- What a fantastic trail this was. A very nice trail through the middle of the forest with quite a lot of sand. Nice and heavy! But that's why it's challenging. My wrist has had to endure a bit, but it was definitely worth it.
I hope to be able to ride enduro again soon. Of course, that will always be the question in the Netherlands.... When can I go again?

When fatigue strike...welcome to my world. Working on long distance running to alleviate a bit.
Oh, I miss that 2-stroke sound on a dirtbike. Regarding arm pump, back in the day I roadraced at the national level and I was taught to use a dowel rod attached with a piece of paracord to a 1/2 kilo weight. Hold with both hands and roll up, roll down any time you're watching TV, riding to and from tracks, etc. Roll until your arms feel like noodles. No more arm pump, from which I suffered in 6 and 24 hours endurance races. I was very fortunate to work in Rotterdam 1981-84; love your country and miss the your accent. Alstublieft.

I'm old enough to remember having to kick-start two stroke moto-x cross bikes which was no fun when you'd dropped it in the sloppy mud exhausted and then had to kick it like crazy to get it going again!😂

a small modification to your bike that, in my opinion, would greatly improve the control you have over the bike: slide the forks up a little until the plate is at the same level as the fork crown. in this way you raise the front, the fork's inclination angle opens up and the trail increases. the bike will be a little less maneuverable but much more stable on the sand!

When sitting & riding on your dirt bike, put your crotch closer to the gas tank cap. Like sitting closer to the handlebars. Why? You’ll have better control.
The way you’re sitting, it looks like you’re riding your street bike.
I used to ride my dirt bike as if I was riding my Harley (my butt way back over the exhaust & my arms straight. My friend asked me why I ride like that? I gave a i don’t know answer & he told me where I should be sitting & he explained why.
And just like that, I had better control of my dirt bike.

Nice trail riding area! If you are getting arm pump, stand in the attack position and stand on the pegs on the balls of your feet and grip the bike with your legs. This will make rough sand riding easier and not use your strength in your arms.
Have you seen the “rice bucket” method for making your hands, wrists and forearms stronger? There are lots of videos on RUclips and everyone seems to get good results. Low cost and you could do it for a few minutes per day.
