I grinded Gran Turismo Sport for all 3 20 mill cars! The Jaguar XJ, the Ford MK IV, and the Ferrari P30 P4 😁 it was sort of worth it because I loved them to bits! 😊I even took an amazing picture of them :)

Looove these games. On the previous GT entry you also had to get 91 online wins and there was a gnarly grind for max level. Took me I think 400+hrs!

With the latest 1.31 update, the license times have gotten even worse..
Some golds are now barely silver times so the trophy for all gold licenses is that much harder now😵💫

Good to know that they really found a good balance in licenses to begginers reach that gold (and platinum trophy). You got a lot of golds by just a needle.
I remember how hard it was in older games (gt1~4) that even if you are a good driver it still will give some nightmares.
I don't have gt7 but considering the previous gt licenses, a experienced player for sure can beat it with easy.
Yup was my first GT game so was kinda new, only played a few F1 games so was all new :)

I just finished getting the last license gold yesterday and I tell you what, that was the most draining trophy I've ever done so far 🙃
It was way too long
That was not actually that bad if you know the trick - just to stay on the dry surface, use TCS to the fullest and restrain from pushing the acceleration too hard. Took me about 3 complete runs to get it (but 10 times that for incomplete runs). Frankly, I think the game is already forgiving in that they didn't ask you to gold the Nurburgring North as part of the trophy run. There's probably less than 5% people who can gold it.

Personally as a GT fanatic I thought this plat was easy compared to sport but respect for the grind
I know it’s easy compared to others, I’d say it’s an easy plat as a whole, but it is a long grind
if I leave a race in online sport mode will the race history count go up because my brother left 2 or more races without finishing now idk

Well done getting platinum man! The way you edited it made it nice and fast paced to watch too, though I’m wondering, why do you prefer driving in 3rd person? As someone who always plays in 1st person I really dislike 3rd person especially on a wheel haha
thanks man, but i mostly like playing in front view because i primarily play F1, and driving in the cockpit on that is just asking to crash

Dude the super licenses are super hard to get gold on. I managed to get gold on 7 of them but the last 3 seem to be almost impossible. Especially the s-10 license.

You need to do it in sport mode, it adds the distance of you and all the other online players

I transferred from ps4 to ps5 and 2 of the trophies bug out :( so I’ve got all the hard ones but not finish your first menu book and watch the final credits … so annoying

I'm happy for, but you have some competition. I have gold in all missions licenses, café menu's, circuit experience, and all races. All I need is to buy every car in the game.
As far as cars I have all invite cars, all used cars and almost all Hagerty cars. I need 9 more. Then after that is the rest of the cars.

a little over a year later, and ive still only done 32 sport races 😭 i loved playing this game and getting every other trophy, but i absolutely hate racing online and i just keep putting it off

I found it fairly easy. I platinumed GT5 nearly 2 years ago and that was far, far harder.

it’s so weird that i have this plat. i spent a lot of time on this game, then i sold it. the 25th anniversary steelbook, which since then has become worth a lot more money for some reason? i don’t really understand it. i downloaded the ps4 version since it’s still on my account and it gave me all the trophies a second time
most limited editions go up in value over time, the movie probably helped

Just got my plat, came here coz i remembered this video, the 50 Online races trophy sucked the life out of me, also the Ferrari 330 P4 '67 costs 20Million credits now, had to sell my McLaren MP4/4 and the other legend cars to fork hup that money, so other that these 2 trophies others were not bad.

That guy has to be thankful he did it for 1 year ago, doing silvia license test would have need more than luck today.. times have went quite a lot down that a 1 min for gold. And not only - many of test have shaved off like 2 secs down from gold time.

@@SegIsHollywood How did it go? Have you given a go to IA-10 as thats most players living hell or maybe the missions like moby dick and GTR-500 overhailing with mixed class cars. The IA has the time reduced to 57 seconds or something like that which really changes things.
S-10 breaks everyone. I had to stop and come back the next day to get a gold after trying what felt like forever
All of them were easy S-10 was a huge jump in difficulty

why do that to yourself. The racing line was tremendous help on this with TC set to 1.
I used tc1 and racing line on for the trophy, but wanted to do is with no assists. Glutton for punishment I guess.
I finally got all the trophies. Expect the stupid ass 3 legendary cars trophy. The last time that jaguar you need had appeared has been October. If you didn’t buy it then, you would STILL not have the trophy. Only thing I can do is sit around and hope and pray the last car I need pops up sometime soon.

I can't complete the last 2 license tests now. On my second account - it's impossible. Ever since they made changes to physicx, it's impossible for me.
When the game launched, i bought it on ps4 and completed all licence tests & challenges with ease. Now, same challanges & licence tests are impossible. They should make some changes to the time required. If you did it after the last 2 physics update - you're a legend.

the last license test isn’t that hard with the wheel if you take it easy…ish, i beat it by 2 seconds with my wheel, so it’s possible, it’s also great practice

You sir got lucky with S10 gold, since this video the required time (as with all licence tests) has reduced, for S10 it’s now 2:25 rather than 2:26. In addition, there is MORE water on the track, I.e. straight after turn one there is basically no room to drive car straight through without lifting 😢
I’m currently platting the game again with these conditions
S10 is the only one that’s really hurting me to be honest, S3 & 4 were difficult, but S10 is next level! It’s an extreme difficulty curve from the previous ones :(

S-10 is bs, it used to be 2:26:00 now it’s 2:25:00 and one second makes it just that much harder. I’ve done it countless times and the best I got was as a 2:25.155. Almost lost my shit completely. Still gonna have to get it though since that’s my last gold for platinum.

You've got a wheel .You're a sim racer now.... so ditch chase cam and get in the car .If cockpit cam is too much for you roof cam is a bit easier but still more realistic than driving 10 ft behind the car

You failed btw, at the start of the video you said you would platinum GT7 with a wheel. However on the S-10 license you used a controller. Maybe once you start to understand the game a bit better you can come back with the wheel and smash that S-10 time.
