I really started listening to Seether since the start of 2008 and i'm still trying to decide what my favorite song is. They are still one of my favorite bands ever.
This is raw Seether, and as a musician feel this is one of there better songs. Very trippy tune.
Seether has so much good songs it's hard to say which one is their best. But this may be their best song in my opinion.

Last time I saw them (last November) they played Burrito, Gasoline, and a bunch of old songs. I've never actually been to a Seether show where they didn't play Burrito, and I've been to four.

Exactly. Shaun fought pretty hard to have "Like Suicide" put on FBINS. Wind Up didn't really want it on there.

What a shame that this song never figured in the album... And what a big shame that the person that have these B-Sides don't wanna share them with us and prefer to upload them in a fucking low quality.
I think that all the Seether-fans need to send messages to this guy and make him share these B-Sides and also the FBINS B-Sides, 'cause he got them.

He said that hes "fallen off the wagon" here and there. However, that event had nothing to do with drugs. He had a "nasty 24 hour bug" and thats why he passed out. It was during the middle of the song "Driven Under". Shaun and the boys need to take a break for a few weeks, maybe a month. They've been touring pretty much non stop for over a year.

Yeah. They mainly played it early on in '07. When I saw them back in September, or October, they only played "Rise Above This", "No Jesus Christ" and "Fake It" from the new album. I really wish they would play some older songs live..I miss "Pride","Fuck It", and "Burrito". Songs like that live.

First and foremost....Seether is the best band out there right now...that being said, here's the problem I had with this album: It sounded really commercial..given there were awesome songs on it but then to find out that a song like this didn't make the album is an atrocity. What they need to advertise on the albums are songs like these...they are so reminiscent of what makes Seether a great band, that sad, depressing dirty grungy sound that they produce so fucking well....GOD love this shit

Pat left, most likely, because he didn't agree musically with the rest of the band. Shaun said he was always the neysayer of the band and wasn't too experimental.
Pats a great guitarist though. Hes playing with a few bands near me in Philidelphia. I don't think we'll see his name in lights any longer, but hes still active.

Actually, this sounds almost entirely like Shauns work. However, that solo at the end is Pat without a doubt. I do agree though, Pat is a pretty good guitarist.

Yeah, Shaun had a bad heroin problem.He nearly broke up Seether at the end of 2006 because he couldnt control it. Hes gotten alot better, its clear to see.Atleast he isnt wasted or stoned during (almost)every performance like he was.

Maybe it is about another suicide, not Eugine's. Listen to "Love Her" that talks about a girl one of the band members met who committed suicide, "Like Suicide" is maybe about that.
I think it still might be about Eugene though. Shaun once said on the Seether forum that he tries to make meanings of songs not obvious, so you can make your own meaning, or/and so it is more interesting trying to figure out the meaning. He could have said "she" in it for that reason...
I honestly think this song had the potential to be big when this album came out. I think it could have been bigger than Remedy. That is so fucked up its a B-side. This is one of their top 3 songs. But the crazy thing is, listen to the lyrics. This was when Shaun was fucked up all the time and in a dark spot in his life. That is why the whole Karma & Effect album was their best. It is unfortunate the band isn't like this anymore but I respect why.
Well, I'll tell you something new: the band will release all their B-Sides the next year, in their 10th anniversary :DD

Buy as many "Karma and Effect" CD's as you possibly can, thats how =). If these songs were not on the internet, I doubt anyone would ever know about them. Its very rare to get a B-side on any CD, its very rare to find them on the internet! I still haven't located the B-sides for FBINS'.
why especially? this is a pretty 'calm' song and could be liked by 'pop' people if you ask me...

i think it is about Eugene, but in the album version he said "she" maybe to make it less obvious. OR it could be something else. Maybe he used to tease his brother by calling him "she" and he's doing it in this song, to sorta be closer to him. Could be it.

Well I wouldnt say hes shitty, nor would I say they arnt "great" musicians. They're very talented and create fantastic melodies, along with memorable and moving lyrics. They might not be the great at their instruments but they are great musicians. Especially compared to the rest of todays contemporary artists.
Pat isnt a shitty guitarist. He's good, not Yngwie Malmsteen or Steve Vai, but good. Pat isnt a bad person either, just needs an attitude adjustment.

No. Things just weren't working out. The reason why FBINS sounded like it did was because Shaun had the freedom to experiment with the sound. Like disclaimer05 said, Pat was the naysayer. Pat wanted everything to sound hard. With Pat gone, Shaun was able to experiment.

@cnD3ATH For sure..I was about to make a comment saying it is probably one of their best songs...In my opinion it has to be atleast one of their top 3 songs...I'd say 1 but they have too much good songs I can't really pick a number one favorite. It gets me so angry that this song was a B-side.
I think this song is really good, I dont understand, its better than some of the stuff from K&E. If they would have just polished the bridge and the outro I think this song would have been an amazing addition to the album.

I thought the band was doing great when Pat was in it. But I understand where Shaun is coming from. I think Seether was better when they made stuff like this. They are still a great band but they aren't at their best at the moment.
