Everything that you stated regarding the DA/SA pistol also applies to the full sized DA revolver. Excellent, concise information! 🇺🇸👮🏻‍♂️👍🏻

Hello Gabe. A few years back there was a video online of you demonstrating the hammer prep technique with a Sig Sauer. I showed that video to a police recruit training class. The class was fascinated by that technique. The class walked away with a lot of food for thought. They were impressed with the technique.

I have found that for me the first DA shot is more accurate than from a stiker with a very light trigger.
The longer heavier pull solidifies my grip.
Finger in to the first joint also stops the low left shot that seems to be common.

You would be in the minority of people that like a heavy striker trigger. IMHO, the worst of both worlds...but that is just my opinion. If you like it, drive on.
Regardless, a Glock with a NY trigger is not a DA pistol no matter what the Glock rep says.

I own both DA and Striker.
My CZ Shadow for me is better for first shot from a draw than a Glock 17L with a 3 pound Disconnector.
My EDC for years was a Sphinx SDP Subcompact.
Like you discuss in the video, the push out is refining my grip and sight picture as the DA is pulled.
If there is no rush, SA is better for me whether the 17L, Shadow with hammer fully cocked or my CZ Tac Sport.
      Those are gamer guns though.
I now just concentrate on first shot accuracy from concealment following the Center of Face paradigm.
Haven't touched my gamer belt rig in over a year.
I need more work clearing cover garment and initial grip so it doesn't need as much refinement on press out.
A light SA from Concealment, for me right now is requiring the slight hesitation before breaking the shot .
      I hope that makes sense.
