I think Squidward trying to run down SpongeBob and Patrick with the bulldozer at the end of opposite day goes very quickly from disorderly conduct up to attempted vehicular homicide.

That I couldn’t agree more with as that’s a perfectly valid example of just one of so many ways one could go crazy enough to cross the line with any such foul behavior. Especially since Squidward took SpongeBob and Patrick’s “hatred” so seriously, that instead of playing along with their opposite game, he is far too busy focused on attempting to sell his house in hopes of moving as far away from them as possible. And I think because of his own frustrations over his failed dream of becoming a famous, rich, successful artist.
@@unclej2763 though spongebob and patrick do not deserve to be unalived, you can't deny that sometimes they drive people insane. Breaking into your house,ruining a lot of your house....the list goes on about how spongbob and patrick go too far as well. This adding to the frustration of not achieving his dream, can push someone to a breaking point.

Squidward could easily plead insanity to most if not all charges in regards to his neighbors and workplace. He has annoying neighbors and incompetent coworker and boss. I'm pretty sure people would get destructive if left those things to go on for so long for so many times.

7:30 I lived in Hawaii for 7 years, and this is not enforced at all. Modified exhaust systems revving by at 2am, neighbors smoking and partying all night above me, drunken parking lot arguments, and I couldn't get anything done about any of it.
Despite his cellmate Squidward already serving a 10-year sentence for theft and being called a "convict" by Mr. Krabs, neither Patrick and Squidward are seen wearing prison outfits. He is confined in "The Executive Treatment" for corporate espionage that he never actually committed.
To be fair he didn't know that the bubble was alive when trying to pop it. No reasonable person...or sea creature would think a bubble would be alive so be he would have been let go for that. So take away that sentence, but put 2 counts of attempted vehicle manslaughter/murder his sentence would be 366 years.
You better check how many crimes spongebob commits because Spongebob is by far the one with the most crimes commited as he has broken into squidwards house THOUSANDS of times.

In this case the charge would be fraud since Squidward not telling them the truth is what led to a funeral service. Its unlawful to hold a fake funeral for a non deceased person.

12:00 that's not really false reporting, considering there actually was a disturbance at spongebob's house if it was loud enough to wake him up, plus the fact that there was an actual crime in progress of breaking and entering by plankton.
also 18:42 isn't really fraud, as lying about owning a restaurant isn't a crime. if you want to say actively and physically trying to pass himself off as the owner is the real crime, then you have to remember mr. krabs, the sole owner and proprietor, gave him full permission, which can be interpreted as krabs letting squidward run the restaurant for that time frame

I'm surprised the booby traps didn't end up on Mr. Crabs' episode. IIRC, booby traps aren't legal in a lot of places and in some places, the fines can be pretty big.

I wonder if even though this was more karma than a prison sentence, Squidward somehow still already punished himself somehow by paying the price of going into the Krusty Krab freezer on the Sunday it was closed as usual.
Like, just because Squidward actually got lucky to escape SpongeBob and Patrick looking for him when they only asked him if he wanted to join them for jellyfishing, wouldn’t necessarily mean it was quite wise for Squidward to practice his clarinet in the empty Krusty Krab. But Squidward clearly fully brought it on himself to hide in the kitchen freezer.
And of course, as we know, to add insult to injury, Squidward tried to open the freezer door from the inside to escape, but got locked in.
But the worst part has gotta be that Squidward thought someone would eventually notice he was gone and they would have to go searching for him, and that “he would be out of there in no time”. Of course, fast forward 2000 years later, and we know what happens next.
