i remember listening to Tyr's albuns day after day, long time ago when i was a kid, listening to this song now brings back an incredible nostalgia of more simple days, and gives me strength and inspiration to face the present days now. Thanks a lot Tyr, you are like the mouth of the gods💪
Fame and fortune to all Northern Europe
I recently discovered Tyr, I can't stop listening to it, what an enveloping sound, greetings from Spain.
Fame and fortune to 2022 TYR 🙌🏻💪🏼
This!
One of my favourite Týr songs 🤩
from start to finish, this is probably one of the best songs ever composed. dare i say it would even give Freddy Mercury a run for his money.
❤❤❤
🤘🏻😎🖤🎵🎶
This song gives me so much energy and power. It always inspires and uplifts me to be fearless and take anything on. Love it so much

Absolutely one of my favorites, the drums blow me away!
On wings of Dragons ♡ this song is what I hold in my heart to face the greatest challenges
Hail Týr starting off the new year with a badass track that still hits home hard! 🍻🤘🏻🔥💯
i love this song i don't know why. But i know something,Týr its a unique band, the only like this.
Been a while since I listened to Tyr. Been listening again recently on a whim and all the lyrics came rushing back to me. So fun to sing along.
Saw Tyr live a few years back in Oakland with Orphaned Land opening. Both bands killed it! The venue may have been small but the energy in the crowd and the bands was really great. One of the most memorable metal shows I've ever been to. Hoping for another US tour soon!
We're very glad to hear that you like the music and the shows. We will be back in the US as soon as circumstances allow.

Hail to the Hammer for 2022!
Happy new year! Stay safe out there, we're going need more good music this year.
I think I can just about smell the olden days from this, under the more modern framework. So evocative and powerful among/through a number of layers, such a great track. Really looking forward to upcoming music, whenever that may be. Cheers, and have a great 2022!
Espero que tengan un año de éxitos y de muchas giras esperando que vengan a México un abrazo fuerte
Heri, a few RUclips video releases ago, I said there's nothing you guys do that I don't like, and you replied that I'd probably find something I didn't like. Well, so far you've failed. I still greatly enjoy every song I've heard from you guys. Cheers!
I'm glad to hear that :) Cheers!

Much may change in the life of a man
Now I will sing of how the war first began
How these dark days of doom became mine
It was the year Nine Hundred And Ninety Nine
When pagan poets speak of heathen heroes
Holding high the old way
Warriors waging
Into the storm
On wings of dragons
Fame and fortune
Into the storm
Into the storm
Into the storm
From the old land in east we had word
Of how the Earl had fallen and then we heard
That he dies he who dare disobey
When this new king imposes the eastern way
When pagan poets speak of heathen heroes
Holding high the old way
Warriors waging
Into the storm
On wings of dragons
Fame and fortune
Into the storm
Into the storm
Into the storm
A storm has begun by my magic command
And my runes in the sand will deny them land
You may die on your feet or you live on your knees
When the raven is fed time will come for peace
When pagan poets speak of heathen heroes
Holding high the old way
Warriors waging
Into the storm
On wings of dragons
Fame and fortune
Into the storm
Into the storm
Into the storm
Happy new year
Happy new year
Wrote this a while back while listening to the discography one evening, I'm sure you like praise. :)
Standout tracks for me on each album-
Ragnarok.
The beginning
The hammer of Thor
Brother's bane (singing it with my brother while our blood is half cider)
Wings of Time (the volume dynamics. the bass. the drum panning.)
Lord of Lies (rhythmically very interesting to me, similar to nine worlds of lore)
Valhalla
By the Light of the Northern Star.
By the sword in my hand (chorus is epic)
Ride (sounds like a metal-punk drinking song)
By the light of the northern star (I'm a sucker for guitar melodies that copy the vocal melody)
The Lay of Thrym.
Flames of the free, just blasts right off the bat.
Evening Star (wish there was more metal with this kind of sound)
Fields of the Fallen (another "chorus is epic")
Ellindur Bóndi Á Jaðri (somehow inspires me without understanding a word of it)
Nine Worlds of Lore (Madness. Technically brilliant, beautiful, powerful)
The Lay of Thrym (chorus guitar parts are so out there but work perfectly)
Valkyrja.
Grindavísan (sounds like the music of a world just outside of our own somehow)
Into the Sky
Fánar Burtur Brandaljóð (yes, all three are back to back on the album. A straight 11 minutes of joy)
Lady of the Slain (did I say three straight? I meant four.)
Valkyrja (fucking sike, I meant five. Straight. Tracks. What a killer time I had on first listen way back then)
Hel. (Oh look, my most anticipated album ever. Somehow blew way past what I expected.)
All Heroes Fall (by the sword in my hand vibes but with that solo)
Garmr (great song but love it more as a buildup to the epic...)
Sunset Shore (Stripped down but nothing missing. Great song)
Empire of the North (I think Tyr have the best choruses in all metal. As always, this one kills)
King of Time & Fire and Flame (both are great, but King of Time starts the build to something...)
Against the Gods (perhaps my favourite* Tyr song. Before this, the album was great. When I heard this, the album was guaranteed for looping for a month)
Songs of War (where's my sword?)
*All time favourites: Nine Worlds of Lore. Against the Gods. Lord of Lies. The Hammer of Thor. Valkyrja. Evening Star.
Honestly completely agree but can't believe you missed out the Hunt before Lord of Lies. The Hunt is incredible, the clever way they implement a word and use both it's meaning (Shed a tear and tear his brother to the bone, Let them come how come they never wonder why) etc and that damn chorus.
so cheesy AND so good. hell yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
edit: solo is legendary
