    This is a 2022. The 23' Corolla has a revised gauge cluster, the new Toyota interface system, standard 2.0L engine, and I believe redesigned headlights.

    We bought a Corolla le last year and we love it.I wish the center console was bigger so both people could use it and I wish the cup holders were located where the Camry has them.

      Glad you are enjoying it! Yeah it's a tight interior so not a whole lot of room for all that!

    Good basic ride. You should do a fully loaded 2023 Corollla XSE hatchback, it has so many additional features over the '22 and mid cycle refresh.

    I believe that’s a 2022 Corolla. The 2023 Corolla’s gauge cluster is different. Additionally the 1.8 L four-cylinder is no longer available in the 2023 it now come standard with the 2.0 liter.

    I've looked at quite a few of these Corolla's and every time I'm impressed, even knew a guy who had one and it was very roomy inside for a small car. I currently drive a Accord but it is getting up there in mileage and will definitely look for something more affordable in the next couple of years, it would be nice to have a more economical car.
    Also, the 2.0L is the standard engine in that corolla for the 169 hp not the 1.8L for the previous engine.

  • @braetonwilson4296

    Nice review but as several others have stated, this is definitely a 2022 Corolla, not a 2023 Corolla. As a result, you were driving the 1.8 liter engine with 139 HP that's no longer offered in the 2023 Corolla. 2023 Corolla comes standard with the 2 liter engine with 169 HP and the CVT with physical first gear for better off the line acceleration. We all make mistakes though so don't beat yourself up. Love you guys!

    Such a shame you don’t get it in North America, but if it comes there, hopefully it would be the cure for anti-stationwagonism.

    Why is there no lining on the inside of the hood?

    • @BrosFOURRSpeed
      @BrosFOURRSpeed  Год назад +1

      This is a cheaper car so it won't have an insulated panel under the hood. A good amount of cars don't have anything tho. Even my Supra doesnt. But the 4runner does, and many others will

    • @crimsonpearl4686
      @crimsonpearl4686 7 месяцев назад

      The hood insulator is available as an option with Toyota parts. I believe it around $200. Any Toyota dealer would install for you. Interestingly though, the high end hybrid version DOES come with a hood insulator.
